Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God-Chapter 2155 - 984: Soul Pool (Part 3)
The more vigorous the soul fire, the stronger he is, and vice versa.
Just like in the Tower of Dominion, Gaven can easily issue orders to every soul within his range.
The premise is that he can distinguish which soul fire represents whom.
Currently, he can identify three—Dog Demon Andrew, Skeleton Lord Bradford, and the Skeleton Cavalry Lord.
Their soul fires are highly distinctive, the rest are almost identical.
Not exactly, individuals cannot be distinguished, but types can be discerned.
The soul fire of skeleton soldiers is human-shaped, the skeleton minotaur’s has a bullhead, blazing skeletons tend towards burning flames, while skeleton warhorses appear in horse form.
The most interesting is the skeleton cavalry, Gaven originally thought it was two clusters of soul fire next to each other.
Actually, it is not; it’s a fused soul fire, indicating that the skeleton cavalry is a whole.
This means there is no need to infuse slaughter divine power into the skeleton warhorses.
Controlling the skeleton knight is enough as he will spread his soul fire to his mount.
Gaven can clearly feel the underground network of the soul pool, they are soul channels.
In his skeleton warhorse pool, there are two main soul channels, one providing energy to skeleton soldiers, the other to skeleton warhorses.
These soul channels are clearly not isolated but have their own network.
The soul channel energizing the skeleton warhorses is evidently a small branch, and Gaven’s soul consciousness extends outward along it, soon disappearing at the far end.
The soul channel energizing the skeleton soldiers is a main road; following it quickly yields results for Gaven.
There, he discovered a new soul pool, surrounded by numerous soul fires.
This soul pool has an owner; as soon as Gaven’s soul consciousness touched it, a tremendous force blasted him away from there.
In terms of numbers, the opponent absolutely cannot compete with Gaven.
However, they have the advantage of being local, and in terms of solidity, they are far beyond Gaven, whose soul has spread out for dozens of kilometers.
The Skeleton Minotaur Pool.
Based on the information previously provided by the Skeleton Lord, Gaven can basically determine that it is the soul pool occupied by another Skeleton Lord, producing skeleton minotaurs.
It is already in his territory, making the subsequent task straightforward: once his forces are fully assembled, he will directly take it down.
The Skeleton Cavalry Pool has been infused with seven points of slaughter divine power, filled to seventy thousand; even if the skeleton cavalry is somewhat special and takes up two slots, that’s still thirty-five thousand.
With thirty-five thousand skeleton cavalry, while not claiming to be invincible, it can certainly sweep the surroundings undefeated.
The coverage of the soul pool already exceeds that of Mesnoel’s Tower of Dominion, but everything here is too monotonous, resulting in relatively simple functions and scenery.
Gaven thus has fewer tricks to play.
Having experienced the gems of the Tower of Dominion, Gaven has lost the initial excitement of encountering such items and does not linger endlessly.
After confirming no more gains, he withdraws his soul consciousness back to reality.
The soul pool, once infused with a large amount of slaughter power, is noticeably different from before.
Originally standing beside the soul pool, Gaven now stands at its center, feeling its pulsation clearly.
As mentioned earlier, the soul pool isn’t truly filled with water, it just looks like it is filled with soul energy.
Therefore, it can bear weight, though to a slightly lesser degree.
Standing on top, Gaven feels a thick fluid lapping over his feet.
Skeleton warhorses are only submerged up to their hooves, and skeleton soldiers are almost unaffected.
The entire Skeleton Cavalry Pool radiates an intense red glow, filled with an infinite aura of slaughter, and its area has expanded sevenfold.
This means that the number of skeleton soldiers or warhorses recruited per minute is no longer one, but seven.
This change is logical.
After all, the soul pool has been enhanced, the storage capacity for troops has been increased, and the summoning speed will follow suit.
Skeleton soldiers and skeleton warhorses surged out of the soul pool in droves, each emitting a faint red glow; although not as deeply red as those blessed by slaughter, it signifies the soul pool’s control over them.
Through the soul pool, Gaven can deploy them to fight for him.
Having satisfactorily inspected the situation, Gaven finally focuses on the Skeleton Cavalry Lord.
He is clearly bound to the soul pool, and once Gaven completed the transformation of the soul pool, he automatically became Gaven’s subordinate.
Attributes-wise, there are also clear indications.
Life Force: 84 (Life Dice: 13D12)
Attributes: Strength 16, Dexterity 16, Constitution-, Intelligence 12, Perception 10, Charisma 15
Special Ability: Undead Trait, Immunity, Slaughter Blessing, Skeleton Cavalry Lord
This Skeleton Cavalry Lord does not have many special abilities, just a stronger skeleton soldier with a mount.
The truly unique aspect is the Skeleton Cavalry Lord Ability.
Skeleton Cavalry Lord (Special Ability) — Your soul fire is bound to the soul pool, and as long as the soul pool isn’t destroyed, your soul fire will never fully extinguish; if killed, you will be reborn in the soul pool.
Your soul fire has been enhanced by the soul pool, all attributes +2.
Your commanding ability over skeleton cavalry is enhanced, outside the soul pool coverage, you can command charisma adjustment value*1000 of skeleton cavalry, within the pool’s range, the number doubles.
This is undoubtedly a mid-level commander.
With him, it is noticeably easier for me to control the skeleton cavalry, at least allowing strategic and tactical deployment at the corps level.
After Gaven’s relentless modification, the soul pool can definitely accommodate more than one Lord, and the method naturally surfaced in his mind when he thought of it, being one of the many bits of knowledge that caused soul pain when he completed his transformation of the soul pool.
"Bradford!" Gaven calls the Skeleton Lord to him without further ado.
"Master." The Skeleton Lord immediately responds.
"You performed excellently before, so now I promote you to my lord, to help me command the skeleton soldier corps," Gaven earnestly tells the Skeleton Lord.
Even knowing these undead creatures lack emotion, he still fills his words with emotional value.
The Skeleton Lord immediately kneels down, saying: "It is my honor."
