Destroying My Own World-Chapter 164 Welcome home.
Amaryllis indulged herself with the book she found and tried to gather as much information as possible about the languages. She sent so many of her clones traveling around the world to find anything that had similar writings as those in the book.
"What do you have there?" Hera asked as she entered the room with little Sasha after they both played around in the garden.
"Perfect timing. Can you read this language?" Amaryllis asked as she looked at Hera.
Hera sat down and looked at the book, and she shook her head immediately after she realized she couldn't read it. It was as Amaryllis expected, and she wondered if there was anyone on Earth who knew about the language.
"There's someone that might be able to help you out. Or perhaps he might be able to read it for you," Hera said as she looked at Amaryllis. "You know him, and you have met him before," Hera pointed out.
"Who?" Amaryllis asked.
"Odin. The only God of Earth who has all the knowledge," Hera answered as she yawned and rested her head on the dining table. "He might be interested in that as well," Hera said.
"Why didn't I think about that..." Amaryllis mumbled and furrowed her eyebrows. "But, I'm not sure if I should go there on my own without Mykel. Especially this thing feels like it's something important," Amaryllis said.
"Mykel isn't that kind of a person. You asked for freedom from him, and he gave it to you. Ever since you asked for that, did he ever stop you or prevent you from doing whatever you want?" Hera asked as she looked at Amaryllis.
"No, it was the opposite. He encourages me to do anything," Amaryllis answered as she shook her head. "If that's the case, I will meet with Odin. So, can you inform me if anything happens here?" Amaryllis asked.
"I can't promise you that. I'm so sleepy," Hera yawned as she stretched her arms. "This Empyrean World's power to let us live like a normal beings is really a blessing and a curse at the same time," Hera said as she looked at the bed and could imagine how comfortable it was.
"Then I'll leave a clone here. You can go to sleep since Sasha is also sleepy," Amaryllis suggested as she looked at little Sasha already on the bed and playing with a white fluffy cat.
Hera hummed and went to the bedroom so she could sleep with little Sasha and the cat. Amaryllis let them rest and went back to Earth to meet Odin in the Realm of God.
The moment Amaryllis came to Asgard, she saw all the Asgardian gathered in the square. She walked in and checked what was going on, and then she saw Freyja in the center. She listened to what Freyja had to say, and she was talking about the prophecy, the Ragnarok, the end of God's era.
Amaryllis wasn't interested in that and went straight to Valhalla to need with Odin. When she was about to enter the palace, she heard a raven right above her. She looked up and the raven stared her right in the eye, and then it flew away, wanting her to follow it.
She was brought to the bottom of a cliff and she could see a narrow path in the middle. She could walk in between without a problem since she was slim, but she was more worried about where it would lead her. The ravens were croaking right above her and watched her walk through the path.
Odin was standing still on a small island surrounded by a big river that was as calm as the atmosphere. There was a giant tree on the island near the river, and all the ravens he had were gathered on tree branches and acted as his eyes.
"Do you know what this place is?" Odin asked without looking back at Amaryllis who had crossed the river and landed on the island.
"Mimirbrunnr. This place is where you drink the water in exchange for one of your eyes. That tree is also the place where you hung yourself to gain knowledge about the universe," Amaryllis answered.
"You're quite knowledgeable even though this place is totally different from the one in the novel," Odin said as he turned around to look at Amaryllis. "It seems that you came here on your own accord, which is a pleasant surprise," Odin continued. Discover hidden content at empire
"I did some research, and I need to be knowledgeable so I can help Mykel in the future. And yes, I came here on my own accord because Mykel is busy at the moment," Amaryllis answered as she looked at the tree and could see the rope and the knot where Odin hung himself.

"Since you're here on your own accord, I have to use a different approach," Odin said as he looked at the ravens. "What do I owe you the pleasure for your visit?" Odin asked.
Amaryllis approached Odin and grabbed the book from thin air, and then she gave it to Odin. Odin was confused at first, but when he looked at the language written inside, he was shocked. He then started to chuckle and ended up laughing as he shook his head in disbelief.
"'Do you know what it says?" Amaryllis asked with curiosity.
Odin closed the book and looked at Amaryllis as he nodded his head, but his expression was a mix of joy and fear.
"Yes, the book is about creation and the secret of life," Odin answered as he looked at Amaryllis. "Even so, I can't comprehend most of the words that are written here because it's full of..." Odin paused. "Something ridiculous," Odin pointed out.
"What does that even mean?" Amaryllis asked and took the book from Odin's hand.
"When it comes to creation, what do you think of?" Odin asked as he sat on the thick root and looked at Amaryllis.
"To create something?" Amaryllis answered.
"Not in that book. Creation is when The Lord gives his will and allows anyone to create something," Odin said as he pointed at the book. "In that book. Anything that exists, either a living being or technology, they all exist because he allowed them to exist," Odin added.
"Isn't that just nonsense?" Amaryllis asked with her eyebrows furrowed and looked at the book. "So the book is about praising The Lord? I have never seen or read anything this stupid. Well, other than those books called religion," Amaryllis pointed out.
"Even so, there might be a lot of secrets that we might find inside if you want to stay here and decipher everything together," Odin suggested as he put his hands together and put them in front of his mouth.
"Of course, that's the reason why I came here in the first place. But it might take a while, and I don't want to discuss this here because of the time dilation," Amaryllis said and looked at Odin.
"If that's the case, bring me inside the novel world," Odin smiled as he stood up.
Odin knew what they had been doing and where they had gone since he had been observing them. He knew why Mykel brought his people back and forth because the time dilation gave him the advantage to prepare for everything.
"You can't scheme something without me," Loki appeared and stood on top of a branch on the giant tree. "Let me join you, and I might be able to give a different perspective," Loki said as he landed right in between Odin and Amaryllis.
"Are you two sure about it? Your disappearance might raise suspicion," Amaryllis asked as she looked at both of them.
"Who dares to peek their noses at the almighty Odin? They would assume that he's on his journey to gain more knowledge, as always," Loki answered as she slowly moved closer to Amaryllis to look at the book's cover. "So? Shall we go now?" Loki asked as he stood behind Amaryllis and put his hands on her shoulders and tilted his head to look at her.
Amaryllis opened a portal and they all entered the portal unnoticed by anyone even Heimdall.
When they arrived, Odin and Loki were a bit in disbelief at how the fragments of their memories inside the novel could be so real. They were amazed that a human like Mykel could imagine what heaven should look like.
"I hate to admit it, but this place is prettier than Asgard," Loki said as he looked around. "Speaking of Asgard. Can we go there instead of here?" Loki asked as he looked at Amaryllis.
"Of course," Amaryllis smiled and nodded then brought them to Asgard.
This time, Odin was impressed by the mind of Mykel who created all of the nine realms that looked similar to the real nine realms. He entered the palace and it was somewhat nostalgic, and the fact the guards were still there waiting for Odin's arrival.
"I feel like... I'm home," Odin said.
"Welcome home," Amaryllis said as she smiled at Odin.
