Evolving My Mythic Legion With A Legendary Skill-Chapter 40: A Link
"Oh, now that you mention it, I am a bit hungry. Have you eaten? And where is your brother?"
He smiled and looked at the cute woman, she seemed a bit more relaxed now.
"No, I haven’t yet, he is preparing food. B- Bob and Rob are eating there." She replied, but still felt a little nervous.
After spending this much time in this new domain, she got to know more of Neil and understood his personality a bit.
He was kind towards all his subjects, she was obviously happy to have found such a wonderful lord.
She looked at his calm face, his long silver blue hair and icy blue eyes looked so beautiful.
Fay didn’t notice as she kept staring at him.
"Alright, bring the food here. We can all eat together." He said and stood up, patting her head.
Fay gave a feeling of a younger sister to him, even though she was older than him by several years.
"O- Ok." she stuttered and then hurried back, her face flushed red. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Having a domain and subjects was actually quite nice, or maybe he was just too lucky.
Before long, the three dwarfs and the two human chefs joined Neil around the campfire as they began to eat.
For now, he gave some regular food to Magnar and decided to feed him some gene points later on.
The archers had already eaten, when on duty they wouldn’t leave the tower.
Everyone relaxed as they ate and chatted, despite the danger, they all could still laugh.
Neil was happy that he was not alone.
Now his only worry was survival, escape, gene points, and shards.
They ate what should be dinner, although the sky remained the same, but it was already night time.
Neil felt exhausted, he didn’t get any rest after returning from the Lizard settlement.
"Lord, why don’t you rest for now? We can keep watch." Bob spoke.
They were like newborns, their souls put into newly built bodies, but all subjects had basic knowledge.
And they all knew they had to serve their lord and follow his commands.
So, they were also aware that most lords would just make their subjects do everything, all chores and even the dangerous tasks.
They would just hide in their domains and wouldn’t even participate in the battles, going as far as torturing their subjects.
So having someone like Neil as their lord was like winning a big lottery for them.
"Master, I will inform you immediately if something is wrong, so don’t worry." Nemo said reassuringly.
"Alright, be careful." He turned and walked towards the house, and slowed down the speed of the domain a little.
After some sleep, he could start hunting again.
There was also a nest in which another mythic class beast would soon be formed. After getting another mythic class gene point, his strength would increase by a big margin.
’What a pity though, if only the creation time was lower.’ He thought, but there was nothing he could do about it.
Returning to his cozy room, he fell onto the bed and covered himself with a blanket, falling asleep within moments.

"Ma..r! wa..."
Just some time after Neil had fallen asleep, Nemo’s voice sounded in his mind, but he was so tired that his mind naturally ignored it.
"Master, wake up!!" she spoke hurriedly, her voice getting louder.
Neil blinked his eyes open, feeling a headache. He stared at the ceiling and spoke: "Why are you waking me up already? I just fell asleep."
He wondered what danger had popped up minutes after he decided to rest.
"Huh? It’s already been more than five hours, anyway, there is an emergency." Nemo’s hurried voice sounded, surprising Neil.
He looked at the time and indeed a bit over five hours had passed, it was already five in the morning.
Rubbing his eyes, he sat up and decided to wash his face, to get rid of his drowsiness.
While doing so, he questioned: "What’s wrong? Did we encounter more beasts?"
He splashed cold water over his face and shivered slightly, he made a reminder to have warm water delivered later on.
As he walked out of the bathroom, he saw Magnar sleeping peacefully, Neil felt a bit jealous.
He picked up his familiar and carried it outside.
"No, it’s not the Frost Bears or the centipedes. We have discovered that two Links have opened ahead and a large amount of creatures are present. Probably Phaged..." she answered seriously.
Neil paused for a moment, then continued to walk, quickly walking out of the main building.
"I stopped the domain after receiving the report, they are just up ahead. Their numbers are in the hundreds, maybe over a thousand and there also seem to be some at the 2nd Origin." Nemo’s voice grew heavy as she reported.
After walking out, Neil observed the surroundings and saw everyone in his territory was vigilant.
The domain had stopped more than five hundred metres away from the Link.
"Dealing with them will be difficult even if we all attack, taking a detour and completely avoiding them seems to be a better option here." Neil mumbled.
They can’t go to the hot side or the domain itself will end up burning, so they would have to move further away from the dividing line.
"That might not work, master. I had the vultures scout over two kilometres into the cold side, but these creatures are spread over a large area.
The two Links are quite far from one another, but somehow they are present side by side." Nemo spoke.
Neil frowned, it seemed the only way was to move the domain through the horde of creatures.
They couldn’t stray too far into the cold side either, after all, he still remembered Hiroshima’s warning.
For a few moments he fell silent, then he began to order them: "Nemo, use the elemental bow and support me later on. Just stop the 2nd Origin creatures."
Then he ordered the two vultures to go out and give a thorough report of their strength and numbers, and find the route where the number is low.
The four archers took their positions on top of the watchtowers, since it was an emergency, so all were working together.
"No matter what, don’t stop the domain, just keep moving. And Magnar, you are coming with me this time."
He said, pulling out the two blood red short swords from the spatial storage.
As soon as the vultures returned, Neil shifted a bit further away and got ready for the charge.
He couldn’t go ahead to inspect first, only by a surprise charge could they have a chance at passing.
Otherwise, the flood of all those Phaged would drown him and his domain.
"LET’S GO!!" He shouted as the domain began to move at full speed, rushing towards the hordes of Phaged creatures.
He stood right near the gate with Magnar standing on his shoulder, ready to move out once they were close enough.
Everyone had taken their positions, the two vultures were high in the sky.
Their main task was to deliver sneak attacks, carry away the corpses, and help if Neil was in trouble.
The guardian held the elemental bow beside him, controlled by Nemo. She would mainly support him with powerful arrows.
