Dungeon Overlord: Monster Girl Harem!-Chapter 135: The Goblin Council Rises
Leonhardt watched the female goblin whisper amongst the others, waiting quietly. He snapped his fingers, and a copy of his throne appeared.
The moment he sat down, many of the goblins made a sound of awe.
"I love these goblins..." he muttered, but then his eyes widened. "Griv!? I forgot him!"
(Don't worry, he's having the time of his life.)
[Zafira also gave him a dungeon stone in secret.]
Ifrit blocked out Dravanna's excited voice before she gave Leonhardt another report on how amazing his dungeon mistress was.
'Zafira... Zafira... Nobody does it like Zafira.'
He observed the goblins, their expressions, body language and how they spoke to the female whom he forgot to name.
Finally, she turned back to face Leonhardt and stepped forward before getting down on her knees and bowing to him.
"Dear Master, he who gives us a wonderful life. We have decided to accept whatever you choose, and adore your divine affection. Our beloved King."
(She's laying it on thick... for a goblin!)
[This girl has talent—her diplomatic and speaking skills are amazing!]
Leonhardt used Dravanna's raw responses and Ifrit's careful and considerate comments to guide him, but in the end. It would fall upon his desire to choose and govern the goblins as their Dungeon Master and King.
'I want to be more king-like to them...' He thought, then tapped his voice box and adjusted his voice.
"May I ask if you have a name, young goblin." Leonhardt spoke in a lower, more elegant tone.
She shuddered, her lips curling into a deep, reverent smile while pressing her face to the ground and called out. "I have no name, but some call me Gobulina!"
Because he wanted to reward her, Leonhardt decided to give her a name.
His right hand tapped the red rune on his throat, opening the monster management panel in his system. It flashed for a few moments after he tapped the small tool icon.
"From this moment forth, since you are Gobulina, let your nickname be Lina. The first head of the Goblin council and its speaker."

Immediately after his words, Lina's body hovered off the ground, her limbs trembling as a pure black flame wrapped her body, and she evolved... the item he used allowing a goblin to develop into a Leader-Type class.
Her body became tanned, a beautiful, silky brown sun touched with golden brown hair, and a gorgeous face with the features of a goblin.
Fangs.
Sharp green or yellow eyes,
Short and stumpy pointed ears.
A short height, barely reaching 5ft 4 inches.
But her body was lean, with muscles a human wouldn't have, but at the cost of a flat or smaller chest, though her waist was thin and her hips were wide.
[How did you make another race!?]
(Oooh~ it seems they got my blessing!)
The Ebonfire goblins were, as Dravanna said, because of Leonhardt's excess desire. He bore a second race of goblins, their sun-touched appearance beautiful and more charming, but they lacked the large frame of the Embervale goblins.
"Lina, you are the first of your kind. A special and worthy member of my dungeon."
"M-Master... I am, I can give birth!?" Lina's voice trembled, the biggest issue of goblins in the dungeon, they were tools and couldn't give birth.
Although overjoyed, her face twisted as if fearful of something, "Master... but what if..." she dropped lower, rubbing her head against the ground, the alluring sight of the goblin's rump causing Leonhardt to avert his gaze.
"Enough, I know what you fear. Teach your children well, and if they seek to leave the dungeon, then I will create a kingdom for your kind to live freely, without submitting to my control..." Leonhardt looked back, unable to resist her jiggling hips.
"Lina, this is my vision."
Though the skill [Zealot] worried him, he decided to be honest.
"All of you, I want you to choose five people who are good at things other than combat."
Leonhardt gazed across the hundreds of goblins who tilted their heads, then looked around, and fingers started being pointed.
A blacksmith.
A herbalist/alchemist
A study
A money-loving goblin.
"I see... step forward, you!" he pointed to the thin, wiry-looking goblin that reminded him of Griv and tapped his throne.
"Who are you?"
"M-Master... Snaggle is Snaggle!"
The way of speaking was similar to Griv's, but a bit more active, and his eyes shone like golden coins—this goblin was apparently a money-loving goblin.
"Henceforth, Snaggle, you shall be the Minister of Wealth. All gold shall be under your care, little goblin."
Like with Lina, his body wrapped in a black flame, his skin became darker and more sun-kissed, but his face gained a slight trace of elegance, and he wasn't bad looking for a goblin, at least.
"Y-Your Majesty! I will fill our coffers with the most beautiful shining gems and gold!"
Snaggle's voice became more focused, easy to understand, and most of all, his golden eyes lost the milky surface and became sharp, bright and vivid.
[Snaggle]

