Emperor's Domination (Web Novel)-Chapter 6454: Longevity Grass
Chapter 6454: Longevity Grass
“What’s wrong?” Li Qiye smiled.
“Not your style.” He responded.
“How so?” Li Qiye asked.
“No early rise without benefits. You wouldn’t do something for nothing.” He said with the word “disbelief” written on his face.
“What benefit am I getting from you?” Li Qiye smiled.
“Well, nothing, you have everything you need and what I have, you can obtain easily too.” He said.
“See, nothing’s going on here outside of my sincerity. At the very least, I’ll be kind enough to be at your funeral in the future.” Li Qiye said.
“Pah, it’s fishy when these words are coming out of your mouth. Others might not be aware but I know you too well.” He said.
“I can’t drive away the suspicion even when I’m trying to be a nice guy without any ulterior motive.” Li Qiye smiled wryly.
“I don’t think you’re a nice guy at all.” The skull jumped in.
“Yes, this is a trap.” The man added.
“As people say, filial piety is a part of life, that’s what I’m doing here.” Li Qiye said.
“Hahaha, ghosts are more real than the words that come out of your mouth.” He laughed.
“Hurtful.” Li Qiye sighed and lowered his hands dejectedly.
“Just reveal your goal.” He insisted.
“Just uniting your three souls so that you won’t have to spend more time in this dream. Nothing else.” Li Qiye said.
“No, that’s not it, there’s something else.” He said.
“Not right now, unless you want to go to Heavenrealm.” Li Qiye stroked his chin.
“Why?” He had a bad feeling about this.
“Don’t be so tense.” Li Qiye said: “You already gave up on everything including life, don’t tell me you’re afraid of a trip to Heavenrealm.”
“If I go out of my own volition, then it’s no big deal since the worst is just death.” He uttered coldly: “But if it’s your plan, that’s a different story.”
“Fine, don’t go, I was just casually speaking. Do whatever you want, I don’t have an issue with it.” Li Qiye said.
“And it’s useless if I agree, I’m only one of three. The other two souls might not comply.” He said.
“I can just forcefully take everyone to Heavenrealm, I don’t need anyone’s permission if I want to.” Li Qiye said.
“That is true.” He agreed.
“That’s why if I had any malice, I would have crushed everything back in Longevity Hall, not giving you a chance to be brought here by the two idiots.” Li Qiye said.
He had no response.
“While it’s true that you are different than him, you still shoulder everything he left behind.” Li Qiye continued.
“Yes, damn it, is this fate?” He sighed.
“Not quite because you still have control over who you become, either a useless person, Splendor Monarch enjoying the world’s riches, or an undying old geezer.” Li Qiye said.
“Where’s the Longevity Grass?” He asked.
“You want to return to the nine worlds then, or rather Eight Desolaces?” Li Qiye smiled.
“Hmm...” He pondered: “Who do you want me to become?”
“I haven’t thought about it since it’s your matter.” Li Qiye said.
“Then why the focus on gathering my souls?” He said angrily.
“Just to see if you want to. I have done and said what I should. As the saying goes, a sick person has no filial children by their bedside, and my patience is limited.” Li Qiye said.
“Patience is your strongest virtue.” He said.

“Well, time waits for no one. I might last long enough but not you.” Li Qiye said.
“Okay, okay, then we will go with your plan. If you want the souls to return, so be it.” He ruminated carefully before giving up.
“Was that so hard?” Li Qiye smiled.
“But going to Heavenrealm is out of the question, absolutely not.” He said coldly.
“You can go anywhere you want, staying here is fine, or Eight Desolaces and Heavenrealm.” Li Qiye said.
“I have a choice?” He asked.
“Of course, you will make all the decisions regarding yourself, not me.” Li Qiye said.
“Haha, hard to say, I’m easily persuaded.” He shook his head.
“That’s the funniest joke I’ve ever heard.” Li Qiye couldn’t help but laugh.
“It’s not funny at all.” He said coldly: “I suppose I can be persuaded to go to Heavenrealm...”
“Stop right there.” Li Qiye waved and interrupted: “I’m not taking the blame for this. I’m not telling you to go.”
“Hmph, maybe you hadn’t thought of it before but I’m sure you’re thinking about it now.” He sneered.
“Sigh, unjustly blamed once more, it’s a cruel time we live in.” Li Qiye smiled helplessly.
“I know you better than anyone. There’s a reason why you want me to go there.” He said.
“Just don’t go.” Li Qiye said.
“As I said, I’m a soft-hearted person and just one of three souls. I’ll listen to you.” He took a moment before staring at Li Qiye.
