Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 255: Kris: Mercy is a luxury you lost the moment you raised your weapons against me...
At the same time...
Kris stood alone at the center of the rocky plateau, his face consumed by raw anger. His appearance had changed drastically. His long red hair now had snow-white roots, the distinctive mark of the complete awakening of his Pendragon bloodline. Meanwhile, the dragon tattoo engraved on his neck and running down his muscular arm glowed with a menacing orange light under the sun of Tenebris. His bandaged hands, proof of his relentless training, gripped his spear with one hand.
His amber eyes, with slightly reptilian pupils, fixed the mass of students with absolute coldness. He wore a fitted black armor suit under a heavy cape that floated with the currents of burning air. His one-meter-eighty stature radiated such dense physical pressure that it seemed to make the surrounding air vibrate.
In front of him, a small crowd of Pendragon faction students, sent by Godwin, had just finished encircling him. Their faces wavered between pure terror and desperate resolve.
"If you don’t want to die here today, I suggest you get lost!" said Kris, his deep voice resonating with newfound authority. "This will be the only warning I give you..."
"Shut your fucking mouth, you filthy coward!" spat a girl with short hair and light armor as she hurled a massive ice spear at insane speed toward him. "You sneak-attack our reserves like a coward and now you dare act all pissed off..."
"That’s your choice..." Kris simply replied...
As the ice spear approached him, Kris’s aura intensified brutally... The heat radiating from his aura was so intense that the frozen projectile melted and then evaporated into a hissing cloud of steam before it could even touch his skin.
’Shit... he’s even more powerful than I thought...’ the girl thought, shock written across her broken expression... ’No matter, we outnumber him and we’re not that weak...’ she steeled herself inwardly.
But before she could open her mouth to order the assault, she felt a searing heat bite into her skin. She turned toward the source of the discomfort and the sight froze her in terror.
Kris had already closed the distance in a movement imperceptible to the naked eye. He held one student by the throat, the unlucky one whose luck had run out, while two others collapsed beside him. The heat emanating from Kris’s hands was so intense that the boy he held literally liquefied. His flesh turned into boiling pulp that evaporated with a macabre hiss. The other two had their bodily fluids instantly boil under their skin and fell heavily to the ground, losing consciousness as steam escaped from their pores.
"He’s... he’s a monster..." muttered another student, face horrified, letting his sword drop.
Kris began to walk. Each step he took on the basalt left a blackened, smoking footprint. The pressure of his fused arcane mana and art made his enemies suffocate, crushing their lungs under an invisible weight.
"Damn it, we outnumber him, attack him all at once!" bellowed a student from the back, brandishing a mage staff... "Or you’re all going to die!"
The survivors resigned themselves... They activated their magic circles and auras simultaneously. A rain of fire spells, reinforced arrows, and steel blades converged toward the center where Kris stood.
Kris did not retreat. He seized the spear strapped to his back with a fluid motion.
<Art: Blazing Lion - Second Movement: Roar of the Flame Lion>
Kris let out a cry that no longer sounded human and a shockwave of pure fire exploded from his body, sweeping away the magical projectiles like mere straw. The flames spread across the ground, turning the terrain into a circular inferno. The nearest students were thrown backward, their armor melting onto their skin amid screams of excruciating pain.
Kris vanished again and without warning reappeared in front of the first warrior attempting a parry. With a simple strike from the shaft of his spear, he shattered both of the boy’s arms. The sound of bones exploding echoed clearly through the ravine... Without stopping, Kris spun his weapon and the incandescent tip pierced the torso of a second opponent. The heat of the blade caused the unfortunate’s internal organs to explode in a fraction of a second. Kris withdrew his weapon with a sharp pull, flinging charred shreds of flesh onto the others.
A group of three mages tried to cast a combined earth spell.
"Too slow..." Kris murmured...
He used the aura beneath his feet to propel himself into the air, a technique he had learned while fighting Kaiser. In mid-flight, he adjusted his trajectory and fell like a comet into the center of their formation.
The impact pulverized the ground, shattering the legs of the three mages under the gravitational pressure he exuded. Kris followed with a circular sweep of his spear. The fiery blade sliced through the necks of the three students in one clean motion. Their heads rolled in the dust while their bodies remained frozen for an instant, spurting jets of blood vaporized by the heat.
The girl who had launched the first attack tried to flee, but it was already too late. Kris turned his head toward her, his amber gaze shining with predatory light. He raised his left hand...
<Arcane Gravity Magic: Attraction>
The girl was violently yanked backward, her feet leaving the ground. She flew straight toward Kris, who caught her by the face. He slammed her skull against the rocky ground with titanic force. The stone cracked in a star pattern and the sound of her frontal bone giving way was final. She stopped moving, her brain spilling onto the burning basalt...
The last students, driven by murderous madness born of terror, charged all together.
"DIIIIIIIEEEE!"
Kris spun on himself, his spear becoming a whirlwind of wind. He no longer sought to parry, only to destroy. His speed was such that he seemed to multiply across the battlefield. A hand was severed here, a thorax caved in there by a kick charged with arcane mana. He advanced with deadly grace, every movement optimized for maximum carnage.
He grabbed one student by the arm, spun him around, and used him as a human shield against a volley of flaming arrows from his own comrades... The boy’s body was riddled with projectiles before Kris hurled him violently onto the archers, knocking them all down like bowling pins.
"Please... mercy..." begged the last survivor, a young noble whose armor was smeared with blood and ashes.
Kris approached slowly... He sheathed his spear on his back with insulting nonchalance. His draconic aura still pulsed, making his clothes smoke.
"Mercy is a luxury you lost the moment you raised your weapons against me..." said Kris, his expression remaining completely impassive.
He simply placed his hand on the top of the student’s skull. A surge of pure mana coursed through the boy’s body. His eyes exploded in their sockets under the internal pressure, and blood began pouring from his ears and nose. He collapsed lifeless, joining the mass of corpses now littering the plateau...
Kris remained motionless for a few moments amid the carnage. The ground was covered with dismembered bodies, burned flesh, and blood blackened by heat. The smell of death was everywhere, carried by the desert wind of Tenebris.
"Pathetic," he muttered, his eyes sweeping across the sea of corpses before he mechanically smoothed his hair back, showing not the slightest sign of fatigue or remorse.
