Destroying My Own World-Chapter 365 The one behind.
"I'm not sorry for what I did, and I would do it again if I got the same opportunity," Aurea put her left hand on the blade and slowly cut open her palm. "I didn't get a chance to fight you back then, sister. It's time to see who's stronger," she looked at the blade that had been coated with her own blood, making it pitch black.

Aurea blinked forward and slashed her sword right onto Beldathiel's neck. The shockwave was enough to extinguish the white flame that emblazed the whole area. But her sword got stuck and she couldn't push it further from Beldathiel's neck as the white flame reignited.
"You know the only one who can cut my skin is Ciel. You're just wasting your time trying to cut my head," Beldathiel slowly grabbed the blade.
"Are you sure about that?" Aurea smirked as she glanced at someone behind Beldathiel. "This is just the start, so enjoy the time you have left," she added.
Jeanne appeared right behind Beldathiel, swung her sword and in a split second there was an explosion of light, so bright that everything went white. She stabbed Beldathiel in the back and it pierced through her chest, but it wouldn't budge when she tried to pull the sword.
"Without your Light Sword, this Soul Sword won't do any harm," Beldathiel grabbed the blade with her other hand. "Have you forgotten that my surroundings are my own reality?" She looked at Jeanne over her shoulder.
Beldathiel made those two swords disappear and then she created a barrier around her, pushing both Jeanne and Aurea. But the barrier immediately shattered and she knew who was capable of doing so to her.
"I have been waiting for you to use that power of yours," Lillith said with her left hand pointed out at Beldathiel. "You haven't learned your lesson it seems," she added.
Beldathiel might be untouchable and invincible, but that wouldn't work in Lillith's presence because she could also alter reality to make one fixed reality. She lost one of her powers, and soon she would lose more if she had to face all of them at once.
"With this deterministic reality..." Aurea paused as her sword appeared in her hand and her eyes glowed brightly. "There's only one possible future, and that future has been predicted," she smirked at Beldathiel.
Beldathiel glanced at Bhatmelec and Vincze and at that moment she knew, she had lost the fight before she could try. The Deterministic Reality was still unknown to them, the same reality that made Luciel lose because of Bhatmelec's and Vincze's powers that intertwined with each other. It created only one possible and predictable future, making it impossible to change it with those two around.
Rozan summoned his dragons while Shelly gave buffs to the others, making them twice as strong. This time, Aurea used her full power, almost making her lose her mind, but it would be enough to deal with Beldathiel's thick skin. Everyone was ready to fight her and it would end in less than a minute.
When she was thinking about what to do, a sound of snapping fingers could be heard behind Beldathiel, and everything and everyone stopped moving. She was the only one who could move and then she turned around to see the one who snapped the fingers. She saw Aevia, standing behind her with her arms crossed, a woman with her whole body covered in white cloth, hiding her face and hair.
"Who are you?" Beldathiel squinted her eyes and she felt extremely threatened by Aevia's presence. Experience exclusive tales on novelbuddy
"It doesn't matter who I am, and I'm here because I find this interesting," Aevia answered as she walked past Beldathiel.
Beldathiel was dumbfounded when Aevia walked past her without her realizing it. She didn't see Aevia move, and then she turned around to look at Aevia who was staring at Bhatmelec and Vincze from up close. Even though Bhatmelec should have been the one who was capable of manipulating time, and yet, she was affected by Aevia's power and couldn't outmatch her.
"These two are the reason why the clock has been acting so weirdly. I never thought the power I bestowed onto them could affect the clock this much," Aevia talked to herself, making Beldathiel look so lost. "Such an interesting outcome," she hummed as she tilted her head and kept staring at those two.
"You bestowed them power?" Beldathiel started to question everything, and then she realized something. "Are you perhaps the one who brought him here? You brought Mykel Alester into this world to exterminate all of us?" She added.
Aevia's silence was unnerving and how the cloth that covered her face could make her smile visible made it terrifying. She then looked at Beldathiel and in an instant stood right in front of her with her hand on Beldathiel's cheek.
"If you die in their hands, I'm afraid he would be angry and would destroy everything. I don't want that, so I will offer you something to make you at least survive this," Aevia looked deep into Beldathiel's purple eyes. "Would you accept it?" she asked.
Beldathiel was thinking really hard and she couldn't find any answers to questions she had in mind. But deep down, she was willing to accept it without hesitation. She felt a feeling of longing for something, but she didn't know what it was or why it made her relieved from having that longing feeling.
"I accept," Beldathiel answered with her calm and stoic expression.
Aevia smiled and then a loud ticking sound of a clock could be heard from the sky. It echoed and it was so loud that Beldathiel felt like her heart stopped beating for a few seconds.
"Enjoy the power in your hands," Aevia walked past Beldathiel as her hand slowly stroked Beldathiel's cheek. "Be careful of the power or you will regret it. Use it only when it's necessary, and be wise," she whispered before she disappeared.
Beldathiel looked at her right hand and saw a pocket watch hanging down. She lifted her hand and saw the clock had more than two clock needles, and they were moving both clockwise and counterclockwise. She didn't know what she was looking at, but one of the needles was made of gold, different from the others.
She kept looking at it and it hadn't moved from its original position, and she thought of moving it. When she touched the needle, time moved again, but everyone else was still frozen in time. The pocket watch she held was too powerful for anyone to possess, and she found out about an existence beyond the Gods.
She hadn't moved the needle yet, and she wondered what would happen if she moved it counterclockwise. When she moved the needle with her thumb slightly, Aurea and the others started moving backward. She was rewinding their movements to the point where Aurea was the only one in front of her and the others were hiding in the sky.
The time kept moving forward, only the Gods who got their time rewound. When she removed her hand from the needle, Aurea started to move again.
"Long time no see, sister," Aurea said as she unsheathed her sword. "I see you sacrificed your wings for her. The only reliable sister we had," she chuckled.
At that moment, Beldathiel couldn't hide her expression anymore and was terrified by the fact she had brought the Gods into the past. A power to manipulate existence even beyond time and space, a simple pocket watch that a mysterious woman gave her. She couldn't help but laugh, she laughed so hard that her laughter confused Aurea.
"You can wait for a little longer, Rea," Beldathiel said as she moved the needle again to send them all back to the past, long enough so they wouldn't bother her.
Beldathiel walked back to the altar and saw Luciel sleeping peacefully because of the effect of her wings. She looked at the clock and thought that she could rewind long enough until Luciel was back in her prime. But then she remembered that it would also erase all the memories of the present and the sacrifice her sisters made. She also remembered what Aevia told her about using the power carefully, and that it was the main reason why she didn't want to use it on Luciel.
"You're back already?" Luciel opened her eyes to look at Beldathiel.
"Did you doubt your beloved sister?" Beldathiel attached the wings to her back. "I told you that I would come back to get my wings back," she pointed out.
Luciel smiled and didn't ask anything even though they both knew it would be impossible for Beldathiel to handle all the Gods on her own. Whatever that happened, she ignored it and she was grateful that nothing happened to Beldathiel.
"I know you want to know how I did that by looking at your eyes," Beldathiel paused to sit down next to Luciel. "One day we will know the answer together," she continued as she leaned her head over Luciel's shoulder.
