I held it in my hands. It was hard... so hard that I could hardly tell if there was any skin on it.

It stood straight in front of me... not even horribly. I didn’t even realize that I was drooling subconsciously.

"How long are you gonna stare... having second thoughts, huh? I knew you couldn’t do it," Fu Sheng thought, still pretending to be asleep.

His words made me smirk... was he really challenging me? Hmm, bring it on.

After I was done, I quickly ran back to the cabin. Upon arriving, I saw Fu Sheng. He was standing, staring at the falling rain. I stood from a distance watching him... his beauty was like a form of therapy after a long day of stress.

Soon he saw me, and as our eyes both met, I felt my cheeks turn red. After all, we had both just finished some naughty acts... seeing each other face to face was still quite awkward.

I was about to step forward when I heard something that made my feet pause at that moment.

I finally got to him as his eyes were now fixed on me. With a teasing smile, I said, "Were you waiting for me?" I tilted my head with a pouted look.

He looked at me briefly before turning his face away. "You should have told me you were going out... I would have accompanied you. It’s raining so heavily... something could happen." He kept talking, but I just laughed at his words.

Covering my mouth, I waved my hands. "Nothing. It’s just that I didn’t know you could whine so much. Ahahaha."

He raised his brows. "Whine? You think I’m whining?" He frowned as he then took hold of his hands.

"Don’t worry too much... I can take very good care of myself. I’ll be fine... don’t worry," I said with a determined grin. He just rolled his eyes and looked at me.

"All lies... next thing you disappear... I’m not trusting you so easily." He turned around, ready to head inside, and I accompanied him.

We were about to enter when suddenly, Fu Jia stepped out, stopping in front of us. When she saw us, it was as though her spirit left her body, and I noticed it almost immediately.

"You? What are you doing out so late?" Fu Sheng asked, surprised to see her after... if I’m not sure, it was already towards midnight. Almost everyone was already asleep by this time, well at least, except for naughty people like us.

Fu Jia looked around, trying to find something to say until she finally came up with an excuse, "I-I-I wanna go relieve myself... W-What? What are you guys doing out here too?"

"Nothing... we are heading inside now," I folded my hands. "But you seemed so tense, I hope all is well?" I asked, raising my brows.

"Why is this bitch asking me that stupid question... did she suspect Fu Li and Bai Ming are missing? Shit, I have to take them inside."

Immediately, her thoughts passed through my mind. I was speechless, so speechless that I burst out without even thinking.

"Where is Fu Li?" I asked as her eyes widened while Fu Sheng looked at me, surprised I was asking about his sister.

Fu Jia started panicking, and now even Fu Sheng noticed it quickly. "F-Fu Li? W-Why are you asking where Fu Li is? I don’t know where she is... she should be asleep... how am I supposed to know? Leave me alone!" She pushed past us and stepped out.

Immediately, Fu Sheng and I exchanged looks, and he seemed to understand what I meant. I turned around and pulled Fu Jia back as she almost stumbled. "Where is Fu Li? What the hell are you hiding?"

Just then, Fu Fong and her parents stepped outside. They were helping him stand due to the beating that was still hurting badly.

All their faces were tense as well. Fu Sheng turned around and said, his voice already showing slight anger,

"I don’t know what you all are planning, but with just one shout, I’ll get the attention of the head guards, and the beatings you had received, you will get double of it again. Where is my sister?"

"Fu Sheng, calm down... don’t get all angry. Umm, it’s a long story, haha," Uncle Fu said as he laughed, though it was an annoying laugh for him. But Fu Sheng wasn’t having it.

"It’s like you don’t understand a single word I just said... don’t worry, I’ll make you understand," Fu Sheng said, about to turn around and head to the head guard’s cabin when Fu Fong shouted at his parents.

"Just tell him already... he’s going to find out sooner or later... ouch!" He groaned in pain as he was still hurting really badly.

Hearing their son’s words, Aunt Fu and Uncle Fu exchanged looks before sighing and accepting defeat.

Aunt Fu went on first, "We needed some firewood, so we sent Bai Ming to get it since Fu Fong had been injured really badly because of her stupidity... she hasn’t returned since then."

"And as for Fu Li... I asked what happened to Fu Li, not Bai Ming. Answer the question," I said, getting quite annoyed at how they couldn’t just answer a simple question.

Aunt Fu flashed me a hateful glance before facing Fu Sheng and continuing her explanation with a slight laugh, "Well, you know how Fu Li is living with us now... we needed someone to escort Bai Ming, and she was the only valuable person to accompany her. Fu Jia here was injured in her hand, so she couldn’t go. We had to send Fu Li instead. But the two of them haven’t returned ever since. We are even on our way to search for them both, but we have to wait until the rain stops... haha, I hope you can understand."
