Chapter 134: To The Festival.

" We have important things to take care of and the heir to the Clan is enjoying himself with his love while the two prominent Daughters are spying on his romance, this Clan is done for." Rohli says as she smacks her face with her palm.

" Oh c’mon there’s still time to attend to all that." Diana says.

" The Orthodox Martial Festival is in five days." Rohli says as she turns to look at Diana.

" Five days!???" Diana exclaims in surprise.

" Yh, and we are to have a meeting right now, that is the reason I came to find you." Rohli says.

Quickly they both rush to the court room.

They both arrive at the court room and the Patriach, Elders and Pill Hall Master and Dang Juro were already present.

" You are both finally here." The Patriarch says.

" Good Morning Patriach and esteemed Elders." The two greet together with a slight bow.

" Take your seats." The Patriarch says to them.

The two have their seats and the meeting begins.

" I would like us to wait for the Young Master but we are short on time, so we will begin anyways, hopefully he joins us in time." The First Elder says.

" Ohh, please do not worry about him, he’s quite busy right now, I will ensure to pass on whatever message to him." Rohli states.

" Hmmm, alright then, let us proceed."

The meeting commences and they made all necessary arrangements for the journey.

The four representatives were going to be Diana, Rohli, Dang Juro and Dang Hyuk.

Dang Koi and Dang Lu were excluded from these expedition.

" We seek total dominance, so rather than have more people to embarrass the Clans name it would be better those people work harder here." Were the words of the Elders.

Sounds harsh but makes sense.

The Patriarch and First Elder this time are going to be tagging along.

The journey was scheduled to begin tomorrow.

Within the next four days they were to have arrived at Yongho, where the Orthodox Murim Festival is to hold.

After the meeting everyone goes their separate ways to prepare for this journey.

Rohli gives Dang Hyuk some more time before going to inform him.

The next day comes and it is time to move.

Everyone is ready and the carriage is ready.

They all bid their farewells, get in and the journey began.

The journey was smooth for the most parts.

The encountered a few bandits but those didn’t pose any problem.

During the journey Diana speaks about being the Captain and no one objects.

They make plans depending on knowledge from previous Orthodox Murim Festivals.

After three and a half days, they finally arrive at Yongho.

The city was busy, as people fluxxed in.

The streets were filled with merchants and vendors trying to sell their goods.

The group find an inn where they could rest, the next day was the start of the Festival.

After lodging in they all venture around the city to get a feel of the place.

P.O.V - Diana.

We all leave the inn to know more about where we would be staying for the next two weeks.

We went around gathering information and by nightfall we gathered back at the inn.

Yongho was home to quite a number of Martial Clans but the most prestigious was the Moyong Clan, the richest of the Five Great Clans.

They were the one holding this year’s Orthodox Martial Festival.

Their strength was not something one could look down on.

Amongst the Five Great Clans, they were second only to the Namgoong Clan in terms of strength and this position has been very close to being interchangeable over the years.

Under them in Yongho were Four First Rate Clans; Nazong, Hiha, Guidon and Lamba Clan.

This Four Clans were directly under the Moyong Clan as vassals.

Each Clan having a Mid Stage Martial Master as the Clan Head.

The Moyong Patriarch was known to be a Martial Grandmaster.

It is said that the Grand Elder is a Supreme Peak Powerhouse but some believe it to be an exaggeration.

’ Hmmm, one of the Five Great Clans huh?’

I guess I’ll find out if they were involved in my Brother’s death or not.

We all retire to our rooms.

I and Rohli Von Bastin share a room, Dang Woon and Dang Kal share a room and so did Dang Hyuk and Dang Juro.

The next day the whole city was incredibly rowdy.

A lot more rowdy than it was yesterday.

The Festival has commenced.

They say the aim of the Festival is to come together, feast and share in each other’s joy as a way to ease the tension from all the fighting as Martial Artist but in truth, it is just a place to come and show off your strength or get ridiculed.

The Dang Clan may have been ridiculed in the past but with me here, there would be no such thing.

We leave the inn and head towards the Moyong Territory.

The entrance was a huge gate over thirty feet high and twenty feet wide.

On arrival we could see as prestigious clans like the Namgoong Clan, the Habuk Peng Clan and the Jeagal Clan were treated with utmost respect as they went in.

Even First Rate Clans were being treated with respect but then it got to our turn and not a single person offered to greet us.

They all just took away their eyes like we didn’t exist.

Not gonna lie that stung a bit.

Everyone was busy greeting each other that not a single person walked up to us to even say high.

I guess even with the little increase in our reputation they do not feel it is enough to pay any mind, or it could be envy of our rise.

" Welcome guests of the Dang Clan." A man greets us as we stand in the large space of land awaiting the commencement of the Festival.

He had no welcoming aura around him.

He looked like it was too bothersome to come greet us but he had to since it was his work.

’ So now even a mere steward dares look down on me? ’
