Douluo: Transforming Xiao Wu into a Zerg Queen Was Just the Beginning-Chapter 16: The Ninety-Thousand-Year Python — A Suspected Spiritual Skull Bone
Chapter 16 - 16: The Ninety-Thousand-Year Python — A Suspected Spiritual Skull Bone
"Mm~!"
A soft sound escaped as Xiao Wu slowly opened her beautiful eyes and looked at her Hive Master, Lin Fan, with a sweet smile.
She reached out and hugged him tightly.
Still half-asleep, Lin Fan suddenly felt something tickling the tip of his nose.
"Achoo!"
Opening his eyes, he found Xiao Wu sweeping her tail across his face, over and over again.
"Oh, so you're trying to mess with me, huh?"
He grabbed her tail with a mischievous grin and immediately started tickling the soft flesh at her waist.
Xiao Wu's face flushed a rosy red, her ears turning crimson all the way to the tips.
But the ticklish sensation made her giggle uncontrollably.
"Ehehe~ Stop! I surrender!"
Her teasing laughter struck directly at Lin Fan's heart. Unable to resist, he leaned in and kissed her again.
"Mmm~"
After a while, he looked into her glistening, flirtatious eyes, seeing the ripples of emotion within them. Lin Fan felt completely relaxed and satisfied.
This girl really was a little temptress!
Curious, he looked at the bashful Xiao Wu, a bit surprised. "What's gotten into you?"
Since her transformation into the Blade Queen, she had always been alluring and confident. Why was she suddenly acting shy?
Xiao Wu pointed at the tail still in his hand. "My Lord... you're holding my tail..."
"Ohhh~"
Lin Fan smirked devilishly and gave the tail a playful squeeze.
"Ah~"
After a bit more playful teasing, Xiao Wu slowly sat up. Raising one graceful arm, a wave of Zerg biomass surged up from beneath her feet and coated her body.
In an instant, a full suit of bio-armor materialized.
A set of deep violet-black armor clung tightly to her body, perfectly outlining her stunning curves. Razor-sharp blades were affixed to her arms and legs. Despite its bulk, the armor was sleek and aerodynamic—fitting her like a second skin.
Her aura changed dramatically—no longer seductive, but overwhelmingly fierce and sharp. A chilling bloodlust and cold determination radiated from her.
Her massive bone wings rose behind her, blotting out the light.
This was the true Blade Queen—peerless and unstoppable.
Lin Fan stared in awe. This Xiao Wu, so cold and domineering, felt like an entirely different person from the soft, teasing girl of moments ago.
Three days later.
Ten thousand meters above the forest canopy, a massive shadow slowly drifted across the sky.
In the forest below, a giant black-scaled python was coiling around a freshly slain demon wolf, preparing to swallow it whole.
Suddenly, it froze. Its massive head lifted high, and its cold, vertical pupils locked onto the sky above.
But aside from the thick clouds, there was nothing in sight.
The python hesitated, flicked its tongue, then continued devouring its prey.
This entire scene was transmitted in real time back to the Hive via the Overlord hovering far above the clouds.
Lin Fan watched the giant python with great interest.
The dense black glow enveloping its body was nearly solid, flowing continuously across its scales. It looked like it was on the verge of breaking through to a higher realm.
For a Ninety-thousand-year-level soul beast to be able to sense an Overlord from ten kilometers up... it had to either possess incredible spiritual perception—
Or it had a spiritual-type skull bone in its body!
Either way, this python was worth investigating.
"Xiao Wu," Lin Fan said, "go retrieve its corpse personally."
"As you command, my Lord."
Xiao Wu smiled faintly. With a wave of her hand, her armor formed instantly from a veil of biomaterial.
She stepped into a biological transport chamber aboard an Overlord. Accompanying her were 20 Hydralisks, 100 Zerglings, and 2 Drones.
The Drones were there in case they needed to instantly spawn Spine Crawlers for emergency defense.
Of course, an entire Hive and 3,000 Zerg troops were already lying dormant beneath that section of forest—awaiting orders.
And two thousand meters out, at least ten Spine Crawlers had already locked the giant python within their strike range.
Lin Fan never acted without a plan!
The Overlord ascended straight upward through a vertical tunnel, then soared high into the sky.
Xiao Wu mentally marked the python's location.
"Full speed ahead—activate propulsion!"
"RAAAHHH—!"
The Overlord let out a piercing screech as green exhaust flames burst from its tail. Sonic booms rippled around it as it accelerated through the sky.
Meanwhile...
The python had finished devouring the demon wolf. It licked its fangs, tongue flicking lazily.
Suddenly, it froze again—its eyes locking onto a patch of bushes ahead.

"HSSSSHHHH—!"
It opened its jaws wide and launched a blast of black venom straight into the brush!
Ssssshhhhh—!
There was a rustle, then a swarm of Zerglings erupted from the undergrowth, leaping toward the python.
Amused, the python's eyes flashed with what could only be described as mockery.
Its tail swept across with devastating force, sending the Zerglings flying like rag dolls.
But its cold eyes remained fixed on the bushes.
Those were just appetizers. The true threat was still hiding.
Fwoosh—!
Several globs of corrosive acid flew through the air, slamming into the python's body.
SPLASH—!
The toxic liquid dripped harmlessly down its obsidian-black scales like rainwater.
The mockery in the python's eyes only deepened.
A dark light erupted from its body, and with a roar, it sent a shockwave hurtling into the brush!
Yet... there were no screams.
The python tilted its head in confusion. According to its spiritual senses, those strange heat signatures had disappeared entirely!
"Ehehe~ You really are strong. No wonder Lord Sovereign asked me to come in person!"
A seductive voice suddenly rang out from behind.
The python whipped its body around—only to find a breathtaking woman clad in violet-black armor standing right behind it!
Its pupils contracted sharply. Every instinct screamed—Danger!
Xiao Wu chuckled, her massive bone wings unfurling behind her.
"Enough playing around. My Lord is waiting to watch."
A crimson gleam flashed in her eyes.
Six blood-red spirit rings rose slowly behind her.
Red.
Red.
Red.
Red.
Red.
Red.
All six—one-hundred-thousand-year rings.
