Dragged Into Another World Because of My Otaku Friend-Chapter 165: Horrific Scene
I was at a loss. The prince of the kingdom was actually pleading with us. Of course, I wanted to help save the princess who wouldn’t? But I didn’t want them to place their hopes too high.
If this doesn’t work, the consequences will be dangerous. First, the princess might be injured, and second, our original mission to subdue the kaoslith will fail, leading Daisy Town straight to destruction.
I was just about to explain all of that when suddenly...
"Got it! Just leave it to us. Beltimore is right, we still have aces in our sleeves that we haven’t shown yet. That Azul guy will be scared to death when he sees our true power." Bob said proudly, punching his chest. His head was tilted up, overflowing with dignity.
This guy! He’s always so full of himself. Does he even have a brain to think with, or was he born without one and needs to purchase it separately? Please think for at least one second before speaking, you idiot.
Reymond smiled. He tapped our shoulders and nodded.
"Then let us work together. I expect a strong performance from the new S-rank adventurer," he said to Bob.
"Leave it to me!" Bob said.
Reymond then approached the table. He seemed calmer now, knowing they finally had a chance with us joining.
"Good. Now let us revise the plan we have come up with." Reid explained the mission again. This time, I was fully focused, as the life of the princess was in our hands now.

In one of the big buildings at the center of the town, Reika was sitting on a wooden chair. When she woke up, she was already in this room. The room was spacious, with many decorations and drawings on the walls. A big chandelier hung gloriously at the center of the ceiling, lighting the room with a warm yellow glow. A fur mat covered the entire floor, and dozens of intricately carved wooden furniture pieces were arranged neatly around the room.
From the look of it, this place definitely belonged to someone rich. Reika’s gaze shifted to the wall, where a portrait of the Mayor of Daisy Town was displayed.
"Beautiful room, isn’t it?" a voice suddenly said from behind her. She didn’t react.
She slowly turned her head and looked at the mysterious masked man who had kidnapped her, Azul. He kept appearing out of nowhere to greet her. At first, she was always shocked by it, but after some time, she had gotten used to it.
Azul pushed a trolley carrying a plate of snacks and a jug of drink. He placed the plate on the table, then poured a tea-colored liquid into a ceramic glass before setting it in front of Reika.
"Please have a drink, princess. Don’t be shy. It should be tea time right about now," Azul said.
But Reika had no appetite. She just stared at him, her beautiful blue eyes reflecting the chandelier’s warm light.
"Why are you kidnapping me? What do you want?" she asked.
"Why, you ask? It’s straightforward. I want to borrow your power. May I?" he said casually.
Reika frowned at him. "What do you mean by that? I don’t have any power."
"I know your family has done its best to hide it from the public. But I have my own ways of knowing," Azul replied. He leaned forward, looking straight into Reika’s eyes. "I know you possess a Spoken class. A very rare class. They say only one or two exist in this entire world."
Reika was stunned. ’How did he know? My class is only known by my closest family and the most trusted soldiers...’ Her mouth hung open in shock.
"Surprised? Well, you should be. I paid a lot of money to get this information. That’s why they say knowledge is power, and also fortune. Now that you’re here, let’s see a little demonstration."
Thump!
Suddenly, the room shook, but only for a moment. The chandelier swayed lightly from the vibration.
"Speak of the devil. Looks like they’ve arrived," Azul said calmly. "Now, princess. Please follow me." He stood up and opened the large doors made of black wood.
Reika rose from her seat and walked toward the door. She was a hostage now, so she couldn’t risk doing anything reckless. Azul followed closely behind her.
After a few steps, they passed through a hallway before arriving in a large hall. Reika was shocked by what she saw inside.
Three giant monsters, each with a single eye, were standing in the hall. On their backs, they carried structures that looked like crystals.
Thump!
One of them placed its crystal on the floor, shaking the room, just like the tremor she felt earlier.
"Be careful, monsters! Put even a dent on those kaosliths and your heads will be gone!" Azul shouted threateningly.
Kaoslith?! Reika’s eyes widened. She had never seen one before, only heard of them from bedtime stories and rumors. She never expected to see a single one, let alone three of them here.
Besides the giants, there were also dozens of black-robed figures scattered throughout the hall, watching as Reika walked toward the kaoslith, guided by Azul.
Soon, she saw the kaoslith right in front of her, and upon seeing what was inside it, she immediately closed her eyes and turned her head away.
"What’s wrong, Princess? Why are you turning your head away from these beautiful creations? This is an opportunity for you to gaze at the majestic structure closely," Azul said. He circled around each of the kaosliths before stopping at the smallest one among the three.
"Except this one. This is a disgrace."
His eyes behind the mask shifted. He raised his right hand, a purple aura gathering around it.
Pang!
He punched the kaoslith, shattering it into thousands of pieces. Reika covered her mouth with both hands, realizing Azul had just destroyed a kaoslith with a child inside it.
One of the scattered pieces on the floor contained a human eye. Reika turned her head away from the horrific scene.
Azul looked back at her and said playfully, "Now, it’s your turn, Princess. Show me your power."
