The moment she heard he wanted to eat, Ning Hua hurriedly said, "You don't need to get up! I... I'll get you something. But we only have porridge right now. Is that okay?"

At that, Ning Hua immediately ran out. A few minutes later, she returned holding a bowl of porridge. "Here, have some porridge!" she said, placing the bowl in front of him.

Seeing his state, Ning Hua stood there, completely at a loss for what to do. Although her original orders had been to kill him, now that he was her junior brother, she no longer had the heart for it. She just couldn't stand the sight of him and had wanted to teach him a little lesson. She never imagined it would turn into something this serious.

"Liu... Liu Ergou... I... I..." Watching him cough uncontrollably, Ning Hua was speechless.

Liu Ergou coughed for a full thirty seconds before finally stopping. He looked at the bewildered Ning Hua, and as his eyes darted about, another brilliant idea came to him.

After saying this, he began to cough violently again. In the blink of an eye, his face turned beet red.

"Ah! Liu Ergou!" Ning Hua cried out, rushing to his side and patting his back. But the more she patted, the more violently he coughed. This made the already panicked Ning Hua even more flustered, bringing her to the verge of tears.

Seeing the effect, Liu Ergou nodded in satisfaction. Time for the next step.

After another couple of coughs, he stopped and said, "Senior Sister, I can feel it. Water got into my windpipe; that's why I'm coughing like this! It's so uncomfortable... Senior Sister, can you please help me?"

Ning Hua nodded at once. "Just tell me what to do, Liu Ergou! I'll do anything I can to help!"

Hearing her response, Liu Ergou knew she had taken the bait. He continued, "Since you said so, Senior Sister, I won't be polite. Can you get the water out of my windpipe for me?"

His words left Ning Hua completely dumbfounded.

Ning Hua's eyes went wide. "What? You're not lying to me, are you?" she said suspiciously. "How can you suck water out of a windpipe? Do you take me for a fool?"

Seeing she wasn't falling for it, Liu Ergou remained perfectly calm. "Why would I lie to you? Senior Sister, look at the state I'm in. Do I have any reason to lie? Besides, I mean you have to suck it out through my nose! Then the coughing will stop! I know the method is disgusting, but it's the only way!
