Lin Feng was sitting on a tree and resting a little before finding his next target. Suddenly he frowned as he felt a very faint gaze on him. He sat still and used his spiritual sense to its limit but did not find anything. Just as he was about to fly up to get a better look, the gaze vanished.

His frown deepened. He also became a little uncertain as the gaze was really very faint, as if it was not meant for him or was a mistake of his instinct.

Did someone just casually look towards his location? But how strong that person must be to be able to see him from a distance which was farther than his spiritual sense?

Was it someone who was in the void, traveling across the world and just glanced at this world in passing?

It was a little hard to believe that he made a mistake and no gaze had been cast on him. Did he let down his guard while resting so much that his instincts became ineffective too?

After pondering for a few minutes, he stopped thinking about it altogether. He did not feel any danger for the time being, so it was not something he should worry about.

He flew up and went towards his new target while thinking how long it would be till those Tribulation Ascendance cultivators came to the Southern Region.

The destruction of the sect should have been discovered by now. After all, even if all the disciples and elders were dead, there were certainly many disciples who had gone out on missions or other matters.

If they came back and saw the message he had left behind for them, then the Crimson Flame Palace should have been informed by now.

In reality he just wanted to kill the top echelons of the sect, but they did not come out of their sect protection array to face him, so he gave all the disciples in the sect a choice to leave the sect or die with it, and as usual they chose to ignore him.

Even their protection array which was only early stage of grade 9 was not able to hold his attack for a single breath, and once it got destroyed the whole sect along with its elders, sect master and disciples got erased from the face of this world.

Above the peak of a mountain inside the Eastern Region, Yan Lihua was holding the compass with her eyes closed. She had just used it to glance at Lin Feng by imbuing her spiritual qi into the compass.

She suddenly opened her eyes with a strange brilliance in them which faded gradually.

"I saw him. The location was some forest, but it was hard to tell which area it was. Nonetheless, this string is definitely connected to him, and if we go closer to him, it will point towards him..."

She said while looking at the Karmic Compass. This compass would stay connected with Lin Feng for a week. It meant they had seven days to find him. If not, then they would have to use a tremendous amount of spirit stones again to activate it.

"Let us not waste time then. Killing him as soon as possible is better..."

Mo Chen spoke and others nodded.

"Should we gather some other Tribulation Ascendance cultivators?"

One of the mid stage Tribulation Ascendance spoke, but Mo Chen shook his head.

"It will take time, and also you think twelve are not enough to kill a coward? If we fail even after this then it is better to cripple ourselves as we do not deserve to be called mighty figures."

Liu Qingmei nodded too and looked at the man who met Lin Feng first. "True. In the end our opponent is just a Heaven Ascension Realm cultivator, not to mention he is just at mid stage. We should already be ashamed that we have to group together..."

A few hours later, Lin Feng looked at the clan below him and sighed. It was one of the strongest clans inside the Southern Region, but it was completely empty of cultivators. Only servants were present inside.

It seemed the Crimson Flame Palace really had gotten the information and they did not hesitate to tell others to just hide.

Anyway he would still destroy this clan. If these servants did not leave once he asked, then their deaths would be on themselves.

Every single servant stopped whatever they were doing and became confused. They had all been told not to leave the clan area no matter what happened.

If they left then they would be disobeying orders from their masters and they would definitely be killed.

Once this statement was heard by others, it spread around the whole clan and they all became more hesitant to leave. They were afraid of getting killed if it was true.
