Dumped A Scumbag At The Altar For A One Night Stand With A Billionaire-Chapter 56: Tear Her Apart
Commenter 1: [Oh my God, I can’t believe this!!! Turns out our innocent looking Celine is actually a homewrecking vixen? She even had the nerve to seduce Ethan, he already has a wife, how could she do something so shameless? That man in bed with her might be someone’s husband as well, how disgusting!!!]
Commenter 2: [I’ve never really liked her anyway, she just has this pretentious face. No one should fall for fake women like her, they just appear beautiful and delicate but in truth, they are actually man seducing demons.]
Commenter 3: [Ugh! Now she’s destroyed the image of my favorite character Anelia, I’ll never be able to watch that movie again, seeing her face will just remind me of what a horrible person she is. Good thing Ian Rode didn’t marry her, he would have been tainted by her dirty character. I never want to see her face in any movie ever again, I hope they kick her out of the entertainment industry!]
Commenter 4: [It’s a bit harsh to kick her out of the entertainment industry, we don’t know the full story yet, let’s try not to make judgements yet if we don’t have a full grasp of the situation. Have you wondered why the man’s face is blurred in those pictures? If Celine is such a homewrecking bitch then why can’t they show the face of the man as well?]
Commenter 3: [Hahaha, I can’t believe there are still people trying to gaslight themselves so they won’t see her flaws. Celine Roberts isn’t a good person and she doesn’t deserve to be a star.]
Commenter 1: [What else do we need when there’s proof here? The man’s face doesn’t matter when we’re clearly seeing Celine’s face here. People like you continue to allow the world to tolerate disgusting sh*t like this. That woman shouldn’t be defended, that man she left at the altar is so lucky he didn’t end up married to her.]
Comments like these and more filled the internet and soon, those posts about her blew up. Talk shows instantly made their topics about her, and discussions cropped up about her, dissecting and analyzing her from her history to the very moment she ran away from the wedding painting an image of a selfish attention loving, drama seeking woman who had no intentions of marrying Ian right from the start but only played him on to draw attention and publicity to herself.
People felt cheated, betrayed by someone they had once considered pure and sweet. They expressed their anger and disgust towards her, a lot of her fans had now turned her biggest haters overnight while her most loyal fans who didn’t quite believe the origins of such a news were drowned out in the crowd as no one gave them a chance to even try to defend her.
However, the person in question had absolutely no idea about the news circulating about her. She’d come out In the morning to go shopping for groceries and hadn’t gotten the chance to watch the morning news or even see a hint of the situation online.
Celine had noticed that her manager was calling her relentlessly that morning but she had decided not to pick up because she thought Elise would continue to convince her to sign the contract with Divine Media again. She might have been pushing back the contract signing for a long time but she wasn’t yet sure how long she could continue to give Elise excuses without actually revealing her pregnancy.
As usual, Celine had worn a facial mask and a baseball cap to conceal her appearance while she shopped, but after paying for her items and walking out of the supermarket, a cold feeling suddenly creeped up her spine.
Celine stopped short mid placing her things in the trunk of her car. The sudden chill she’d felt was from a pair of eyes watching her from somewhere. Celine turned her head here and there trying to look for the source of such malicious gaze she felt just now but the parking lot was empty, this early there weren’t many people out shopping yet, in fact there wasn’t anyone to be seen in this very moment at all.
A cool breeze blew some stray autumn leaves on the floor, because she was alert, Celine’s face was immediately drawn to that direction that was when she sighted a girl standing against the wall a small distance away watching her intently.
She looked to be in her early twenties dressed in a pair of shorts and a tank top.
Was she the person whose gaze made her feel uneasy just now?
Celine had never seen the girl before, there wasn’t even a hint of familiarity, hence she couldn’t tell why a strange girl would look at her with such sheer malice.
The girl was unfamiliar, hence Celine ignored the uneasy thought.
Maybe her senses were too acute this morning, maybe she was reading into things too deeply.
It was impossible she was recognized when her face was still completely covered up.
Either way, Celine decided it was best she got out of there and went home, no matter how much she tried to calm her mind, her senses were tingling with a strange sense of danger.
However, just before she walked around to the driver’s side of the car, she heard sudden approaching footsteps, before she could fully turn to see the girl who had been standing quite far away was now next to her grabbing her by the arm making her cap fall off.
Her blue eyes clashed with the girl’s angry dark eyes as the girl narrowed her eyes looking at Celine before her eyes suddenly lit up in recognition.
That sudden arrival made Celine’s blood freeze up in a mixture of fear and shock.
"Hey everyone, it’s really her! It’s that bitch Celine Roberts!" The girl yelled to a certain direction where a few more girls just about her age some even younger seemingly in their late teens rushed out from there all staring venomously at her each carrying baskets in their hands which contained things Celine couldn’t see but there was a dead and rotten smell drifting in the air which seemed to be coming from those baskets.
What was going on?
Celine’s eyes fearfully took in the small crowd, the uneasy feeling growing stronger within her with each passing moment, she was suddenly reminded of the security team of guards she had dismissed in the past thinking she didn’t have to worry about safety if she moved unrecognized.
She regretted that in this very moment.
"Who are you?" Celine asked the angry young woman wondering what sort of enmity they had with her.
The girl scoffed. "You should answer that question bitch! Who the hell do you think you are going around so freely after what you’ve done?"
"Don’t talk to her, let’s just teach her a good lesson." Someone yelled from the crowd of young women behind.
Their eyes...
Celine took in the way they all looked at her one after the other...they oozed so much fury and hatred, it almost felt as if...as if they were ready to tear her apart on the spot.
