Chapter 111: Chapter 111: He Means Nothing to Chloe Nash

Chase Hughes saw how angry he was, gritting his teeth, and couldn’t help but add fuel to the fire.

"Hey, Silas, isn’t that Dr. Nash? Who’s that handsome guy next to her, quite cheerful-looking, and his smile is quite charming."

Silas Prescott was so angry that the corners of his mouth twitched. He glared coldly at Chase Hughes: "Get an eye exam tomorrow and see if you’re going blind."

Chase Hughes smirked: "My eyes are fine, both are 20/20. Look, isn’t Chloe Nash smiling happily? I’ve never seen her smile like that. My impression of her has always been aloof and distant, completely different from how she is now."

"I can see it; I don’t need your description."

Silas Prescott opened the car door and got out, striding inside with a detached air.

The waiter saw them coming and immediately approached, asking, "President Prescott, your private room is ready. Please follow me."

"A man and a woman came in earlier. Which private room did they enter?"

The waiter thought for a moment and asked, "Is it the particularly beautiful girl wearing a plaid shirt and jeans and the handsome man in a suit with a good physique?"

Upon hearing these words, Silas Prescott frowned tightly: "I didn’t ask for a description, just tell me which room they’re in."

"Room 308. Are you with them?"

"Yes."

"Do you still need your room to be kept?"

"Cancel it."

As Silas Prescott spoke, he was already entering the elevator.

Chase Hughes gave the waiter a smile: "Don’t mind him, he’s just eaten a lot of vinegar and is feeling sour now."

He quickly caught up with Silas Prescott: "You don’t intend to crash their meal, do you? Chloe Nash is on a date; it’s not appropriate for us to butt in."

Silas Prescott gave him a cold glance: "You’re free not to come. You can leave now."

Chase Hughes was startled and surrendered: "I’m in, as long as there’s food, it doesn’t matter where I eat."

Chloe Nash and Caden Sinclair were sitting together, looking at the menu.

Their heads were very close together.

Chloe Nash pointed to a dish on the menu and asked, "You should try this, Stinky Mandarin Fish, a specialty here."

Caden Sinclair furrowed his brows at her: "Taking me to eat something stinky when you’re treating me? Don’t I deserve something good?"

Chloe Nash chuckled: "It’s not stinky; it’s very fragrant, more than fried stinky tofu."

"Don’t try to fool me. It’s been hard for me to return home; I should enjoy something I can’t get abroad. This braised pork, the spicy crab castle, and this one and this one."

Caden Sinclair ordered many dishes, prompting Chloe Nash to ask, "Just the two of us, we can’t finish this. You’re not going to waste food just to mess with me, are you?"

Caden Sinclair tapped Chloe Nash on the head: "You gave me such a big task, I should at least get a good meal out of it."

Their playful banter was perfectly timed as Silas Prescott walked in.

He saw Chloe Nash smiling at a man and the man affectionately tapping Chloe Nash’s head.

They were sitting so close together.

Silas Prescott’s intense sense of possession erupted at that moment.

He wished he could immediately rush over and beat the man up, then warn him.

Chloe Nash is his; stay away from her.

But he feared that doing so would scare Chloe Nash away.

Right now, to Chloe Nash, he was nothing, not even a friend.

At most, he was just a relative of a patient, Julian Prescott’s father.

What right did he have to impose on Chloe Nash?

Thinking of this, Silas Prescott forcibly suppressed the anger in his heart, his face returning to its usual gentle demeanor.

He knocked on the door, very politely saying, "Dr. Nash, what a coincidence?"

Chloe Nash looked up and saw the depths of Silas Prescott’s fathomless black eyes.

Her heart couldn’t help but tremble.

The shadows from years ago made her feel terrified.

It was as if every time she went out with classmates, she got caught by Silas Prescott, making her just as nervous.

Caden Sinclair saw her like this, leaned over, and whispered in her ear: "Don’t be afraid, you’re Chloe Nash now, he won’t do anything to you."

Chloe Nash immediately calmed down, giving Silas Prescott a slight smile: "President Prescott, eating here too?"

Silas Prescott shamelessly replied: "I wanted to eat here, but all the private rooms are booked. Dr. Nash, would you mind if we join you?"

Chloe Nash: I’m not buying that for a second; there were clearly rooms available when they came earlier.

But she didn’t expose Silas Prescott, somewhat apologetically saying, "I’m with a friend, it might be inconvenient."

Hearing this, Silas Prescott couldn’t help but sneer internally.

It took him days to arrange a dinner with her, but they finally scheduled it for tomorrow.

Yet, this man asked her out, and she instantly had time.

This woman always had a double standard towards him.

But Silas Prescott showed nothing on his face and directly approached Caden Sinclair, politely extending his hand.

"Hello, Silas Prescott. May I know your name?"

Caden Sinclair saw his posture and sensed hostility.

He smiled and said, "Caden Sinclair, a friend who would risk his life for Chloe Nash."

With that one sentence, the emotions Silas Prescott repressed erupted instantly.

Chloe Nash not only had a gentle husband like Albie Kane, who was willing to break with his family for her, but now another friend willing to risk everything for her.

Then what was he?

If she were Sienna Paxton, he could legitimately claim to be her brother, still her most beloved person.

But he didn’t yet have definitive proof that she was Sienna Paxton.

In the identity of Chloe Nash, he meant nothing to her.

The more Silas Prescott thought, the angrier he became, squeezing Caden Sinclair’s hand tighter.

With a forced smile, he said, "Mr. Sinclair can risk it all, so surely wouldn’t mind sharing a table with us."

After saying this, he unapologetically sat down next to Chloe Nash.

Chloe Nash only felt a headache coming on.

She had planned to discuss with Caden Sinclair about finding her son.

Now, everything was disrupted by Silas Prescott.

She glanced at Caden Sinclair and softly asked: "Do you want to order anything else?"

Caden Sinclair shook his head: "That’s enough, let them order."

Chloe Nash handed the menu to Silas Prescott: "You two, go ahead and order. We’ve already decided."

Silas Prescott glanced at the menu, feeling greatly aggrieved inside.

Inviting someone to dinner, why order so much?

When she treated him, it was only pizza and burgers, barely over a hundred.

But now, treating this man to such a good meal.

The flames of jealousy in Silas Prescott’s eyes burned fiercer and fiercer.

He lowered his eyelashes to look at the menu, ordering every signature dish of the restaurant.

Chase Hughes watched his extravagant move, unable to resist softly reminding him: "Big guy, who are you retaliating against? Don’t forget, we’re sharing the table, going Dutch, understand?"

Silas Prescott cast a cold eye at him: "Do I look like someone who can’t afford a meal?"

"You don’t. You’re rich, you’re capricious, I’m just here to eat with you."

Chase Hughes made a zipping motion on his lips.
