Chapter 83: I, absolute, Heavenly Dao... Is it fear, I feel?

What’s the meaning of cultivation?

What’s the point of cultivation? What is the Dao? Where does Dso lead to?

Is cultivation all about who has the greatest fist?

To the lower realms, cultivation is a ladder of power. It is the accumulation of Qi, the refining of the flesh, and the expansion of the Dantian. They believe that to cultivate is to become strong—to command the wind and rain, to shatter mountains, to live for eons or even eternity.

But what exactly is eternity?

Is this the cultivation all about?

No. It is about understanding the structure of the world, being free from the shackles of the world—the fundamental laws of reality that bind one.

The biggest enemy of Cultivation is Confucianism, when it comes to Taoism/Daoism.

Why?

Because Confucianism is the doctrine of "Place." It teaches that to be human is to fulfill a role, to stand in the correct position within the hierarchy, to be a son, a father, a subject, a king. It is the architecture of social order, a rigid lattice of expectations and obligations that binds the "I" to the We or us.

The perfect plan of mine is simple: If you are a son, obey your father. If you are a subject, obey your king. If you are a mortal, obey the Heavens.

I was once asked "If heaven isn’t absolute in what audacity does it dare to dictate fate, in what capacity does it dare to force mortality upon us?"

Hah, in what capacity you dare question me, the ABSOLUTE Heavenly Dao.

Pity, I killed him without giving him the answer he tried to find.

Well, it lies in the nature of the cage. I want every Daosit to follow the "Dukkha" ( Suffering ) and live in "Maya" ( Illusion ) not grow past it.

Confucianism is the mortar that holds the bricks of the cage together. It reinforces the illusion of separation—the idea that you are defined by your relationship to others, rather than by your own existence. It is the ultimate shackle. It binds the "I" to the Other.

If you are a good son, you are bound to your father. If you are a loyal subject, you are bound to your king. If you are a benevolent sage, you are bound to the world you seek to save.

Every bond is a chain. Every expectation is a limitation.

The ultimate goal of the cage is to ensure that the "I" never awakens. Because as long as the "I" is asleep, the concept of Ontological Beat is just a background noise, and the soul remains a passive vibration, drifting along the currents of the time.

That allows me to rule the perfect system, a world where everything is predictable, everything under my control, once again reminding me that I, Heavenly Dao, am the ABSOLUTE.

But what happens when the "I" wakes up?

This is the terror that shakes me. This is why I feared the True Primordials.

I hate heaven-defying talents, I hate the ones who break the shackles, the ones who dare to defy the order. They are the anomalies in my perfect structure. They are the variables that refuse to settle.

There are many so-called wanna be Fang Yuan, or Gu Changge, or Wang Tian.

They think they are special. They think they are the anomaly.

They are nothing but clowns. It is only natural for me to maintain the order, to maintain the balance, someone has to shoulder the responsibility, someone has to give meaning to a meaningless nihilist world—a, dark, cruel place.

I don’t understand the concept of Xiulian. Why do you have to master yourself, your perception? Settle within Xianxia or Xuanhuan, or even Xiuxian? Enjoy the power, glory, and the harem. Spread love, hate, confusion, anger, kindness, just stay within the system. You were born as a pawn, always remain a pawn.

But, they ask me: "Why do you restrict us? Why do you send Heavenly Tribulations to kill us when we reach a certain realm?"

Ignorance!!

It is not murder. It is pruning.

A gardener does not hate the weed; he simply removes it because it threatens the shape of the garden. I am the Gardener. Rests are the plants. More importantly, I will judge because I can.

Why do you have the self and become the randomness?

That’s why I always take the one with Golden Fortune Lux as my pawn, because I know they will never master the self, because the Truth itself has condemned them as failures.

Across the multiple universes, there are always a few cultivators that still act randomly, I hate them, they destroy the perfectly functioning world structure, they destroy the flow of the world as it is intended. I punish them with no mercy making sure the path leads to where it is intended.

Across multiple worlds, multiple cycles, I choose many people to build themselves as I intended. To me they are just pawns but to stupid people, they are the chosen son of destiny, the "protagonist", "The system holders".

From time to time few system holders and the Chosen Son of Destiny are killed by those randomness cultivators, but that doesn’t matter. I can just replace them. The Wheel of Fortune turns, and the dice are rolled again. A new hero rises from the ashes of the old, equipped with a new "Golden Fortune Lux," a new System, and a new destiny to fulfill the script I have written.

It also allows me to find the heretics, the sinner who dares to break the flow of the world. For me, it’s a good grade. Losing one pawn for a random variable is totally acceptable. It’s all for the greater good, sacrificing one to maintain the greater good of everyone.

Maintain morality, maintain humanity, maintain the "greater good. Let the peace be settled, even if violence and war were to happen, it should be greater good of everyone and under a predictable outcome.

Among thousands of Daoists who dare to become randomness, the one particularly interesting was Elder Gu. Now that I think about it, could I have miscalculated, could I have made a mistake?

He grew up in a small village suffering from malnutrition. The village was pitiful, suffering from a shortage of food, and water. Based on the predestined future, many would have died from hunger before that brat Gu could even help. The only survivors were a few. That little Gu would then cultivate and marry the girl named Xiu having two children.

