Entering Apocalypse in Easy-Mode-Chapter 507: Surrounded Already
Chapter 507: Surrounded Already
High above the fragmented clouds of the Higher Realms, golden magic power stirred.
Radiant banners embroidered with holy runes unfurled in slow waves. Rows upon rows of winged warriors that sirvived the corruption stood at attention on the elevated battlements of floating fortresses. Their armor gleamed with sacred light.
The angel warriors sharpened their blazing spears while recited hymns of war that shook the air with pulsing force.
Massive constructs carved with glyphs stood motionless beside them waiting only the signal to awaken.
Chants filled the skies as sharpened invocations to rend and purify.
In the inner sanctums, the figures wrapped in light donned their armor in silence. The Archangels were gathered for the battle.
Their weapons hummed as if eager for blood of the anomalies. Their eyes looked from under their helmet with fury.
White flames began to fall from the sky like snow. A signal had appeared.
---
In the shifting magical barrier beyond the stars, the Celestial group gathered.
They emerged from across realms. Thunder crackled as the storm Celeatials raised their weqapons of lightning that kissed the edge of space.
A goddess cloaked in a thousand veils rode forth on a black Dragon. The Old Judge from a forgotten desert land adjusted his scales and shadows fled his gaze.
They moved like planets aligning. When they all gthered together like this their presence twisted the magic in reality.
Ancient weapons and artifact long sealed were unbound for this battle.
Their goal was singular. They want to erase the infection and restore the balance of their cosmos.
---
In the depths below of Hell realm where the skies were crimson and the earth burned black, the Demon Kings also getting ready.
Citadels made from flesh and iron shook as legions were summoned with drums made from bone.
Winged monstrosities roared into the air, circling above the palaces. Bells rang across the realms calling every faction of Hell to arms.
The Demon Kings rose from their palaces witn their armor and weapons.
One clenched his molten fists as armor of obsidian stitched itself onto his body like a second skin. Another dipped her blade into a pool of screaming lesser Demon, feeding the metal with agony. A third Demon Kings who cloaked in chains walked through rows of kneeling Demons. His presence making even the ground tremble.
They did not speak unity but they all knew what they were about to do.
For too long they had been held back. Now, the seals had been broken and they were working together.
The Archangels and tbe Celestials had opened the gates for war and the Demon Kings would not be left behind like beforr.
Their armies marched while howling and with numbers that seems endless. Driven by rage and same purpose.
The powers of all realms that left from the corruption were moving at once.
---
Morvius stepped forward.
In front of him now, stretching across the terrace of white and reinforced stone stood his elite forces of three hundred World Masters seasoned by countless Selection Stages and battles.
Their armor shimmered with enchanted metal. Some bore staffs, others wielded blades, guns, or relics that radiated power.
Behind them, the five hundred soldiers of the Bureau stood at rigid attention. They were.ewer in number than the other factions but untouched by the corruption that had swept through so many other forces so they were not losing too much.
Tey waited for only one voice to and them and that is Morvius.
He walked past the front line slowly. The air around him shimmered with pressure. His long white mantle flowed behind his armor that engraved with various sigils. He carried no weapon because he rely most on his magic power.
Silver lights of magic power swirled at his fingertips. His gaze swept over the assembled force and feeling satisfied.
This was not an army built to inspire shocking sight like the Celestials, or terror like the Demons. This was an army meant to end things when Morvius wanted it. He rarely dispatched them but this times was the right moment.
Still, a flicker of disappointment ran through him.
He had hoped to be the one to track Clyde down and rip the truth from him in person. But it was Bael who found them first. freёwebnoѵel.com
But it didn’t matter now.
Clyde and Asqa would be found and crushed beneath the unified heel of the higher realms. There would be no escape this time.
And then, the signal came.
A tremor rippled through the space above and the air tore itself open with violet and red light.
The massive portal shimmered with heat and dark energy. It was Bael’s portal revealing glimpses of the target world beyond.
The time had come.
Morvius turned to face his army, his voice amplified by layered magic.
"World Masters. Soldiers of the Bureau. You’ve been summoned to fight."
He raised a hand. "We march now!"
The portal surged wider.
A twisted grin crept onto his face as he faced the portal.
"Begin!"
And with that, Morvius walked forward as the first to cross into the portal.
Behind him, the World Masters moved.
---
In the darkened expanse of the Ruin, space warped and trembled as dozens of colossal portals tore open across the broken sky.
From them, the armies emerged.
Golden and silver light blazed as Archangels descended. Beside them, the Celestials coming out. And from another rift the Demon Kings surged with shrieking beasts and fire.
Together, they formed a vast unified force. All of them converging on one point which was the mansion that floated alone at the center of the Ruin’s suspended landmass.
The target had been found.
Inside that mansion, Asqa stood frozen at the window. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she saw the sky choked with wings, and banners, and fire.
They had come. All of them!
Her heart pounded hard. They were surrounded already.
Behind her, Clyde was still screaming. His body convulsing under the torment of the final phase of the soul forging.
Asqa clenched her fists.
They weren’t ready. But time had run out. She had to do something.
