Entangled in the Night: Unable to Escape Him-Chapter 160: Just Playing, Don’t Take It Seriously
Upon hearing this, Sienna scoffed, "Only a fool would believe your nonsense. They’re all my friends, and you’re not allowed to target them."
At this moment, Silas’s leg no longer hurt as he quickly rushed in front of Sienna.
His dark eyes were full of jealousy, "Sienna, they’re your friends, but what am I?"
Sienna’s tone was indifferent, "You’re nothing at all."
Silas wasn’t discouraged by this remark. Instead, he tugged at his collar, revealing an ambiguous bite mark.
"But last night, you clearly wouldn’t let go of me, Sienna. You can’t just walk away from this."
Sienna was so angry she gritted her teeth.
Just who had been clinging to whom last night, and now he flipped the narrative on her?
But with others around, she didn’t want to stoop to Silas’s level. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
She simply said nonchalantly, "Just a fling, why take it seriously."
Caden suddenly laughed upon hearing this.
"Did you hear that? Just a fling. Don’t think that after sleeping with her, you can control her."
Silas wasn’t angry. Instead, he looked at Sienna with passionate eyes and said softly, "Then how about I let you have your way with me for a lifetime? Whatever you want, I’m all yours."
His last words were whispered into Sienna’s ear.
The deep, magnetic voice was like a faint electric current, spreading from Sienna’s earlobe to her heart.
Her previously calm heart suddenly raced with panic.
Frightened, Sienna quickly pushed Silas away, "If you keep talking nonsense, I’ll never speak to you again."
As she spoke, her cheeks flushed involuntarily.
Seeing her like this, a satisfied smile appeared on Silas’s lips.
He nodded obediently, "Alright, I won’t say anymore. Now hurry and treat my wounds, those two were too rough. I’m practically disfigured."
He held Sienna’s hand and walked into a room. As they reached the door, he suddenly turned and gave Jett and Caden a smug look.
Caden clenched his fists in frustration, "When did he become like this?"
Jett snorted, "He’s always been like this, you just didn’t know."
"So what do we do now? Just let Sienna go with him? Treat her like a bird in a cage, with no freedom and no friends."
"If Sienna didn’t have any feelings left for Silas, we could forcibly take her away, protect her, and keep Silas away. But for now, it seems she still cares for him. We can only take it one step at a time and respect her choice."
Jett remembered what Sienna once said to him. Back when Chloe asked her if she would still fall for Silas if given a second chance, Sienna hadn’t answered.
That was enough to show that her feelings for Silas weren’t something she could easily sever.
In five years, both of them had grown a lot. Maybe they could deal with their relationship issues together.
——
A few days later, Sienna returned home with Silas.
Lucy Rhodes came to pick them up at the airport.
She had already received a call from Silas, telling her that Chloe was actually Sienna.
She cried all night upon hearing this.
Their Sienna wasn’t really dead, she really came back.
Just with a different face.
The moment she saw Sienna walk out of the crowd, Lucy Rhodes couldn’t hold back her suppressed emotions any longer.
She rushed to Sienna’s side, holding her and sobbing.
While crying, she shouted, "Sienna, is it really you? I thought I was dreaming, woo woo. As long as you’re alive, I don’t care what you look like. Sienna, I really missed you."
Sienna’s tears couldn’t help but fall as she gently stroked Lucy Rhodes’s head, her voice choked.
"Lucy, I’m sorry, forgive me for not recognizing you."
Lucy Rhodes shook her head fiercely, "I don’t blame you, you had your reasons. As long as you’re back, I’m happier than anything."
As the two hugged and wept, Lucy Rhodes suddenly felt someone grab her collar.
Just like a chick, Silas picked her up and moved her aside.
With good reason, he said, "You’re smearing your snot all over her. Isn’t it dirty?"
Lucy Rhodes sniffed several times, "Brother, I finally got to reunite with Sienna. Can’t you let me hug her a bit longer?"
Silas quickly embraced Sienna, "She’s mine, and no one else can touch her."
He spent five years finding her and hadn’t hugged her enough yet. How could he let someone else have her?
Sienna unceremoniously broke free from his embrace and, holding Lucy Rhodes’s hand, said, "Let’s go, ignore him."
Seeing the two blatantly walking away hand in hand, Silas gritted his teeth in anger.
He shouldn’t have brought Sienna back. He should’ve taken her to a deserted place and lived a world of just the two of them.
But now, Sienna was still in a phase of rejecting him, so he needed to awaken her with the warmth of family.
By the time they drove home, Old Master Prescott was already waiting in the courtyard.
Seeing Sienna step out of the car, the old man’s once cloudy eyes were filled with tears.
His lips couldn’t help but tremble.
An extremely hoarse voice came from his throat, "Sienna, is it really you?"
Hearing this call, all the emotions Sienna had suppressed over the years could no longer be contained.
From the moment she saw Grandpa Prescott sick, she felt very sorry.
She always felt she had let down the old man’s years of nurturing.
Quickly, Sienna walked up to the old man, knelt down with tears on her face, and looked at him, "Grandpa, I’m sorry."
Sorry for falling for the Prescott family’s heir back then, sorry for not repaying Grandpa’s nurturing grace over the years.
And sorry for not daring to recognize him even when they met.
Old Master Prescott quickly bent down to help Sienna up from the ground.
Tears had long filled his face.
"Sienna, as long as you’re alive, Grandpa’s happy. Hurry up, let’s go inside and talk."
Crying, Sienna said, "Grandpa, it’s all my fault for making you worry about me all these years."
"Silly child, what are you saying? Ever since your grandpa entrusted you to me, I’ve treated you like my own granddaughter. I believe you had no choice but to leave. Grandpa won’t blame you. Come on, let’s go inside. Grandpa had your favorite dishes prepared."
Sienna supported the old man inside, and as Silas tried to assist from the other side, Old Master Prescott sternly rebuked him.
"Stay out of it, I don’t need your help."
Silas laughed, "I found Sienna for you. Instead of thanking me, why are you scolding me?"
Old Master Prescott snorted, "Don’t think I don’t know why Sienna left back then. Go kneel and reflect in the ancestral hall. No one is allowed to give him food without my order."