"Phew... it seems the women are stronger," Leonhardt muttered as he tossed a huge sack of gold and gemstones from his adventures and earnings from the dungeon. "Use this for the dungeon, use your skills to grow a business set in the outpost."
"Y-Yes, My King! Haha, Shiny coins~" Snaggle hopped on the spot and stood beside Lina, who glared at him like a wild beast.
The third member was unique for a goblin, shorter and more muscular like a dwarf masquerading as a goblin. He looked at Leon with a sharp and aggressive gaze, holding a stone hammer and apron, and he grunted.
"Hn!"
[This goblin's throat seems damaged.]
"Huh?"
That's when Leonhardt noticed the thick scars across his throat, lizard scars... likely a survivor of the attack in the north.
However, he didn't bring that up, and instead, he asked a simple question.
"Do you love forging weapons?"
He gazed back with a stern look and nodded with another growl. "Hnn!"
"Do you love your goblin brothers and sisters?"
The blacksmith looked around, nodding with several grunts sometimes high-pitched, and others low and with a slight vibration, seeming to be a chuckle. He faced Leonhardt with a resolute gaze and nodded once.
"HN!"
"Then from this day forth, you are Hanz, the minister of Craftsmanship. All things created in our kingdom will follow your rules and creed." Leonhardt spoke with a soft and gentle voice before taking out an item that was stored in the dungeon vault.
Hanz looked stunned, his eyes focused on the item.
Leonhardt held the curved sword with a sharp blade, swinging it twice. Woosh Swish!
"Amazing!" He called out, the words causing Hanz to freeze.
The King of goblins acknowledged his work!
Immediately after, the black flames wrapped around the short goblin, he didn't grow much taller, even shorted than Lina, but his muscles became thicker, his eyes bigger and more vivid and clear... his black hair in a mohawk and moustache looked awesome.
But the biggest change.
"M...Master... Master...!?" A strained, unfamiliar voice, low and gruff, like a mining pick dragging along minerals.
Hanz spoke for the first time, and his entire form trembled as he dropped to his knees, manly tears of iron ore dripping from his eyes.
[Hanz]

Hanz became calm, the emotions sealed within his fiery eyes, causing Leonhardt to smirk, though another Fanatical goblin appeared. Lina guided Hanz to the group with Snaggle, who looked terrified of her.
"Now then..."
Two female goblins trembled, their eyes different colours, one... with verdant green pupils and covered in dirt, her hands and clothes filled with the scent of the earth, even her hair was green.
The other was a little strange, shy and hiding behind the first while holding a thick human book and the appearance of these shocked him.
"Forgive me, Master, these two are sisters... summoned at the same time."
"Thanks, Lina." Leonhardt winked at the pretty goblin.
Thankfully, this wasn't the goblin Griv loved, and he would let Griv be the one to help evolve Goblina... who seemed to be a close friend of Gobulina.
"I will grant you both names and titles."
"!!!"
"..."
The green-haired girl looked bored—her hands dug into her apron, while the other goblin with glasses looked ashamed.
"First, Mossi, you will be the Minister of Growth... all things related to the ground and alchemy are your domain."
"Nebi, I entrust you with knowledge, as the scribe and librarian of the council, will you help me keep records of everything?"
Both goblins looked at Leonhardt with wide eyes before the black flames wrapped around the pair.
Mossi grew taller, with a slim body and her hair draped to her ankles, soft, silky and green like the roots of a tree, but stronger than a rock wall. Long fingers and an elegant and humanoid figure, she looked like a goddess of fertility with wide hips and bountiful breasts and a tribal dress wrapped around her figure.
Verdant eyes glowing with a magical hue.
Nebi's figure contorted, twisting into a calm and modest figure, her fingers long, delicate, but deft, and her brown eyes became deeper and larger with a messy brown bob down to her shoulders.
"Your Highness...!" Nebi spoke first, her small glasses hanging on the end of her nose. "Thank you so much!"
Meanwhile, Mossi knelt and touched the ground. "I can feel... their desires, the ground is excited and satisfied." She then looked up at Leonhardt as her eyes flashed with a green shimmer. "My King, I will serve you well."
Leonhardt nodded with a wide smile, Lina taking the other two girls and lining them up and then looked up at him with her wet eyes.
"Master, what is next?"

"All of you, decide a trade, something you want to do and Lina, you are the one that will tell me their choices, organising them into groups so I can grant their wishes to the best of my ability." He paused, then leaned on his palm with a faint smile. "Do you understand?"
"YESH!" Lina shouted, before covering her mouth, and muttering something to herself... but Leonhardt didn't mind.
He closed his eyes and waved the goblins away. "Go, I will call for you tomorrow. Lina."
'This is the first step...'
