"Lucy, did you go home to see your father yesterday?" Sitting at the bar, Mirajane asked after hearing Lucy's story.

Lucy nodded and smiled. "Yeah, my father was really worried about me after I disappeared for seven years, but he always believed I was still alive. He even kept paying my rent all this time. When I showed up yesterday, he was so shocked!"

"Well, for him, seven years have passed, but you look exactly the same. That must have been hard to comprehend," Noel said with a gentle smile as he sat beside Mirajane.

"Ohh, sounds like they're really something," Natsu grinned.

Romeo clenched his fists and grinned. "That's Natsu-nii for you!"

"Hey, have any of you seen Gildarts?" While everyone was talking, Cana suddenly walked over and asked.

"What's the matter? Feeling lonely without your dad around?" Gray teased.

"As for Gildarts," Erza spoke up, "The Master—no, I mean, Makarov—called him over. They went to the old Fairy Tail guild together."

"Great! That means now's my chance to get to work!" Hearing this, Cana's face lit up with excitement.

Grabbing her barrel of alcohol, she immediately dashed toward the guild's entrance.

"Gildarts really is awkward when it comes to Cana," Happy commented, watching the scene unfold.

"So that's one of the strongest people in this guild... What a strange guild," Carla said with a helpless expression.

"Well, it's fine. This is just how their father-daughter relationship works," Noel remarked.

"This really brings back memories," the blond-haired man said again, gesturing vaguely with his hand.

"Seven years ago, we were all so young..."

"Oh, right! You used to be sent by Gajeel," the blond-haired man suddenly recalled, chuckling nostalgically.

"Man, Gajeel was scary."

"Stop bringing up the past, Sting," the black-haired man, who had remained silent until now, said indifferently.

"They are not part of the path we are walking now."

"I found you!"

Just as the two were talking, a man wielding a bow suddenly rushed out.

Without hesitation, he raised his bow and loosed an arrow straight at them.

However, before the arrow could reach its target, the blond-haired man casually caught it with one hand.

The moment the man finished speaking, he let out a scream, dropped his weapon, and fled in the opposite direction.

Watching this, the blond-haired man, Sting, sneered.

"Hey, hey, are you really just going to abandon your comrades? What a piece of trash."

"Dark guilds are always like that," Rogue replied flatly.

Behind them, a group of dark guild mages lay sprawled on the ground, completely incapacitated.

"Another big fight, huh, Sting?"

Two voices reached Sting and Rogue's ears.

Without any surprise, Sting turned toward the source of the voices and said lazily, "Where have you guys been, Lector, Frosch?"

"Nah, just scouting around a little," answered a red Exceed wearing a blue vest.

Beside him stood a green Exceed dressed in pink.

It was clear that both of them were Exceeds from Edolas.

The red Exceed waggled his finger. "Ahh, with this, you guys can definitely beat the Fire Dragon, Iron Dragon, and Sky Dragon! So reliable!"

"I think so too!" the green Exceed agreed.

"Heh, right?" Sting grinned and bumped fists with the red Exceed.

"Sting, you're the strongest Dragon Slayer!" the red Exceed declared proudly.

"I think so too!" the green Exceed echoed.

"Heh, right?" Sting laughed again and fist-bumped the red Exceed.

"I'm sure I can defeat Natsu now," Sting said confidently as he walked.

"Of course!"

Sting glanced at Rogue beside him. "Wanna go challenge him next time, Rogue?"

"I'm not interested," Rogue replied indifferently.
