Don't Fall For Me, CEO-Chapter 1161: Extremely Annoying Sight
The largest racetrack in Desrozin City—
July Quinn, dressed in all white riding gear, sat atop a brown horse.
Allen rode a white horse, following by her side.
"Honestly, I think it’s not very cost-effective to invest all the way in Desrozin City."
Meridia’s people don’t communicate much with the outside world, or else they would have had other businesses besides developing the auction and mining industries.
"It may not seem cost-effective, but all the residents’ daily necessities need to be imported, and just the expenses on these are considerable. If you can develop your own daily necessities brand, won’t these costs be saved?"
Yes, July Quinn was building a collaborative project between Desrozin City and Meridia to establish some household goods factories.
It might seem unremarkable, but if truly successful, it would be Meridia’s first historic collaboration with the outside world, definitely causing a sensation.
"Looking at it this way, it doesn’t seem too bad."
Allen said this, but he looked lazy.
Well, he actually really didn’t like working with the outside world, unless his benefactor requested it this way.
"It’s not just okay, the products manufactured by the factories can be used not just in Meridia, you can sell them all over the world. If the product quality is good, if they sell well, the revenue could be no less than developing a few new mines."
July Quinn knew Allen had little concept of money, but had a strong concept of mines.
Sure enough, after a simple metaphor, Allen seemed like he’d been enlightened.
"A few mines? Are you sure we could have income like a few mines?"
"If managed well, even more. When have I ever deceived you when doing business?"
"Right, you’ve always delivered on your word. I just didn’t expect such a small industry could earn on a scale with mining."
Allen was overjoyed.
If it could really make as much as July Quinn said, then the future generations of the royal family wouldn’t need to worry about exhausting mining resources and running out of money.
"So when do we sign the contract? I think the sooner, the better."
Seduced by the allure of the mines, Allen’s previous laziness vanished.
"Aren’t you even going to do a site inspection before rushing to sign?"
July Quinn rolled her eyes at him.
Yet he chuckled, "Her Majesty, July never lies to me, so why would I need a site inspection?"
Indeed, July Quinn had always delivered on her promises.
Back in the day, she said she would help him keep the throne, and she did. She said she would let him run the diamond mines, and she truly let him.
She saved the royal family and him, Allen.
You could say, without the July Quinn of the past, there wouldn’t be today’s Meridia and Allen.
So, Allen wouldn’t question her decisions.
Just like he once said when he decided to stand equal with July Quinn and gave half of Meridia to her, after all, half of Meridia belonged to July Quinn as well, she would never let Meridia suffer a loss.
"Alright, we can arrange for signing the contract later, but how about a race now?"
July Quinn hadn’t expected Allen to decide so quickly on signing the contract and was planning to enjoy a good horse race.
But even though they had finalized the contract signing, she absolutely wanted to do what she had planned first.
"Sure, the stakes are this 150-carat pink diamond from the mine. If you win, the pink diamond is yours; if you lose, the diamond goes as a finale at the year-end auction."
"No problem. Let’s start now..."
Kyle Keaton received the news that July Quinn was accompanying King Allen of Meridia at the racetrack. When he hurriedly arrived, he saw July Quinn, stunning and bold in her riding attire on the brown horse, a sight that sent jolts of electricity through his heart. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
But the man in golden riding gear running alongside July Quinn in the racetrack was definitely an eyesore!
