The dagger in his right hand vanished. He raised his hands, fire rapidly sparking across his palms. His frame glitched through reality, leaving embers in his wake, and he appeared right next to the thick fortress wall. Without hesitation, he slammed his palm against the stone.

Explosive power erupted from his hands, violently cracking the sturdy stone.

"I was just testing it out," Caelus rolled his eyes.

He eyed the dead classmate; it was a blessing in disguise. He’d snagged a C-Rank explosive talent. Maybe he’d become a kung fu master and blow enemies away with a single punch.

Clearing his thoughts, he moved to the next body.

Next was Lara. She was dissolving into digital light. She used to mock him constantly, yet look at her now.

"Let’s see what you have," Caelus replied, his gaze guarded.

"It is not about what I have, but what you desire," Allstar smiled like a cunning businessman. "Whatever you need, I can provide. An Armor Diffusion Device? A Race Awakening Stone to unlock your hidden racial abilities?"

Caelus’s interest spiked. Those were exactly what he desperately needed. "Do you have Animus Spirit inscription blueprints too? I need Arc-Weavers and Golems."

"Done. 1,000 Origin Credits each. Deal?"

"Deal." Caelus stored the two glowing patterns and asked for the Armor Diffusion Device.

"Another 1,000 Origin Credits." Allstar accepted the currency, then eyed Caelus calculatingly. "As for the Race Awakening Stone... I cannot simply hand that over for mere credits. Your specific race is far too powerful. As payment, you must clear some real-world dungeons for me."

"What? Dungeons?" Caelus was baffled.

His vision cleared, placing him back in his dorm room. But as soon as he arrived, he froze.

A familiar girl with sharp fangs and glowing blood-red eyes was staring directly at him with a possessed, hungry look and she just so happened to be right on top of him.

"You are finally back, Caelus. I have been waiting."
