Evolving My Mythic Legion With A Legendary Skill-Chapter 126: The Harsh Training
"This morning we found two more corpses, they were in a similar condition, no even worse." Hiroshima replied in a solemn tone.
Neil clenched his fists, it was exactly the thing he wanted to avoid.
"Where did it happen?" he asked, eyes narrowing and several questions appearing in his mind.
"Follow me." Hiroshima spoke and started walking.
After taking a few steps, Neil smelled the stench of blood, it deepened his frown.
Near the end of the domain, two more corpses were pooled on the ground.
The bodies were torn into several pieces, it really looked like the work of a beast, some mindless creature.
Few of the lords whose domains were nearby couldn’t help but vomit, they had always stayed away from fights.
Neil observed the area, then the surroundings yet again there were no signs.
"Clean this place up sigh." He didn’t even know what else to do.
He could come here to keep watch himself but also didn’t want to put his domain at risk, in the end he decided to send Magnar here.
"Shift everyone closer to the front, don’t let anyone wander around. Everyone needs to stay in big groups, and this night, no one is allowed to sleep." He added.
"I will send someone to keep watch." Neil was now sure, whether it be human or some beast, it was not going to stop.
Everyone in the settlement was in great danger, it wasn’t really his problem.
Even without them he could keep moving, but he didn’t want to become callous to human emotions.
He felt the moment he stopped caring about everything, he really might end up giving in to the phantom inside him.
Neil gave a few more instructions and Hiroshima just nodded seriously, he had a grim look on his face.
Three people had already died, if they don’t do anything, then it is only going to increase.
After doing all that, Neil returned to his domain, feeling a headache.
He announced this news in his domain, they were startled but believed in Neil completely.
Ileana stood beside him, silently supporting him.
After he had given his instructions, Neil and Ileana stood together, away from the other subjects.
"It is fine hubby, you can go for training. I doubt anything would attack at this time and we can handle our own here."
Neil agreed, he could even discuss this with his teacher and ask for some advice.
"We are close to the link, Nemo once we are there, purchase the cameras I have told you about." Neil said.
A few minutes later, he walked into the core room.
And then entered the clash realm, where Cinthia had arrived in advance, like always.
No matter how early Neil arrived, he always found her there, and she seemed very enthusiastic towards this training.
"Walker, did the issue get resolved?" she asked upon seeing him.
"No, actually the situation has gotten worse. Yesterday morning..." he explained it to her.
Cinthia listened in silence, only after he finished did she finally speak seriously.
"Yeah there is a chance some creature might have sneaked into the territory, it could also be some sort of mind control. In the worst case scenario, just leave the settlement behind and continue."
"Hmm." Neil nodded, he had done so twice before, he could do it again even if it brought guilt.
He could help others but not over his own life or the lives of his subjects or loved ones.
"Also getting those cameras is a good idea, they could work. Get some thermal monitors as well, what if that creature is invisible." Cinthia added.
"Okay teacher, I don’t think that is a human’s work." Neil said while remembering those two scenes.
"Alright, enough of that. It’s time to train, only if you are stronger can you beat those things. You probably didn’t realize but in this one month, your battle prowess has increased exponentially." She praised to lift his mood.
Neil could already use a large number of weapons, and his control over the primordial blades was on another level now.
"Today, I am going to go all out, show me how you are going to face someone at the 5th Origin, that too without using those blades of yours." She spoke.
Neil put the matter of the settlement to the back of his mind and focused.
He didn’t take out the blades. His body started to swell up and turn into some sort of fluid.
Hundreds of similar Neils appeared all around and it was really difficult to know which one was the real one.
"Here I come." Cinthia spoke with a faint smile.
Her body blurred, she moved with speed that Neil couldn’t even follow.
But his body actually blocked or dodged reflexively, as all the other slimes burst out and a palm headed towards his head.
He exploded into tiny drops that spread into the sky.
"Heh this trick of yours is not going to protect you always." Cinthia smiled.
The tattoos on her arms glowed faintly, then the space shook as faint lines spread in all directions.
Neil felt the deadly energy spreading, his body was materialized forcefully as the entire space exploded with tremendous force.
BOOOOM
He was thrown back, completely covered in wounds.
Moving quickly, he dodged another of her strikes. By the time he appeared in the sky, all his wounds were gone.
"Just what skill is it that heals your wounds so fast?" she asked in surprise, then disappeared again.
Neil felt a powerful blow land over his side, blasting his body away, she wasn’t even giving him time to breathe.
He could now tell how big of a difference between the two was.
It was as if Cinthia didn’t want him to think of anything else, she rained down attacks upon attacks.
Very soon, Neil lay on the ground completely exhausted, unable to move even his arms.
"Haa not bad, shall we rest now?" she spoke, helping him to stand and then the two walked towards the bathroom.
Within a few steps, Neil had regained some of his stamina and his injuries were healing quickly.

The training ended near evening, Neil had almost forgotten about the settlement’s problem amidst the torturing training.
After saying goodbye to her, Neil left the clash realm.
He returned to his domain, the sky looked the same as always, the two red moons covering the sun.
"Nemo, did you purchase the cameras?" Neil asked, walking out of the core room.
"No master, we are still not close enough to the link. At our current pace, we might arrive there by early morning probably." She replied.
Neil sighed, he had ordered for everyone to stay awake during the night even in the domain.
The domain was full of lights, everyone gathered around the campfire.
"Eli, nothing else happened right?" he asked, just to be sure.
Though Nemo reports everything anyway.
"No, everything is fine for now. Should we move our domain inside the settlement?" she asked.
"No, we will just do what we can to help them, I don’t want to put any of you at risk just to help some people I don’t even know." Neil said firmly.
He sat down near the campfire as well, yawning, the day was really tiring.
Not physically but mentally.
"Hubby, you can just sleep here, we can keep watch." Ileana spoke, patting her lap, asking him to put his head there.
"It’s fine, shall we eat?"
