Destiny Mission of game 'Star Ring'-Chapter 1544 - 1225: Favoritism
As soon as he entered, he saw the officers from various countries of the Second Birthplace and the senior officers of the Imperial Army angrily confronting the people of the Mechanical Empire.
In the crowd of the Mechanical Empire, a man dressed in V-series Mechanical Armor with an arrogant expression, pointed directly at them, giving a thumbs-up, which he then turned downward.
"This is what you are."
"You!"
The eyes of many NCOs present were bloodshot as they glared angrily at the arrogant man in front of them.
"What’s wrong with me? I’m Horien, and I’m laying down the law today. This mining area belongs to our Mechanical Empire. Get lost if you know what’s good for you, or I’ll deal with you every time I see you."
Horien said with a cold smile.
"So damn arrogant, let’s see if I don’t deal with you."
Several officers present were almost furious, all wanting to go up and deal with Horien, but were promptly stopped by their adjutants behind them.
After all, the dominance of the Mechanical Empire is well-known, and their fists are right in front of them.
Behind Horick stood fully armed subordinates.
At this point, Lin Ming suppressed his anger and spoke.
"This mining area was clearly a deserted area left by Star Ring City, and everyone can come and mine. Why is it yours? This is too much."
"Oh, and who are you?"
Horien sneered as he looked at Lin Ming. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
Lin Ming, struggling to suppress his anger, said to Horien, "I am Admiral Lin Ming of the Federation."
"What the hell has it got to do with you? Do you have a say here?"
The disdain on Horien’s face grew even more pronounced.
"You raided our mining area for no reason, and even killed our people? Don’t you think you owe us an explanation?"
"Haha, you barbarians, do you really think that by entering the system of Star Ring City, you’re somebody special?"
Horien laughed so hard his stomach ached, finding it utterly ridiculous that these guys really thought of themselves as important figures.
While this mining area is ownerless, it’s also been marked by our Mechanical Empire.
It’s not unusual for countries from the First Birthplace to come over and take a share, since they are all competitors.
The Second Birthplace got swept, and it’s not surprising they’re here to dispute it, given that they’re old adversaries.
But when did the garbage of the Third Birthplace dare to come and compete, really thinking they are something special.
"Watch your language, you’re being so unreasonable and even killed our people, openly defying the laws of Star Ring City, aren’t you afraid of being sanctioned?"
"So what if your people died, isn’t death a normal thing on Ceres? I’m telling you today, know your place, and leave quickly. If you’re not sensible, it won’t be simple next time."
Horien arrogantly issued a threat to Lin Ming.
Lin Ming’s left hand unconsciously clenched into a fist, his bones creaking, and his face turning red with anger. If not for his rational mind telling him not to engage directly, he would’ve already hit the guy.
However, the word ’barbarian’ not only stabbed the Federation and Alliance but also provoked the Imperial Army.
In an instant, many people on the sides of the Imperial Army and Alliance couldn’t hold back anymore.
"What did you say! Who’s the barbarian?"
...
"I meant you all, what about it?"
Horien was just that arrogant.
Immediately, all the countries in the Third Birthplace were furious, and they wanted to rush up to deal with Horien’s men.
The countries of the Second Birthplace, however, restrained themselves, having had frequent conflicts with the Mechanical Empire and knowing how formidable they are, they were relatively less impulsive.
At this moment, a voice shouted.
"What are you doing?"
The impending conflict scene immediately calmed down.
Everyone looked over and saw a middle-aged man walking in, wearing V-series Mechanical Armor and draped in a Star Ring City Colonel’s uniform jacket.
The Colonel walked to the center and directly said, "I am Colonel Newick of Star Ring City! What are you doing here!"
At this time, Lin Ming immediately stepped forward and said, "Esteemed Colonel Newick, we were just mining here peacefully. But the people of the Mechanical Empire came and cleared us out indiscriminately, even killing our people. This area isn’t theirs, we ask you to uphold justice for us."
"Yes, sir! Please help us uphold justice."
The countries of the Third Birthplace all said.
But the people of the Second Birthplace looked at the expression of Newick which was somewhat unnatural, each one hesitating to say anything.
Horien had a mocking smile on his face as he watched all this.
At this moment, Newick turned his head to Horien and said, "Explain what’s going on here."
"Sir, don’t listen to their nonsense. This mining area was originally discovered by us and was the first area we occupied. These guys took advantage of us not paying attention and invaded our mining area, and then had the nerve to claim we’re the barbarians! As for the accusation that we killed their men, that’s pure nonsense, who saw it?"
Horien replied indifferently.
"You’re full of it, I saw with my own eyes your men deliberately threw the blast bomb over."
One Alliance soldier on the scene shouted with red eyes.
"What’s wrong with us using blast bombs to mine? Who told you to jump around in our mining area?"
Horien argued directly.
"You....."
The soldier was so angry, his eyes turned red.
"Enough! I have understood the matter, Star Ring City clearly has a law that states, whoever mines first owns it, and malicious occupation is prohibited. In this matter, you’re not in the right."
Newick unhesitatingly sided with Horien.
Lin Ming and others turned black with anger. Everyone knew that this mining area was found by an adventurer. That adventurer dug for a bit and then returned to the Revalclus Base, not planning to mine further.
Subsequently, the news got spread, and everyone rushed here to mine.
There’s simply no logical sense of ownership here, and Newick was clearly biased towards the other side.
Lin Ming gritted his teeth and said.
"Sir, you’re being biased."
"Right!"
Everyone echoed.
"Huh? Do you dare to question me?"
Newick looked unfavorably at Lin Ming and the others.
For a moment, everyone fell silent, one by one, angry but not daring to speak, not daring to make a sound.
"I also think you’re being biased."
Just then an abrupt voice sounded.
The crowd was slightly stunned, and then looked over, only to see Su Mo walking out of the crowd.
"Su Mo, what are you doing here?"
Lin Ming was also surprised.
"I just happened to be passing by. So, what’s happening?"
Su Mo walked over to Lin Ming, asking in a low voice. As soon as he came over and heard Lin Ming say that the other side was biased, he immediately stood with Lin Ming.
"The people of the Mechanical Empire seized our mining area, and even killed our people, and that officer is biased towards them."
Lin Ming simply explained to Su Mo.
After listening, Su Mo’s face turned dark, his expression displeased as he looked at the other party.
"And who are you? What right do you have to question me?"
Newick asked with a slight frown.
