Dungeon Raider System-Chapter 200: The swallow chief
Now that Nika brought up the fact that there weren’t any female soldiers on sight things took a 180° turn. While it was true that the soldiers were safe and seemed to be enjoying themselves to the point of not even caring to acknowledge the presence of the newly arrived hunters, the same couldn’t be said about the female soldiers who now were missing.
"Do you think they’re dead or... worse?" Nika asked seriously.
"I can’t think of anything." Uriel replied.
"Well, think harder because I’m starting to lose my shit!"
Nika herself couldn’t think of anything else than trying to ask Ethan, but at the same time, he didn’t want to even look at him. Although Ethan was usually a very composed person with a strong presence, he was now the embodiment of lust and his attention was fully occupied by two air spirit women.
"Hey, pervert!" Uriel didn’t share Nika’s reluctance and he kicked the man on the head with all of his might, though he didn’t use Dash nor his blessing and it resulted in a hit that barely managed to snap Ethan out of it.
"You!? Why are you spying on me!? Are you one of those guys who likes to watch?" Ethan asked, though Uriel didn’t even bother answering. Experience tales with novelbuddy
"Where are the women?"
"They’re here, can’t you see?"
"I mean the soldier women!"

"Huh?" Ethan seemed shocked for a second but one of the air spirit women besides him started singing into his ear and the light on his eyes faded.
"They’re hypnotized! Don’t let them sing near you!" Uriel warned his team. "We need to escape from here, it’s not safe!"
"It doesn’t look that bad." Sam said, but nothing was further away from the truth and Uriel realized it, though it was already too late as the strident sound of a myriads of birds came from above and a rapacious creature snagged Janett from the group, then it was Luna’s turn and finally, Nika too was taken by a male air spirit man.
Their movements were swift and coordinated, their talons were as strong as the maws of a monster level cryptid but, worse of all, without any cover, they were left defenseless. Fortunately for Nika, she was still able to activate her trait and she blinked right next to where Uriel was located.
"You dumbwit! Let them take you!" Uriel shook off a frightened Nika who was clasping to his arm with so much force it hurt.
"You’re insane! I’ve seen enough of those movies to know how it will end."
"You can always escape and tell us where you are, but Luna..."
"Luna!" Nika gazed at the sky and saw Luna disappear at the far distance. She then rose her arms at the sky and let herself be taken by a male birdman cryptid that even Nika couldn’t deny was very attractive.
"Are you sure it’s safe?" Sam asked Uriel, now that they were alone. The only other hunters were Ethan and Shaker, but the former was hypnotized and the latter was still unconscious.
"Safe? No, they’ll probably do the same to them, but what choice do we have?"
"How can you be so calm, you heartless monster!? You just sent Nika to be defiled by those creatures!" Sam cried.
"You were begging to be defiled just a couple minutes ago and they already took Luna and Janett. Besides, you should have seen them coming from far away, but you were too busy looking at them." Uriel said calmly and then pointed at the lustful scene all around them.
Sam lowered his gaze for a few seconds in shame, as much as he hated it, he had to admit that he could have warned them. Nevertheless, he had the gall to call him a heartless monster without even thinking on his own responsibility, but there wasn’t any time for sulking as they needed to catch up to the girls before something terrible happened to them.

After getting caught by the air spirit people, the three huntress were taken to the highest ’floating island’ on sight. Contrary to the humble straw huts, all the buildings were made of polished stone and in the middle stood a circle of pillars with a lavish throne at its center.
Janett screamed all the way and tried, unsuccessfully, to release herself. Nika, instead, tried to reassure both of her companions that everything was going to be alright even though she didn’t believe it herself, but Luna’s case was completely different.
Luna let herself be carried without fighting back, without crying or screaming, she simply hung limp like a wet noodle and in spite of the short duration of their trip, she even fell asleep. Caws, twitters and squawks were heard all around them and Nika wondered how could Luna be able to sleep in such circumstances.
It wasn’t until the birdman cryptid that was carrying Luna landed that she woke up and she yawned and stretched like she used to do back home.
"Luna, are you alright? Don’t worry, I’ll protect you!" Nika anxiously stated thinking on how Luna would soon lose her innocence in an awful way.
"Uhm, I’m fine. Don’t need protection."
"Poor girl, she’s lost her mind!" Janett cried. Both women hugged Luna from each side in an attempt to protect her. "I’m not much of a fighter but I won’t let anything happen to you!"
Contrary to their expectations, the birdmen took some distance from them and then emitted an ominous sound that was different to anything they’ve heard before. It was like a choir of angelic voices that resembled human speech, but it was impossible to make anything out of it.
It gave a feeling similar to those who listen to opera for the first time and could not identify the language being spoken, only that it sounded beautiful.
"Don’t fight." Was all Luna managed to say when a man much bigger than the rest of the flock landed by the throne and proceeded to sit on it. It’s wingspan had to be at least three times bigger than the rest of them and both Janett and Nika couldn’t help but ogle him with desire. He was the most dazzling man they’ve ever seen and they gulped down their saliva at the same time.
Luna’s eyes glinted in excitement, though for a completely different reason. "He’s the swallow chief."
