Extra's Hatred System-Chapter 13: Class and Research

Today was Monday, meaning the school year was officially starting, and today was the day where the real classes would begin.

I opened my eyes and noticed that yet again I woke up too early for anybody else to be up as Mina was still snoring in her sleep.

But this time I refuse to make the mistake of going outside, I don't wanna meet any other important characters from the novel.

And so I decided to sit on my desk and open the book I previously used before to write the content of the following arcs.

The reason? I needed a plan to catch the culprit.

It was not a manga after all, so telling me that he has brown hair and that he is from a specific race doesn't help at all...

"I can't think of anything, damn it"

30 minutes after sitting on the chair, I still had not a single idea what to do, not matter how I searched inside of my head to remember any kind of clues from the novel.

The main character had found out about the matter after the villain made a mistake and showed himself in one of the secluded hallways of the school while talking about his plan on the phone with his boss.

Daemon heard him and followed his steps towards a secret room in the school, then he beat him up and saved Mina, essentially making her fall in love with him.

"..."

Wait...

"THAT'S IT!" I shouted at the top of my lungs enthusiastically, I had finally found a possible way to catch the bastard.

But it looks like my enthusiasm woke up Mina as she got up from her bed, looking angry.

"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" she shouted back, half-asleep.

"Huh... I was just mesmerized by your beauty and shouted when I woke up and saw it" I lied, but honestly who cares.

"W-what are you saying? Y-you always do this! A-anyways stop screaming when other's are asleep" it surprinsigly worked as she calmed down and went to the bathroom to wash her blushing face.

"Being a tsundere sure is hard..." I mumbled.

I finished eating breakfast and then headed to the first class of the week with Mina.

We arrived in the classroom and took our seats while we waited for the other students to arrive.

I could hear some whispers around me but I ignored them, their content was mostly about the powerscaling test and my ranking on it.

The teacher, Ms.Lana, finally arrived after five minutes and greeted us.

"Welcome everybody, I will be your main teacher for the remaining of this year, I hope we can all pass it calmly."

Each class has two teachers, one who hosts theory classes and exams and such (the main one) and another who hosts the practical ones.

Ms.Lana will be the host for the theory classes, and her partner will be the host for the practical ones.

"Alright, the first period will be about the basics of combat and how it works, please open your books on page 12 and take notes"

"""Yes."""

And the lesson started.

But honestly, this was so boring I don't even know most of these people have the will power to take notes.

It was all information I already knew too, the author of the novel REALLY took the time to explain most of the things inside his work, of course I couldn't remember everything but the basics were extremely easy.

"Borinnnggg~" I whispered, low enough for nobody to hear me.

Time passed slowly during the morning and we had two more classes after the first one.

The other two were also very boring and I just slept during the whole thing.

"Hahhhh"

I sighed in relief as I was now able to finally rest, the final theory class of the day was done and lunch break was here.

"Are you alright?" Mina approached me, looking worried.

"Yeah, I'm just not a big fan of school" I replied, "well, wanna go eat?"

"Sure" she gave me a deadly cute smile.

After eating lunch, I had one last class, a practical one.

"Hello everyone, i'm the other teacher for your class, you can call me Mr.Volt, please follow me, and by the way, the lesson will be outside today"

Mr.Volt was a tall and buff man, his arms were full of muscles and he had a black beard, overall his body was similar to a rock.

But i'll cut the bullshit and just inform you all that I found something worse then theory classes.

Basically it was training to fight monsters except we were each training with the teacher, and I got absolutely wrecked as I don't have the strenght even with the "Trial and Error" skill.

Of course everybody else was getting destroyed too and all looked annoyed; even Daemon, the protagonist, still did not stand a chance agaisn't Mr.Volt.

I was now laying on my bed after taking a long bath, I had never felt so sore before.

"My whole body hurts like hell"

It was understandable, Mr.Volt's training was intense and my body could not hold on for so long.

But now was not the time as I put back my uniform and opened the front door of the dorm, ready to leave.

"Where are you going" Mina asked.

"Huh..." I hesitated before replying, "it's a man's issue so I can't tell"

Her face turned bright red at my words, "p-pervert!'

Wow? I don't understand what she thought I was doing but it was undeniably wrong... well atleast she let me go as she closed the door in her embarassment.

"I'll just clear the misunderstanding later..."

The reason why I was in such a hurry was because I thought I figured out a way to find the villain. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝔀𝓮𝙗𝓷𝓸𝙫𝓮𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

I said before that the protagonist discovered the scheme by complete luck as he passed a hallway.

And that's what I wanted to do: go to that same place and wait to see if he didn't appear to talk to his boss.

It was a hallway at the far right of the academy and almost nobody passed it if there wasn't any class, which makes it a great location for secret meetings.

But after arriving at the place, I saw nobody there.

I know I couldn't be disappointed as there was no way I could get it on the first try but it was still annoying.

I waited two hours afterward but nobody arrived, which made me abandon the plan for the day.

"Looks like it's gonna take a while..." I told myself, "well, it's fine, I'll try again tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after."

I'll keep trying no matter how many tries and how much time it takes.
