Divine & Bizarre: Increasing Points to Invincibility-Chapter 90 - 84: Wishing They Could Skin Fan Wu Alive! The Strange Creature Escapes from the Great Prison! (Please Subscribe)_3
"What?" the scholar’s friend exclaimed, suddenly standing up. He looked at the flustered maid and said sternly, "Where are my father and mother? Take me to them!"
The maid hastily led the way, with the friend immediately following.
The scholar thought for a moment.
And followed as well.
The three of them arrived at a building within the large estate, where many house servants and maids were already gathered. Seeing the three approach, they promptly made way.
The scholar looked curiously at the expressions of the house servants and maids, noticing that each of them wore a look of fear.
It was as if they had seen a frightening scene inside the building that had left them petrified.
The scholar furrowed his brows.
He and his friend then entered the building, and almost simultaneously, they froze in place.
Their expressions changed identically, as if they had encountered a ghost in broad daylight!
Indeed.
The parents of the scholar’s friend were still inside the building, and they appeared to be alive... Except that their state of being alive was not quite the same as that of ordinary people...
Before their eyes was an extremely bizarre, deformed human figure.
It was as if some mysterious "Power" had forcibly fused two separate individuals...
Together!
The sight before them was such that the scholar, despite his extensive knowledge of poetry and literature, found himself at a loss for words to describe the scene.
The friend’s parents shared a single body, each contributing an arm to either shoulder—a normal appearance.
But.
Why did another arm sprout from the torso’s abdomen? Why was there another arm at the chest?
Why did one head have a face at the front and another one at the back of the skull?
Why did the body below have four, grotesquely deformed legs?
The scholar recognized the two faces; they belonged to his friend’s parents, didn’t they?
The face at the front was the friend’s father.
The face at the back was the friend’s mother.
Both of them were naked, with not a shred of clothing on their bodies. They were fused together in an extremely sinister and chilling state. Both faces had a stupefied look, with saliva dribbling from their mouths, and their eyes were dull and lifeless.
The blue veins were clearly visible on their bodies, as if there wasn’t a single part of them that wasn’t afflicted with varicose veins.
It appeared as if they had lost countless parts of their souls, creating such a visage that one glance would send shivers down one’s spine.
It was truly frightening!
Suddenly!
The temperature within the entire estate seemed to drop several degrees. Whether it was the scholar or his friend, as well as the maids and house servants outside... they all sensed a cold, sinister air spreading.
The scholar noticed a faint fog encircling them, which was decidedly out of the ordinary.
When he tried to turn his head to warn his friend, he was shocked to find—
That the faint fog had become extraordinarily thick in the blink of an eye.
The visibility was reduced to less than five steps!
The chill inside the courtyard had intensified, raising goosebumps and causing even greater fear and restlessness among the already anxious maids and house servants.
Even more unease!
The friend also noticed this anomaly, his face filled with bewilderment and fear, somewhat at a loss for what to do, "What... What on earth is going on? How could my father and mother... have turned into this?"
"It’s the middle of summer, morning time, why would there be thick fog rising in the estate? And why is it so cold?"
He quickly pulled the scholar outside and then called out to the maids and house servants, "Some of you, go out and have a look! See what the situation is outside!"
The house servants and maids were afraid, but they still had to obey the young master’s orders.
They hurriedly tried to leave.
But.
"Young Master! The gates of the estate, they... they suddenly won’t open!" a house servant cried out with a trembling voice.
"What? Then climb the walls and get out!"
"Young Master, we climbed up, but outside the wall... nothing can be seen outside the wall, it’s all blocked by the dense fog. And that dense fog seems solid, we can’t get over it!"
"Hss!!!"
The scholar’s friend sucked in a breath of cold air, and with a pleading look in his eyes, he turned to the scholar: "Brother Liu... we couldn’t possibly have encountered some dirty thing in broad daylight, could we? Brother Liu, you’ve encountered dirty things before, you must know how to deal with them, right?"
Strange and eerie incidents were happening at home, and they couldn’t even leave, let alone get a glimpse of the situation outside.
All these factors combined...
If it wasn’t running into a dirty thing, then what else could be happening?
Upon hearing this, the scholar felt numb, his only response was a bitter reply: "I don’t know how either... when I encountered a dirty thing before coming to the city, it was someone else who took care of it!"
Who could have thought. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
That coming within the city of Yinghe Prefecture, one could still encounter such mysterious incidents?
Why was he so unlucky?
The scholar felt like crying without tears!
Moreover.
This was encountering a dirty thing in broad daylight! A ghastly entity that could appear during the day and wreak havoc under the bright sun... that must definitely be a greatly malevolent spirit, right?
He was just a scholar who had read a few books, capable enough to write essays, at best.
To expect him to fight a ghastly entity?
That was overestimating him!
Suddenly! The scholar caught a glimpse of a white shadow flashing before his eyes, and before he could react, he was shocked to find... the three house servants standing in front of him were swallowed up by an even denser white fog.
That thicker white fog gave off a suffocating sensation and was permeated with a pungent, bloody stench.
"AaaAaAaAaAhHH!!!"
"Help! Save me!!"
"AaaaAaAah!!"
The three servants who were swept into the fog let out blood-curdling screams, scaring the other people into retreating again and again, including the scholar.
None of them knew Taoist magic, nor did any of them know Buddhist Law.
How could they dare to save them?
They didn’t even fully understand what was happening right now!
As everyone was trembling with fear, the three people who had been devoured were spit out by the dense white fog.
The next second.
Everyone felt a chilling coldness rising from the soles of their feet to the crown of their heads. They widened their eyes, staring at the lump of bizarre flesh before them!
Yes!
What the dense white fog spit out... was not three whole people, but a lump of deformed, monstrous flesh!
A mass that bore no scraps of clothing, with six arms, six legs. Three faces twisted and embedded in different places on the lump of flesh, each face filled with despair.
They drooled mindlessly, their complexions turned ashen.
Utterly horrifying!
