Fairy Tail Destiny-Chapter 128: Ch : Arrest
Chapter 128 - Ch 128 : Arrest
Nirvana was torn in half due to the clash of magic between Noel and Dylan.
This legendary ancient magic was completely destroyed, leaving everyone in shock.
However, the trouble was far from over, as many people were still on Nirvana when it collapsed, putting them in grave danger.
Fortunately, everyone present was skilled enough to handle the situation.

Even Natsu, who was paralyzed due to the side effects of the Divine Flame Dragon, was able to escape unharmed with Happy's help.
In the end, they all made it out safely.
"Is everyone alright?" Noel slowly descended from the sky, his wings of light fading as he landed.
He looked around at the group, noting that none of them, including Ichiya and Hoteye, seemed to have sustained any serious injuries.
"Noel!"
"Are you okay? You didn't get hurt from that final attack, did you?"
"Noel, thank goodness you're safe!"
As soon as they saw him, the group rushed forward with concern.
Wendy, unable to hold back, threw herself into Noel's arms.
"I'm fine." Noel caught Wendy and glanced down at himself.
Though he had suffered quite a few minor injuries, his magic was completely drained, and his clothes were in tatters, but there were no severe wounds—he had made it through.
Noel's gaze swept across the area and landed on Jellal.
In an instant, the atmosphere grew heavy.
Everyone present had heard, to some extent, about what had happened at the Tower of Heaven.
Now, with these two mortal enemies meeting once again, an uneasy feeling settled in their hearts.
If they started fighting again, it would be no small matter.
Wendy and Erza opened their mouths as if wanting to say something, but Noel raised a hand, signaling them to stay silent.
He then slowly walked toward Jellal.
"It's been a long time since we last met... but it seems you've lost your memories," Noel said calmly, looking at Jellal.
"Yeah." Jellal was momentarily stunned before nodding slightly.
"I see... if that's the case... then let the past be the past. From this point on, live to atone for your sins and start anew," Noel said indifferently.
His words left everyone stunned.
They had expected Noel to hold at least some resentment toward Jellal, if not outright hostility.
Yet, instead of confrontation, he seemed to be letting go of the past?
At this moment, Noel himself found the sense of calm within him rather strange.
Perhaps it was because Jellal had, in some way, helped him merge his soul with the King of Light.
Or maybe, in Jellal, he saw a reflection of his own past self—the same confusion, the same suffering, the same unbearable weight of unforgivable sins.
Or perhaps it was both.
Because of all this, Noel felt a complex mix of emotions toward Jellal—anger, sympathy, regret.
All of it swirled together into an indescribable feeling, leaving him with only these words to say.
"Thank you," Jellal said softly.
Seeing this, the tension in everyone's hearts eased.
If a fight had broken out, there was no doubt that they would have stood by Noel's side.
But in the end, no one truly wished for more conflict.
"Ow! That hurts!"
A sudden cry of pain startled the group.
They turned to see Ichiya, who had been trying to sneak away after spotting Noel, seemingly bumping into something and letting out a pained yelp.
Noel frowned and looked at Ichiya. "What are you doing, Ichiya?"
"Ah... well, Noelle-sama, I was just trying to take in the fragrance of the restroom, but I seem to have bumped into something," Ichiya said awkwardly.
"There are words on the ground!" Wendy suddenly pointed out.
"This is... a magic seal?"
Just as the group was still puzzled, a large number of soldiers suddenly appeared, surrounding them from all sides.
"I don't want to resort to force..."
A black-haired man wearing glasses, seemingly the leader of the troops, stepped forward and spoke calmly. "Please remain where you are and do not move."
"Who are you?"
"I am Lahar, captain of the Fourth Enforcement Corps of the newly reformed Magic Council," the bespectacled man answered.
"The new Magic Council?"
"They reformed this quickly?"
Hearing his response, everyone showed expressions of surprise.
It was no secret that the previous Magic Council had lost all credibility and its members had collectively stepped down after the Tower of Heaven incident.
However, for them to reorganize so quickly was completely unexpected.
"We have been reborn to uphold law and justice, and we will not permit any form of evil to exist. Our objective is to arrest the Oracion Seis. Please hand over the one known as Hoteye over there."
Lahar's gaze turned to the figure standing behind Jura—one of the Oracion Seis members who had aided the Allied Forces in this battle: Hoteye.
At Lahar's words, Jura quickly stepped forward. "Wait a moment—"
"It's fine, Jura."
Before Jura could finish speaking, Hoteye had already stopped him.
"Richard..."
"Even if I have repented and turned over a new leaf, the sins of my past will not simply disappear. I want to start anew, so that when I finally find my younger brother, I can face him with dignity." Hoteye spoke with a carefree tone.
Hearing Hoteye's determination, Jura no longer tried to stop him.
However, what shocked everyone was the revelation that the brother Hoteye had been searching for all this time was actually Wally, one of Erza's childhood companions.
When Erza mentioned that Wally was currently traveling across the continent, Hoteye was so moved that he burst into tears.
"He seems kind of pitiful," Lucy said with a hint of sympathy as she watched Hoteye being taken away.
Noel shook his head. "No, Lucy, it's quite the opposite. Hoteye is actually a fortunate man."
"Huh?" Lucy looked at Noel in confusion.
"Because he has already found his light and hope, and he now sees the path ahead of him. No matter what situation he is in now, he is happy." Noel said with a gentle smile.
At this moment, the Council's Lahar spoke again, pushing up his glasses with his hand.
"However, our true objective is not just the insignificant Oracion Seis. The one who infiltrated and destroyed the Council, the criminal who dropped Etherion—an even greater sinner—is still right there, isn't he? You, Jellal. Step forward. We have received authorization: if you dare to resist, we will execute you on the spot."
Jellal did not resist and instead obediently put on the handcuffs.
Wendy desperately tried to defend him, but of course, the military would not accept her pleas.
Noel remained silent—he knew that the Jellal who had helped him save Wendy was not the same person they were arresting now.
However, since the current situation was not the right time to explain, he chose not to reveal this fact, even though he knew it would sadden Wendy.
"Oh, by the way, Erza, I wish you happiness," Jellal paused for a moment, glanced at Noel standing beside Erza, and chuckled. "But it seems your partner is quite clueless when it comes to romance—you're going to have a tough time."
"Ah... yeah," Erza responded with a faint smile.
Noel tilted his head in confusion, finding Jellal's words a bit strange.
But he quickly put the thought aside and called out to Jellal as he was being taken away.
"Hey, if you ever get out and have nowhere to go, come to Fairy Tail."
"Well, I'll take you up on that. Thanks." Jellal replied with a smile.
