Dumped A Scumbag At The Altar For A One Night Stand With A Billionaire-Chapter 107: Bring Your Daddy Home
Finally realizing who he was, Celine gave him a once over.
It was quite fascinating to see that the boy who had been a little chubby, with jiggly cheeks had actually grown up to be such a man.
She now perfectly understood the phrase, time makes a man, because time truly had changed the boy she used to know into a man.
"I see now, Juju?" Immediately Celine uttered that name, the man’s expression froze. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
"No one calls me that anymore, not even my mother." He said, jaw clenching. If she remembered correctly he hated that nickname even in the past.
Celine looked down at her wrist and noticed it was past six in the evening, time really wasn’t on her side right now. The event would start in less than an hour and she wasn’t even dressed yet.
"Okay, it’s wonderful seeing you again Julian, but I have to go. Maybe we’ll see each other again some time." She said about to step into the elevator doors that just opened but he grabbed her wrist to stop her.
"Call me, we should have dinner sometime, my Mom would love to see you again."
Celine looked down at her hand where he placed a card in her palm and she held onto it, giving him a nod and she immediately stepped into the elevator as he let her go.
As the elevator doors closed right before his eyes, Julian took out his phone from his pocket, the device vibrating with an incoming call.
"Yes Mom, I found her...my bride." He uttered, a grin on his face as his eyes remained fixed to the elevator doors with fascination.

"Wow Mommy, you look beautiful!" Leah exclaimed looking at her mother who stood before the mirror in awe.
Celine smiled at her daughter’s words and glanced at her own reflection.
The gown she wore clung to her like a second skin, a deep celestial blue that shimmered with countless specks of light as if an entire galaxy had been woven into its fabric, it was strapless and exquisitely tailored, it embraced her slender frame before flaring at the knees into a graceful mermaid silhouette.
Her hair fell in long, honey blonde waves, soft and luminous, framing her face. Her lips were lightly tainted with red and her eyes, clear and luminous blue danced over the dress through the reflection in the mirror.
"Of course she looks beautiful, I dressed her up!" Natalia’s voice came through, she looked at Celine like her best work, truly feeling satisfied by how the whole outfit and makeup turned out.
"But I helped too!" Leah complained with a pout. Natalia patted her head dotingly.
"Yes you did cutie, if it wasn’t for your help, your Mommy wouldn’t look this good." The girl beamed happily.
"My baby did a really great job." Celine said, squatting to kiss the girl on the cheeks.
Leah squirmed, "Mommy, your lipstick!" She giggled.
"Don’t worry, it won’t smudge."
Leo came up to them, scanning his mother from head to toe, he gave a light nod in approval but didn’t say anything about her looks, instead he asked, "Mommy, where are you going again?"
Celine suddenly felt like she was being interrogated, "To a work party, didn’t I say that already?"
She had rushed home to find Natalia already waiting to style her up, then she had gotten dressed. The event must have long started by now, it didn’t matter, she would go in fashionably late, if she hadn’t been delayed on the rooftop, she would have been ready on time and most probably be at the event by now.
"Party? What do people do at parties." He asked with a childlike curiosity.
"They drink, they dance and mingle." Natalia replied enthusiastically. Her mind of party was definitely not the formal kind Celine was currently going to, her kind as wild and unhinged, but she couldn’t tell the kid all that.
Leo frowned upon hearing that, "Don’t get drunk Mommy, it’s bad." He said in a matter of fact tone.
"How do you know drinking is bad?" Celine asked wondering where he’d gotten that information.
"In a book, it says adults who drink die young." He replied steadily.
"That’s about smoking."
"Same thing." He muttered.
Celine and Natalia laughed at the little boy, he really was getting ahead of his age. She squatted in front of him then said, "Alright, I won’t drink, but you haven’t told me how I look yet?" She teased.
He gave her a good look, then smiled, his hazel eyes turned bright and dimples just like Leah’s appeared on his cheeks. "You look beautiful."
It was so rare that he smiled so widely, it tickled Celine’s heart and she hugged him tight.
"You’re squishing me!" Only when he complained did she let him go and then kissed him before getting up to leave.
"All set?" Natalia gazed at her again asking. Celine nodded and they accompanied her out of the house.
Her blue dress flowed along with her as she moved, it had a slightly plunging neckline that showed a bit of cleavage, the makeup on her face was minimal but brought out the beauty in her features she looked divine, like an angel in midnight blue.
Natalia watched her proudly as she got into the car and waved as the driver drove off.
"Godmother, is Mommy going to be Cinderella tonight?" Leah asked innocently.
Natalia understood what the girl meant, her mother was dressed so beautifully and leaving in such a beautiful car that it felt like she was going to a ball. Natalia smiled knowing where Celine was going tonight and who would be there, "Yes cutie, your Mommy is Cinderella tonight, let’s just hope she brings back her handsome prince."
"I’ll make that handsome prince my new Daddy!" Leah said smiling to herself.
Natalia knew about the fact that Celine had been working with Tristan lately and she would definitely be meeting him at the event, so he could be considered the so called handsome prince, and he was literally the children’s father, so Natalia didn’t refute the child’s words.
Whenever Natalia asked Celine about Tristan, though the latter tried to hide it, Natalia did see that look in her eyes. It seemed even she herself was unaware of her own feelings, but Natalia had seen it, and there was confusion underneath that look of longing in her eyes.
Natalia wondered what would happen now that they’d met each other again, with the way Celine was acting Natalia was certain it wouldn’t be one sided.
Would they truly be able to resist awakening the spark they had felt for each other five years ago? Yes, they shared nothing but a single night but she could see in Celine that it had birthed something between them, it was only just a matter of time, two people attracted to each other will not be able to avoid one another for long.
Natalia sighed, "Let’s wait and see if she’ll eventually bring your Daddy home or not."
