Chapter 65: Death by Thighs, Tea with a Bunny

Finn’s mind faded like a leaf caught in a lazy breeze. Weightless. Drifting.

Somewhere far off, he could vaguely hear the girls panicking over his limp body, screaming as Majestria finally unwrapped her divine thighs.

Even she sounded shaken—getting chewed out by the others for almost manslaughtering her own party member with her "blessed assets."

But none of it really mattered anymore.

Finn’s body... was calm. His mind, even calmer. Like every pore in his body had sighed and decided, "Yep. We’re done here."

’Is this... dying?’ The thought brushed through him, hazy and slow. ’Did I seriously just get killed by thighs...?’

He wanted to laugh. And he did, kind of.

Internally. A little sad, a little proud.

’Damn. Only lived two days in this world. Got Isekai’d, and now I’m getting Unsekai’d. What a speedrun.’

The realization stung more than expected. ’Those poor girls are gonna be so confused... maybe even a little sad. That’s... kind of sweet...’

The thought of leaving the girls—sadden Finn a little.

But even all those thoughts began to fade.

Like echoes sinking beneath water.

Like a dream being archived.

Finn’s consciousness started to slip, stretching thin, detaching from his body. The darkness wasn’t cold or scary—it felt like... renewal. Like the start of something else.

A quiet hum washed over him.

And then—

SNAP.

A sharp crack, like reality had just reloaded.

Finn’s eyes shot open. Air surged back into his lungs. His heart pounded.

He was alive.

Fully, painfully, vividly alive.

But something was wrong.

He wasn’t in the room anymore. He wasn’t in the same room. Hell, he wasn’t even sure he was in the same dimension.

Everything around him had changed.

Finn blinked rapidly, trying to make sense of it.

Where the hell was he now?

***

Finn’s surroundings had completely changed.

He felt the warmth of the sun kissing his skin—gentle, steady. He blinked, disoriented.

’What the hell...?’

His vision was still blurry, but light poured through—the golden glow of the sun, and flashes of white all around him.

He rubbed his eyes. Slowly, his vision adjusted.

He was seated at a long table beneath a canopy of blooming white trees, their petals drifting down like snowflakes on a forgotten winter night. The table stretched endlessly beneath the soft sunlight, dressed in white linen that shimmered faintly in the glow.

Delicate china plates—pale blue, rimmed with painted roses—sat in perfect symmetry. Every spoon aligned. Every teacup filled.

"Where... am I?" Finn muttered.

"Ah. You’re awake—though not fully," a calm voice replied from his right.

He turned his head and nearly flinched. A rabbit. But not just any rabbit.

It had the body of a human, sitting perfectly still, back straight, paws resting neatly in its lap. Its fur was immaculate white, its eyes a pale, unreadable gray. It wore a black waistcoat and a thin silver chain hung across its chest. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Finn blinked again. He wanted to panic. But for some reason... he felt calm. Like dreaming inside a memory.

Then—soft giggling.

From further down the table, just within reach.

"How wonderful... you’re finally awake," said a voice he hadn’t heard in what felt like years. Sweet, warm—dripping with honeyed enthusiasm.

Finn turned his head.

And there she was.

Lilith.

His old college crush.

But she wasn’t wearing the student council uniform anymore. No—she was dressed in a pale rose-red Victorian tea gown, high-collared with frilled lace, puffed short sleeves, and a delicate white trim around the edges. A dark crimson rose was clipped to the side of her long, raven-black hair.

And her eyes—those crimson eyes—were deeper now. Redder than he remembered. Like velvet soaked in wine.

She smiled at him softly. It struck his heart like a whispered memory.

It felt like he had known her forever.

But something about this... felt off. So, so wrong.

Finn stared, stunned. Words failed him. His mind raced to make sense of it.

It felt like something ripped straight out of a fairytale.

The rabbit gestured toward the teacup in front of him.

"The tea tastes best when you’re uncertain."

Finn said nothing, but lifted the cup. He took a sip.

A strange warmth spread through his body. Sweet, yes—but layered with something he couldn’t describe. Something... familiar.

Lilith folded her hands and leaned forward, her gaze dreamy.

"I wish you would’ve spoken to me more."

"I... I—" Finn stammered, brain short-circuiting.

She leaned back with a gentle sigh. "It saddens me, seeing you with those girls... but it also makes me happy. You’re smiling again." She swirled her tea.

Suddenly, the rabbit produced a silver pocket watch.

Pa!

He snapped it open.

"Oh dear. It seems we’ve run out of time."

Lilith’s smile faded. Her lips curled downward in a pout. "It’s not fair... I wanted to speak to him longer."

"I’m sorry," the rabbit said, not unkindly. "You know the rules. The party is only meant for three."

He turned to Finn, eyes unblinking.

"The next time you see me... you won’t recognize me. But you’ll know."

And then—

Everything faded.

Like a cutscene at the end of a strange, beautiful game.

The world melted away.

And Finn was gone.

***

Gasp!

Finn’s eyes shot open.

He jolted upright, sucking in air like a man dragged back from the depths of the underworld.

All the girls were gathered around him, their faces pale with worry. Like he hadn’t just died and returned from some tea party with a talking rabbit and his mysterious college crush.

"You... you weren’t breathing," Majestria said, visibly shaken. Her eyes wide, her voice small.

Finn blinked.

Looked around.

Touched his chest.

Then screamed:

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!"

The girls recoiled.

Majestria blinked. "...Okay, he’s definitely back."

"Did you see something?" Lickthorn asked, eyes wide.

Finn clutched his head, panting. "I had tea with a freaking rabbit—and my old crush from college was there. She was wearing... Victorian drip. I think she gaslit me into drinking emotion tea."

Chestelle raised a finger. "Was she hot?"

Finn groaned. "That’s not the—yes. Yes, obviously she was hot."

He collapsed onto the floor, hands over his face.

"I need a priest. Or a therapist. Or a shovel.

No better yet, I need to be lobotomized."
