" Now, let’s analyze your methods, starting with Hwa..." David says as he drops his tea cup.
He rises up and walks towards Hwa.
"First, the way you killed the Zhong Young Master was actually very smooth and clean, he hadn’t even noticed he had been cut, I’ll give you a 3.2 out of 5.
Now for the guard you killed, you slit his throat, that was better, you attacked from behind and you went for a softer and more delicate part, though you made a mess from the blood spraying out, I’ll still give you a 3.5 for that."
" Thank you Master." Hwa says.
"Now, Conan, splitting a man in two with an upward sword draw was cool but efficiency wise, that’s not really good.
If he was stronger, faster or just used his head more, you would have failed to end him in one strike and even if you did, as you can see you left a lot of mess, which could pose troublesome of you are trying to clear your traces, so I’ll give you a 3 out of 5, cause it was still cool."
" Thank you for your guidance Master." Conan says.
" Nari... You stabbed the guard in the neck puncturing his left carotid artery and jugular vein. You were precise but I wouldn’t say that was efficient.
Slicing deep across would ensure a kill rather than stabbing.
Slicing deep goes across these vessels and then the wind pipe.
If you had missed these arteries and veins that would have posed a problem, the mess created was less but still there, I’ll give you a 3.4 for the precision."
"Thank you very much Master."
" Beom... Damn bro, that slap was hard!" David says as he daps Beom up with a handshake.
" Utilizing your strength to slap someone down to his death was cool as fuck but... not really efficient for killing, if he was stronger or had more resistance you would have failed.
Of course his head smashing to the ground also caused a mess.
I’ll give you a 2.9 for actually being able to pull that off and it looked really cool."
"Thank you very much Master." Beom says.
" Hoon, you stabbed the guard with you bare hand and pulled out his heart, though that was cool, that was only possible because he had his guard down and wasn’t really strong.
If you met someone stronger you probably would have hurt yourself trying to penetrate their defense.
And of course, you also left a mess.
It was cool but... I’ll give you a 2.8."
" Thank you very much Master." Hoon says.
"Now, Byeol, you threw a dagger right into the head of the guard.
You were fast and caught him off guard.
You also attacked from a distance.
The only problem I see with this is the possibility of missing or the target dodging.
It was clean, no mess and a headshot guaranteed for a kill.
I’ll give you a 3.8 for that, would have been higher but if you met someone faster, theres the possibility of them dodging."
"Thank you Master."
"And now lastly, Ae Cha, you struck your target from behind, stabbing him in the back.
Now that, that was the best choice any of you had made.
Stabbing the abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava, two major blood vessels but since they are deep within the body, there is minimal outside bleeding, preventing a mess.
Also, rather than going for the neck which is high up, you went for where your hands could more swiftly strike.
In the process of trying to go for the neck, one could be found out.
With all this, I would give you a 4 out of 5."
"Thank you very much Master" Ae Cha replies with a smile.
" It seems like a basic boring method but it’s the most effective you all have shown today." David adds as he proceeds to sit.
"Well then, now that we are done with that, there should be some food at the counter, let’s eat well, tonight, we dance." David says to the children with a smile as they all smile back at him.
The night creeps in as David and the children dinenand rest at the inn alone.
No one dared come to bother them until...
*Thud*
Someone steps into the ground floor of the inn.
Following behind him were nine men.
All of them carrying a fearsome aura.
In total there were ten men.
Some held spears, while some hand sword hanging by their waist.
The children were sleeping soundly on the second floor.
These men made their way up the stairs and arrive at the first floor where David and the children had been earlier.
Looking around they could see bodies and blood everywhere.
Stench of blood was so strong it showed on their expressions.
After looking around the First floor they turn to return to the stairs so they could go up to check the second floor but they suddenly stop in their track.
The sound of men pulling out their swords and spears getting into position was as loud as a morning siren.
They all get on guard as they point their weapons on a male figure standing at the entrance of the first floor.
He had a cloak on partially covering his face.
It was David.
" Hello gentlemen, no need to be so hostile now is there?" David asks with his hands raised up and a smile.
"Who are you and how are you related to the incident that happened here?" The first man that entered asks.
" Oh that? I was one of the people that saw what happened here, why do you ask?" David replies still with his hands raised.
" Then why are you still here?" The man asks.
" I left a precious belonging of mine and it seemed like the place was empty so I came to try and get it." David replies.
" Hmmm, then I would like to ask you some questions about what happened here." The man says as he walks over to David.
" But why do I have to answer to you, who are you people?" David asks.
The man looks at David for a while as if analyzing him.
’ I can’t feel even an ounce of internal energy, must be some dumb ordinary folk.’ The man thinks to himself.
" We are people from the Zhong and Hong household sent to find the ones who dare to attack and kill our Young Masters." The man states.
"Ohhh, and what are you going to do when you find them?" David asks.
’ Why is he asking so much questions.’ The man thinks to himself.
" Torture them in the worst possible way of course before granting them death." The man states.
" I see, too bad then..." David says as he dashes at the man stabbing his hand right through his chest and pulling out his heart.
" ...I was thinking maybe I’d let you go..." He says as he squeezes the man’s heart before his eyes as the man drops to the ground.
