Dumped A Scumbag At The Altar For A One Night Stand With A Billionaire-Chapter 127: Seven Days
"I’m sorry, all of us here misunderstood. So Miss Roberts is actually your fiancee." A conversation nearby traveled through the air, along with a steady set of approaching footsteps coming in his direction.
The name Miss Roberts caused Tristan’s steps to halt.
Fiancee?
He turned around as a nurse and a man walked past him.
That man...he was the exact person Tristan had seen in the picture Kaleb just showed to him.
"Don’t worry Mr Grant, your daughter will be absolutely fine. Thankfully we found a donor on time..." The nurse’s voice echoed away as the two people in front of him turned a corner.
A sharp ache, and a deep surge of possessiveness rose in his chest.
So she had actually been with someone else after him? Here he was, five years and not a day passed by without her thoughts crossing his mind, her body had branded his own and he could no longer crave anyone else... she’d been with someone else and conceived a child?
It felt as if fire was burning in his chest, he wanted to storm up into the ward, look into her eyes and have her tell him herself, have her tell him that yes, he’d been easy to forget, so easy to forget she met someone else and completely forgot about him, and no matter how much he tried to make himself not believe it, he had blocked her off or any word of her for five years, whatever else happened in her life after...he had no right to question her.
Tristan stood in the same spot for a few seconds, a look of confusion swirling in his eyes.
There seemed to be proof that the child wasn’t his, yet something inside him didn’t want to fully believe it. Some things did add up and other things didn’t, he would have to find out for himself.
Looking in the direction of the pediatric ward for a moment longer, Tristan turned around walking away with Kaleb in tow as he gave strict instructions.
"Get some of the girl’s blood samples from the lab for DNA testing."
"Yes president."

When Celine returned to Leah’s ward, she was shocked to find someone unexpected waiting with a bouquet of flowers and a teddy bear by the side of the bed.
He lifted his gaze upon her entrance and a bright smile lit up his handsome face.
"Julian?"
"Oh good, you actually know him. I was beginning to think he was lying when he walked in here claiming to be your fiancee." Natalia remarked, giving the strange man another once over.
He was tall, standing at about six foot two in height, he had very attractive features as well, it made Natalia wonder where Celine had met him and how the hell he suddenly became her so called fiancee.
"I came as soon as I could, are you okay?" He walked up to her, gazing into her face with concern.
"How did you..."
"How did I know you were here?" He cut her off, finishing off the question half way. "Immediately Mom came to know I found you, she wouldn’t give me a moment’s rest. You never contacted me since then, so I took matters into my own hands and went searching, my sources informed of the unfortunate accident and I came straight here."
"You mean to say you stalked me here?" Celine’s voice came out somewhat weak.
She hated it when people looked into her, it further reminded her of the fact that anyone could look into her and find out secrets she meant to hide. Letting out a sigh, she glanced at the man before her momentarily before walking towards her daughter.
She didn’t have the energy for anything else. Not to address the man who had suddenly invited himself into her life, or correct the fact that the past promise between their mothers had been nothing to take seriously. He wasn’t her fiancee.
Leah needed her more than anything else, and she couldn’t settle her thoughts on other matters but her daughter, but somewhere at the back of her mind she continued to remember seeing nothing but Tristan’s back as he walked away.

"Your tea, Miss Williams." A maid placed a tray of tea down on a glass table, bowing lightly to the woman sitting on the sofa before she took a step backwards.
Erica’s sharp eyes lifted up to the maid, a trace of displeasure in her gaze.
As the wife of the assigned heir to the Blakewood family, the way the staff at this estate addressed her needed to change.
They should no longer just call her Miss Williams, the word mistress sounded better. But she quickly tamed her displeasure, not letting it show on her face. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
"Thank you." She smiled politely, picking up the tea cup for a sip as her eyes strolled around the sitting room in appreciation.
It wouldn’t be long now, this gigantic palace would be hers.
She smiled just as an incoming call sent a sharp sound to pierce the peacefulness of the atmosphere.
Looking down at the caller ID, Erica immediately knew who was calling. She looked up at the maid waiting on her and said, "You may leave now, I’ll call for you when I need you."
She dismissed the maid and once she was certain she’d been left alone, Erica picked the call, lowering her voice to ask.
"Is it done?"
"Yes madam, Mr Grayson just left the hospital."
Erica let out a relieved sigh, but deep inside, her joy had been cut off halfway. Earlier she had been celebrating on her own, but who knew that celebration was all for nothing.
The damn child survived! Just the thought of that fact, filled her chest with fury but she kept it contained.
Her people had blocked all sources of finding a donor, even manipulated the blood banks. Erica knew Tristan would be Celine’s last resort, but all these years she had kept the children from him, she most definitely wouldn’t reveal them now, would she?
Of course Erica’s expectations had been overturned, the bitch had contacted Tristan. Her people had reported to her that Tristan was in the hospital and he had donated his blood to the little girl, and just like that, what had felt celebratory for Erica had suddenly changed into a curse.
Tristan finding out about those children would absolutely be the end for her and her dreams of becoming his wife, she couldn’t let that happen.
She had to admit, having many people by your side who were willing to do anything for money was a great advantage. Her people had handled the whole thing even from the comfort of her own home.
Tristan’s sources were very tight, if they over did it and tried to manipulate information, his people would definitely find out the truth, that was why they had taken quick measures, a mix of truth and lies and instantly released it to his assistant, Erica knew that if it came through Kaleb, Tristan wouldn’t doubt it.
It had been a quick desperate action, just to stall for time before she could fully strike Celine and her kids, but before that she needed to speed up the process of her becoming Mrs Grayson, that was why she came here to the Blakewood estate immediately, luckily she was met with good news.
At the thought of that good news, Erica’s mood improved drastically.
In seven days, she would officially become Mrs Tristan Grayson.
