Anathiel stared Victoria in the eyes and realized the power of her sisters was inside her body. She squinted her eyes and found it interesting because no human should be able to possess those powers.

"I will give you a chance," Anathiel snapped her fingers to let Victoria be freed from her tremendous presence. "Fight me and if you can entertain me for five minutes, I will let you all live and leave this place," she said as she took a few steps back to give Victoria some space.

Victoria slowly stood up and looked at Anathiel as she thought of a way to survive for five minutes. She knew she was no match for her, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t survive. To be exact, she could leave on her own if she wanted to, but losing them would be bad since she had a plan to overthrow Elestria and get rid of Mykel.

"You have quite a wicked thought in there," Anathiel stared at Victoria with a cold expression. "You’re borrowing power from Gods, taking my sister’s powers, and think you can take over that tiny world with that?" she asked.

"You’re asking the wrong person," Victoria responded.

"Hmm? Are you talking about Mykel?" Anathiel tilted her head and looked at Victoria with her eyebrows raised. "Unfortunately for you, he didn’t borrow any power from those Gods of yours. It’s his own power, and even with that power, he’s not planning to take over the world with it," she pointed out.

Victoria was shocked and speechless when Anathiel revealed Mykel’s power. Of course, she didn’t believe it because if someone like him could possess such power, he could become a God. That thought of her made her realize that she had just discovered something terrifying.

"Enough with the talk, your time starts now," Anathiel spread her wings and sent the black feathers toward Victoria.

Victoria created walls made of bones that could withstand a strong explosion. But she was wrong to use that against Anathiel because her feathers pierced through the bones easily. She didn’t know where the feathers were coming from so she immediately moved away from the walls.

The feathers were following her wherever she went and a single barb of feather was sharp enough to cut her skin and flesh. She didn’t realize that she was being cut dozens of times as she dodged them until she saw blood coming out of her body.

"You have less than one minute to live," Anathiel was right above Victoria as she pointed at Victoria’s arm. "Each feather contains a curse, shrinking your muscles and creating blood clotting. It’s already over," she pointed out.

The moment Victoria heard that warning, she felt her body stiffen and it was getting hard to move like she was running in the water. She looked at her skin had turned black and her veins were popping out as the blood clot.

"Sabel!" Victoria shouted.

Sabel looked Victoria in the eye and he lost his powers when they stared at each other. He realized Victoria was borrowing his power to survive the curse, and he was confident that his power could withstand the curse.

Victoria got Sable’s power and transformed herself into a beast-like creature. Her regeneration ability could prevent blood from clotting and her muscles from shrinking. She then coated her claws with aura and tried to claw Anathiel’s body but Anathiel blocked it with her wing.

"Clever, but not good enough," Anathiel flapped her left wing and sent Victoria far away into the distance. "Let’s see if you’re still alive from that," she raised her hand, and the whole ground was folded like paper, throwing Victoria back like a stone on a catapult.

Victoria couldn’t move her body, but she was still conscious and tried to stand up. She knew a big body meant nothing and that her aura couldn’t even cut the soft feathers of Anathiel’s. She could be killed in an instant, but she was used as a toy instead, making her furious and powerless.

It’s not even a minute yet, you still have four minutes to go," Anathiel stood right above Victoria’s head. "What’s your plan next?" She asked as she put her bare foot on top of Victoria’s head.

Victoria regenerated her broken bones and immediately grabbed Anathiel’s leg to make her fall, but Anathiel’s leg was so heavy that it wouldn’t budge. She was dumbfounded that it felt like she was trying to move a mountain. Her brute strength was supposed to be the strongest that could destroy a whole building with it, and the fact that she was in that position made it so awkward.

"You’re desperate," Anathiel added a bit of weight on her foot and it was enough to bury Victoria’s head into the ground.

Victoria fainted by that pressure alone and the others were terrified by the fate that awaited them. But, when Anathiel was about to leave, she heard a crumbling sound from underneath her. She saw Victoria’s fingers twitching and then she saw orbs coming toward her, the orbs that belonged to Nephilim.

The orbs exploded, creating a powerful divine blast, and was enough to push Anathiel away from Victoria. But that didn’t hurt Anathiel nor left a scratch on her body, and Victoria didn’t intend to hurt her in the first place. That opportunity gave her time to move and thought she could use that to leave with everyone.

When Victoria opened a portal, she shoved everyone into the portal after she stole the power with the bones. When she was about to leave, the portal was blocked by a barrier, she was the only one left who was stuck in that world.

"You’re quite noble for saving them first than yourself," Anathiel wrapped her black wings around Victoria’s body. "I guess they’re still important for your little scheme," she added.

Victoria didn’t realize that her body had been wrapped in soft feathers, and she was petrified when Anathiel was right behind her. She could feel her body was slowly being squeezed by the wings, and she couldn’t move her arms or legs anymore.

"I can’t wait to see when the time comes," Anathiel whispered into Victoria’s ear, giving the worst chill down her spine. "I wish I could see it with my own two eyes," she giggled and then pushed Victoria to the portal.

Victoria fell into the portal and there was no barrier to stop her from entering. She was surprised and confused at the same time when Anathiel would let her go. Also, she was wondering what Anathiel meant by those words she whispered to her.

"Victoria?! Are you alright?!" Sophia rushed to grab Victoria away from the portal.

"I’m fine..." Victoria grunted and realized her whole body was covered in a curse. "I’ll be borrowing your skill again, Sabel," she looked at Sabel and took his power.

"Wait! Let me examine your body first before you heal them up!" Sabel realized it would be a great opportunity to get a new power. "It would be a waste if we didn’t take this because this might help us a lot if I’m able to recreate this," he pointed out as he stared at Victoria.

Victoria smirked and then nodded her head, agreeing to let her body be examined.

"Ana, why did you let them go like that? I thought you were going to get rid of them," The woman landed right behind Anathiel with her massive gold wings that covered the whole city.

"I realize their fates are in his hand. Killing them would ruin the fun for him," Anathiel answered. "How’s our sister, Belda?" She turned around to look at Beldathiel.

"She has finally regained her consciousness, but her powers are still sealed, and the Gods should have realized it by now," Beldathiel answered and looked at the sky with her lazy eyes. "I need to be cautious with every movement they do or this will go to waste," she added.

"If it’s you, I believe you can protect her from them. I’m sorry that you have to do this on your own, sister," Anathiel rubbed her black wings on Beldathiel’s gold wings.

"Anyway, you said him, but who are you talking about? Is it Mykel that you mentioned to me earlier?" Beldathiel looked at Anathiel.

"Yes. I’m not sure why, but he allowed me to read his mind," Anathiel licked her lips and the saliva was as black as tar, covering her whole lips. She then leaned her head forward, kissing Beldathiel on the lips, smearing her tar-like saliva on Beldathiel’s lips.

Beldathiel licked all the saliva on her lips and swallowed it, making her stoic expression turn into a surprised expression. She then looked at Anathiel smiling at her and then gently cleaning Beldathiel’s lips.

"I don’t know who he is, but he’s an interesting fellow, don’t you think, sister?" She asked and kept smiling at Beldathiel.

"With this, I might be able to use it as a bargain," Beldathiel smiled gently as she stared at the sky. "He’s indeed an interesting fellow. This might be our last meeting, Ana," she added.

"Goodbye, sister," Anathiel smiled.

Beldathiel wrapped herself with her wings and then disappeared.
