Chapter 1062: Chapter 1061

At that moment, the senior shareholder stepped forward.

"Your wedding is the day after tomorrow, and I’ll be there on time with my family. I wish you and Romeo all the harmony of a perfect duet and a lifetime of happiness."

"Thank you," Rosemary said, knowing full well that his heartfelt blessing was not easily earned. "About the things before"

Before the old shareholder could finish, Rosemary cut in with a laugh. "I’ve long since forgotten about it."

"Ha-ha-ha." The old man hadn’t expected this young woman to be not only magnanimous but also quite sharp. He thought to himself that Alberto had made the right choice after all.

"Then you’d better head home and get ready; you are not allowed to come to the corporation in the next two days," the old shareholder declared with authority. "If you dare show up, I’ll personally block you at the door."

Rosemary knew he meant every word. "Thanks," she said with a smile. "Then I’ll leave these two days in your hands."

After leaving the corporate headquarters, Romeo’s car was already waiting outside.

No sooner had Rosemary gotten into the car than he pulled her onto his lap, showering her with kisses. She wrapped her arms around his neck, laughing as she looked at him.

"Are you that eager?"

"You just look so enticing right now," Romeo said, his eyes fixed on her. "You’ve changed a lot in the past two years."

"Have I?"

"Yes." He found the sparkle in her eyes especially enchanting her allure growing by the day and leaned in for another deep kiss.

Just then, her phone rang.

Romeo, craving her like a hungry wolf, refused to stop no matter what.

Carl, sitting in the front seat, couldn’t bear to look, wondering what sins he had committed to endure such torment every day. By the time Rosemary managed to push Romeo away, the phone had already stopped ringing.

Romeo attempted to continue, but Rosemary pressed a hand against his chest to hold him back while grabbing her phone with the other. It was Molly calling.

"Rose must still be busy. Take a photo for me,I’ll send it to her," Molly said, holding her judge’s badge in one hand and smiling radiantly. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

"Let’s take one together," Hunter suggested, pulling her close. Both of them were judges at this year’s international design competition.

Molly looked beamingly at the camera, while Hunter’s eyes shone with tenderness.

After sending the photo, Hunter slid his arm around her waist. "Let’s head home."

"Mr. Collins!" Several fellow judges and staff came over, offering congratulations on their upcoming wedding.

Molly responded with a bright smile. "Thank you, everyone. Make sure you come to our wedding!"

Hunter’s gaze never left her. She had become more outgoing and always smiling. In crowded places, he was protective, making sure no one jostled her.

This tender gesture was soon captured and spread online.

Once in the car, Molly kept looking at the photo on her phone. She thought back to when she first entered the design world—just a nervous young girl competing in local contests. She never imagined she’d one day take over her family’s business, become a judge alongside Hunter, and soon be marrying him.

Hunter leaned over to buckle her seatbelt. "Sit tight, little one."

"Oh, by the way," Molly teased, "on the judges’ bench today, you kept whispering in my ear and offering me snacks. People will start focusing on us instead of the contestants!"

"I was afraid you were hungry," Hunter said, glancing at her affectionately. "You only took a few bites of your lunch and barely three sips of soup."

"I’m just worried about Rose," Molly said. She knew that earlier that morning, Rosemary had given a presentation abroad to an audience of over a hundred investors and family representatives. When Rosemary texted her after the talk, Molly finally breathed a sigh of relief. She hadn’t eaten much since joining the judging panel.

As a result, Hunter had been sneaking her snacks from below the table. Just then, someone came running over and tapped on the car window. Hunter rolled it down and accepted the afternoon snack that was handed to him. "Have a bite to eat first."

"Did you get someone to buy this for me?" Molly asked with a delighted smile as she opened the package to find her favorite dessert. Instead of taking the first spoonful herself, she offered it to Hunter.

Hunter insisted she eat first,he was too fond of her to take it before she did. "Go on, try it." He finally took a bite, and it was sweet heartwarmingly so.

"Delicious!" Molly exclaimed after her first taste, certain that anything Hunter chose would be perfect. "Oh, right,I need to check if Myrna’s back."

Myrna had been out on a challenging assignment, and rumor had it that after this one, she’d finally get a well-deserved break. While Molly worried for her in silence, she was also eager for her return.

After Molly sent a message, Myrna replied with an emoji, their little secret code.

"Sister-in-law, I’m back from the mission! And guess what,I bagged a national first-class medal," Myrna messaged proudly. "I also heard you won another award for your designs a few days ago. I didn’t get a chance to congratulate you right away. It’s not too late, right? May you continue to rise as a genius in the world of design!"

"The design world already has its genius in Rose; I just need to keep improving," Molly replied with a laugh. "And why are you calling me ’sister-in-law’? It makes me sound old." Then she added a voice note: "Are you and Chasel back too?"

"He’s back and he won an award too!" Myrna said, then asked, "Are you eating something?"

"Yeah, matcha cake."

"I should’ve guessed. Hunter must’ve gotten it for you. So, when are you guys heading home?"

"Right now."

"I’ll be waiting for you," Myrna said before heading off to find Carol.

Carol had recently sold a painting for an impressive sum of two million dollars, making a name for herself in the art world. She and her brother, Dennis Brooks, were also doing remarkably well with their business group.

In a beautiful garden, Carol was engrossed in her painting when Clark came up behind her, wrapped his arms around her, and planted a lingering kiss on her cheek.

"Painting again?" Clark asked, his gaze falling on the canvas,a romantic sea of flowers.

"A client requested it. I want to finish it before the wedding."

"Let me mix the paint for you," Clark offered, starting to help her. "Did you finish all your work?"

"Yep, I can dedicate the next couple of days just to you," she said, smiling softly.

"Oh, by the way," she added, "can you call Sean and check if Ophelia’s back in the country?"

Their wedding was the day after tomorrow, and everyone was caught up in the excitement. The grooms and brides alike had wrapped up their tasks early and were eager for the ceremony to begin.

"Sure thing." Clark dialed Sean’s number, but there was no answer.

He tried again, and this time Sean finally picked up sounding slightly impatient.

"What is it, Clark?"

"Is Ophelia back?"

"Not yet," Sean replied. "Whatever it is can wait."