The people were praying, begging, asking me for help. I couldn’t refuse, my purpose of existing was just to maintain order, uphold morality, and maintain the greater good. I had to intervene.

I don’t want a few survivors, I want more survivors. I want them to know someone there cares, the god doesn’t abandon anyone, so, I sent a surname Lu there equipped with a system, to solve the issue.

Little Gu’s destined Dao partner eloped with Lu, it is but a small price to pay, for the greater good. Look at the good side, at a small price many people survived, people overcame the hunger, the village prospered, and many more children were born.

It was a perfect outcome. Was it not?

It’s hard for Little Gu, but think of the bigger picture, think of the greater good. Isn’t it normal for one person to suffer while multiple live happily then everyone to suffer but one to live happily?

But I never expected him to kill the system holder.

How?

How could a mere mortal, a speck of dust in the grand design, sever the thread of a System-bearer? He killed everyone? How is that possible?

I believe I was harsh on you for the greater good, thus, as benevolent as I am, I shall forgive you.

I am the Heavenly Dao, the absolute, the one who weaves the tapestry of fate. I am not a monster. I am no evil. I am righteousness, giving hope and spreading light.

He took my mercy as a license to sin. He took my forgiveness as a validation of his twisted path. He thinks he is special. He thinks he is the one who defied the Heavens.

He is wrong.

I am the one who allowed him to live. I am the one who allowed his cultivation to regrow. He should have cultivated peacefully and kept the harmony, but no, he was greedy, killed the Ye Chen, Ye Fan, and another Ye brat that could have been a potential major pawn.

Outrageous!!!

The arrogance of the ant is proportional to the size of the grain of sand it stands upon. You shall now live the life of mediocrity, the cultivation base you are proud of, shall be seized from you. I want you to live the life in the dirt, to suffer, to beg, to know your place.

Finally, everything was going normally, the few one who dared to change or even challenge the destiny were killed.

But soon, another randomness came. His name was Wang Tianmo. But the thing I hate most about it is the Formless Spirit root. He even seemed to possess something... Ah, this is one last remaining system, that somehow got disconnected from the motherboard yet it can still access it.

Hmph, but a puny ant. To even think, it can go against me, how laughable. Pity, I can’t laugh.

However, this anomaly is growing too rapidly, even Li Chen born with Dual Pupils and Supreme Nine Yang was instantly gone.

Seriously... This is too much of an anomaly.

The existence of a Formless Spirit Root is an ultimate anti-nature where you can absorb everything within nature, thus, as a force of nature, and consciousness will I can only use in-nature laws and power.

In nature refers to natural fire, lightning any form of energy that isn’t refined by a being. It’s like unclaimed territory awaiting to be claimed. Normal cultivators possess a specific affinity like fire, water, wood etc. They can only absorb that specific type of Qi. They are bound by the laws of their own element.

But Wang Tianmo is different. He possesses the Formless Spirit Root. It is a void that rejects nothing. Fire, Ice, Lightning, Poison, Devil Qi, Holy Light—it matters not. All energy is fuel for the furnace.

This is why he is the ultimate anti-nature. Nature relies on balance, on the segregation of elements. Fire burns wood, and Water extinguishes fire. It is a cycle of dependence and restriction.

Tianmo breaks this cycle. He does not fit into the ecosystem. He is the invasive species that consumes the ecosystem.

To me, he is not a cultivator. He is a black hole in the fabric of my reality. As such, it’s only natural for me to humt anyone with formless spirit root. People say, I choose, people say I am unfair. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

Look at Tianmo. I am not an administrator, I am merely acting like one. I want a balance where the weak can live, if I were never there, others would only be food for someone like him. What’s the beauty of true natural order here strong can humt weak without any backlash!

I bear the responsibility of maintaining the order, because I was created for this, it’s my duty, hunting the potential chaos is my karm. Life isn’t all about killing weak meaningless for personal growth and curiosity.

All-refining devil fire? True Devil heart? And unknown blood... With formless spirit root. What a disaster.

If only he didn’t possess a formless spirit root, he would be nothing but a pawn on the board easily erased.

Everything seems to be failing. Even the immortal emperor I planted for the growth of Li Chen was defeated. What a stupid Daoist, unable to distinguish silver from dust.

But, even so, I remained supreme, I am ABSOLUTE.

With the Tang Family and Sword sect as pawns, I won, or so I thought.

This stupid Elder Gu, a puny mortal. How dare you mess with the grand scheme if things?

Wait... These feelings... Am I feeling fear?

He isn’t Tianmo...

This is Primordial Black, Sada Ananta Avyakta.

He has returned. How interesting, I always felt like I was a pawn, a feeling that I was being manipulated in a greater game, but I shall overcome it all.

I had defeated Primrodial Black once. I shall defeat it again.

Merely a dragon fantasy. It shall end.

A/N: I will show one more of Heavenly Dao POV, but I won’t go for True primordials yet. Remember "Heavenly Dao" gained its ego form from memories of the dead who felt life was injustice, unfair for the masses, thus it isn’t perfect. I would love to know how you think, haha, hoping to get some comments for engagement, lol. If you wanna debate philosophy, I am open too.
