Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 134: She’s my type and she knows it...
Early the next morning, Kaiser had already gotten up and prepared to face another day within the academy.
"Ahhh..." Kaiser groaned. He hadn’t been here for long, but he already wanted to bail and sleep a little longer... he had more important things to deal with. "...What if I just skip class?" he asked himself, seriously considering it.
In his previous life, he had never dared to do it. Even under the insistence of a few friends and despite the class being boring and useless. The reason? It was because of his parents, more precisely his mother, the only one he had left.
Not having the privilege of starting life with a good inheritance, the path of school and then work was his only escape to at least hope to repay a part of everything this mother had done for him... at least that was his belief, and he clung to it so much that he had given up certain small pleasures back then.
And now that he had been reincarnated into this novel, before even repaying his debt, trying by all means to survive and perhaps return there.
’I wonder how she’s doing?’ he thought as he recalled the image of that woman, juggling three small jobs just to allow him a decent standard of living.
Was she still looking for him even now? Did time flow differently here? Maybe on Earth only one day had passed? Would he even have the chance to go back there? And if so, what would be the price to pay?
So many questions he had decided to set aside for now suddenly resurfaced all at once. The worst part was that he had no concrete answers despite his in-depth knowledge of this world.
Slowly, anxiety crept over him as he sat in a corner of the amphitheater while his eyes lost themselves in the horizon through the window. What if in the end all of this had been for nothing? What if setting foot here meant staying until death?
’Fuck... that can’t be real, right?’ he told himself while sighing as he watched a dead leaf carried by the wind pass in front of the window. ’There has to be a way to go back... at least just for my mother, since I never knew the one from this life.’
Suddenly the classroom door slid open, letting in the one who was supposed to give today’s lesson. Professor Altahir, a human commoner who had managed to rise among the best of his peers, allowing him to teach in such a majestic establishment.
"Good morning everyone, I hope everyone is present because we’re going to start today’s class without wasting any more time." Altahir said in a monotone voice as his tired eyes scanned the room.
’...Anyway, there’s no point in worrying myself sick for now, it’s not like I have a solution...’ Kaiser thought, pulling himself out of his deep thoughts while following the man who had just entered with his gaze. ’I just have to focus on doing everything to survive for now... I have this vague feeling that I still have a lot to learn from this novel.’
A breath of fresh air lightly lifted his hair, as if the universe itself agreed with his reflection.
"...As you all know, what we know of our world is unfortunately limited to the era of the demons’ appearance... the rest is simply impossible to trace."
Altahir had already plunged into the presentation of his lesson. All things considered, his personality was perfectly suited to what one might expect from a history professor. He may have seemed tired a moment ago, but when he taught, it was as if he had transformed, proof that he truly loved what he did.
"... And thus this war was named the Holy War of a Thousand Years. I suppose I don’t need to explain to you why it’s called the war of a thousand years..."
"... This war indeed had as its deep cause a new hierarchy of races, if I may put it that way. Certain races, due to internal conflicts, could not participate in this war and at the end of it they had to pay a heavy price by being almost excluded from society..."
Speaking of races, Kaiser unconsciously thought of that bastard Raymond with his delusion of human race supremacy. Besides, he enjoyed harassing Altahir because of his origins and the latter’s lack of self-esteem didn’t help matters at all.
’I suppose here or elsewhere, things are always the same... the strongest dominate the weakest.’ Kaiser sighed.
That one teacher harasses another might seem sad or pitiful, but in the end Altahir had to be the one to solve the problem... after all, even if someone did it for him, the only thing he would gain would be depending on that person for protection.
So it amounted to the same thing.
As the class continued, Kaiser’s eyes landed through the window on a familiar silhouette, the very one who had allowed him to acquire his manor. Ariana was walking along the neighboring corridor, with just as much elegance as ever.
’Ariana Hornraven... Hmm her name is quite similar to Adriana. A strange coincidence.’
Even though she wore the same uniform, the result was simply stunning. It looked as if the uniform had actually been designed by her. She clearly stood out from her peers. Two other female students walked behind her, while several guys willingly gave way.
"That dangerously enchanting charm..." Kaiser murmured to himself while observing her back. "... It’s actually a miracle that this bastard was eliminated by Kris in the original work because in any case, this woman was never going to allow him an honorable death... ending his life as the slave of a woman... tsk"
As if she had sensed a gaze on her, she slowed her steps until she stopped, then turned in Kaiser’s direction. She stayed there for a few seconds before finally turning her head to continue on her way.
"Good intuition?" Kaiser raised an eyebrow.
He then began to think back to the previous evening, the enchanting way she had acted and the kiss that followed the request. ’Had she prepared everything in advance or was it spontaneous?’
One could almost say that Kaiser had turned into a hooker on the sidewalk at night being hit on. And that damn request she hadn’t specified?
’She’s not going to ask me for something weird, is she?’
Thinking about it, the image of her curves and her iridescent gaze came back to his mind. ’It’ll depend on the level of weirdness...’ a smile slowly formed on his face.
While Kaiser was just wandering in his thoughts, Altahir continued to deliver his lesson just before being interrupted.
"Yes, what is it?"
A student in the front row raised his hand.
"Master Altahir, if history is lost, how do we know there were exactly seven generals, ancestors of the legendary families?"
A silence fell over the class upon hearing the question. To be honest, it was the kind of obvious question that slower students still asked anyway.
Without even having the chance to answer, an elf student next to him took care of the ungrateful task.
"Are you an idiot or what? He clearly said that the lost part of history was before the war..." he said while looking at the guy with a mixture of contempt in his eyes. "How can someone be that stupid and still sit in the very first row?"
At those words, the class burst into laughter while the kid surely regretted his stupidity for asking that question.
