When Gu Feng returned, he was quite surprised to see Liu Yuan sitting on the sofa, chatting with Lin Yue.

Liu Yuan was curious, "Won’t Mrs. Liu come to the house? If she sees you sleeping separately, won’t that give it away?"

Lin Yue, "When she comes, we’ll just sleep in one room."

With that, Lin Yue shifted her attention and looked up at Liu Yuan, "I want to discuss something with you."

Liu Yuan looked at her oddly, "What could Lin, the great CEO, possibly need to discuss with me? What’s it about?"

Lin Yue, "About matters between men and women, you’re world-wise."

"What a thing to say!" Liu Yuan glared at her, "What do you mean ’world-wise’? I feel like you’re insulting me."

Lin Yue coughed lightly, "If you were forced to spend a night in a room with someone of the opposite sex, under what conditions would you feel too restless to sleep?"

Lin Yue nodded vigorously.

Listening, Lin Yue thought to herself with disdain: That’s certainly not why I couldn’t sleep that night. She could rule out that Gu Feng left a bad impression on her, so her restlessness that night wasn’t due to this reason.

Lin Yue, "And the second possibility?"

Liu Yuan, "Due to affection or at least a lack of resistance to him, your brain anticipates that something might happen with him. But because of your desire to maintain propriety, you’re torn about making the first move. This tension stimulates dopamine secretion and keeps you in a prolonged state of torment."

The image of Gu Feng immediately came to Lin Yue’s mind.

Could this mean I like him or am not opposed to him?
