Don't Fall For Me, CEO-Chapter 1176: Bloodstains
Walking out of the club, Joseph, Jennings, and the newly awakened butler all had unusually grim faces.
They desperately wished that what had just happened was merely a dream, but the bloodstain on Jennings’ neck, left by Susan Carter’s blade, proved that none of it was a dream.
It turns out, July Quinn was the Earl who swept across the Desrozin City market, and also the one who had played the Marsden Family like a fiddle!
Moreover, her power was terrifyingly overwhelming, and the bodyguards they brought, thinking they could take her life, all perished here.
At this rate, it wouldn’t take a month for the Marsden Family to be ruined by her.
On the way back, Joseph suddenly spoke.
"Jennings, do you still think we shouldn’t agree to Anna’s proposal now?"
Jennings opened his mouth, wanting to say something.
But thinking of those dead bodyguards and the agreement he had signed with July Quinn, he ultimately found himself unable to speak...

On the other side, July Quinn and Susan Carter returned to The Quinn Manor.
Laura Quinn was busy cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
Aside from July Quinn and Susan Carter, and Old Master Quinn who had been wheeled to the dining table by a servant, there was another person waiting to dine.
Yes, it was Kyle Keaton.
Although Laura Quinn wasn’t too welcoming towards him, in order to integrate into the family quickly, Kyle Keaton came uninvited.
As soon as July Quinn and Susan Carter arrived, Laura Quinn served the freshly cooked rice cake with crabs.
"Quick, try it; the flavor should be great." 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
Laura Quinn sat down and immediately placed a piece of rice cake into July Quinn’s bowl.
Seeing the steaming rice cake, July Quinn eagerly put it into her mouth.
She yelped from the heat but couldn’t help but eat another piece.
The rice cake with crabs was really delicious; the cake absorbed the sweet broth from the crabs, becoming tender and creamy.
The key was that this dish was made by her mother; it had the taste of mom.
July Quinn absolutely loved it!
Just as July Quinn was indulging in the deliciousness, Laura Quinn suddenly asked, "What’s on your sleeve? Is it blood?"
These words had hardly left her mouth when everyone at the table looked towards July Quinn.
Especially Susan Carter.
Since he was in action with July Quinn earlier, he was certain that what Laura Quinn referred to was... human blood.
July Quinn remained relatively calm and just glanced coldly at her sleeve.
Indeed, it was human blood.
It must have accidentally splattered when Susan Carter made his move earlier.
She was truly careless earlier, not thoroughly checking before wearing this damned jacket inside.
She noticed Susan Carter staring at her and quickly gave him a warning look, signaling him to keep silent.
"Is there an injury somewhere?"
Laura Quinn looked worried.
Old Master Quinn chimed in quickly, "Get the butler to call the family doctor over. Any wound must be treated immediately; infections aren’t trivial.
They all seemed deeply concerned.
July Quinn quickly stopped them: "No need, I’m not injured."
"Then what’s the matter with this blood?" Laura Quinn frowned.
"It’s from my period, accidentally got smeared," July Quinn lied casually.
"Silly girl!"
Laura Quinn sighed in relief and said, "Take off your jacket later, I’ll wash it for you."
"Alright..."
July Quinn promptly picked up a piece of rice cake and placed it into Laura Quinn’s bowl.
"Mom, you should try it too, it’s really delicious."
Laura Quinn didn’t think of anything else and happily began eating the rice cake her daughter served her.
This farce seemed to pass, but Kyle Keaton continued to stare at July Quinn’s sleeve.
Because his instinct told him that something must have happened earlier.
