Dual Cultivation: Ying Yang is way to Chaos-Chapter 267: Threat
Lin Feng was quite sure that she definitely knew who it was but was just acting oblivious, "Senior sister Xie Ruyue"
Qin Yueli’s eyes widened, "Se-senior sister Xie Ruyue... so the rumours of her finding a partner were true..."
Lin Feng had to admit that this woman really knew how to act, "I guess. I was really quite fortunate to have her... we have arrived senior sister"
Qin Yueli took her tongue out a little, "Oops my bad. I totally forgot what I came for... hehehe. Junior brother your charm works like an illusion. Also it’s senior sister Xie who was lucky to have you..."
After saying that Qin Yueli began checking the spirit herbs while Lin Feng began thinking about what purpose she really had.
Yesterday she was interested in his alchemy. Now she was subtle about his charm. Was this some mission from the Seduction Faction to win him over to their faction? Certainly not right?
Or was there some kind of infighting in the sect which he wasn’t aware of?
"By the way junior brother which region are you from?"
"Northern." This information might already be known in the sect. Elder Yan had never asked about it directly but she must have gotten the information from Fu Zhen or Huo Meiling somehow.
Qin Yueli was genuinely surprised. It was actually very common for cultivators from the Northern Region to choose Yin Yang Harmony Sect or Crimson Flame Palace since Frozen Heart Sect only took females and even those who had their purity intact.
"Then given your talent wouldn’t it have been better if you had joined Crimson Flame Palace?" Qin Yueli spoke.
Lin Feng smiled sheepishly when he heard that, "Hehehe... I don’t know why I joined Yin Yang Harmony Sect but I think I like it here now..." Inwardly though he picked up her change in rhythm when she mentioned Crimson Flame Palace.
This wasn’t something easily discernible but he couldn’t miss it when he was fully focused on understanding what her intentions were.
"Aiyo~ junior brother you sound like you have joined this sect only for women but believe me you could have gotten the same treatment in Crimson Flame Palace as they care for talent in alchemy even more..." Qin Yueli said in a joking tone.
When Lin Feng heard this he smirked inside. He finally was sure what her intentions were. It seemed him acting like an innocent fool had lowered her guard.
It’s the first time he was encountering a spy from Crimson Flame Palace. He was expecting to meet them sooner or later so he wasn’t much surprised.
"I guess it might be true but I would have never met someone like senior sister Xie so I guess it’s still the best outcome for me..." Lin Feng maintained his act.
Given his value and closeness with elder Gao, if he just told her about it she would capture this woman first before verifying her identity later.
There was no need to do this though. He wondered if he could use this to his advantage somehow.
Qin Yueli suddenly closed the distance again. Lin Feng felt that and if he wanted he could have reacted to it as she didn’t use blood qi to boost her movement but he didn’t moved and let her do it.
"Content huh~ It seems senior sister Xie has shown you heaven... hehehe how about let me show another heaven junior brother?" Qin Yueli spoke with a slutty voice.
Lin Feng used blood qi to flush his cheeks more while taking a step away instinctively, "Ahh... d-did you say anything senior sister?"
"Hehehehe~" Qin Yueli smiled charmingly, "Alright alright I won’t tease you too much... but do think about it junior brother. I am quite confident in my skills... see you tomorrow~"
After saying that Qin Yueli flew away and Lin Feng watched her leave. Once she left his expression became indifferent and without paying much attention to the overly curious and envious gazes from his two helpers he made his way back to the hall.
These spies hadn’t made a move before the inheritance site but now they did. Were they desperate? Then why?
Crimson Flame Palace had an advantage in alchemy and weapon refinement, with alchemy being their main source. Were they fearing that after he had grown up they would lose their spot?
It did sound like a plausible explanation. Who would join Crimson Flame Palace after that? So even if they won the war and only two sects were left they would fade away slowly.
If this was really the case then enticing him to join them wouldn’t be the only option. If that failed then... eliminating him would be a must for them.
It seemed that it wouldn’t be long before he faced an attack.
This would be troublesome, not because he would be getting attacked by a Spirit Origin Cultivator but what if he was confined due to fear of other spies once he survived.
He didn’t want to lose his task as manager of this spirit field. He had to do something about it.
...
"How did it go?" The partner of Qin Yueli asked the moment she entered inside.
"Impossible. He is totally content with Yin Yang Harmony Sect... I doubt he would change his decision..." Qin Yueli shook her head, "If he had shown even a little desire then I would have moved with the plan but... there was none."
The partner sighed while the male disciple shrugged his shoulders, "Elimination it is then."
Both Qin Yueli and her partner nodded but there was one inherent problem: getting found out.
Unlike other spies who had no clue of each other’s identity they knew each other and if the person who carried out the elimination of Lin Hao got caught somehow then they would be caught too no doubt.
"So how should we do it?" Qin Yueli asked and they began discussing the possible course of action.

Lin Feng was creating pills while also thinking about how he should eliminate the threat without leaving any trace of what happened.
