With his plan sorted out, Glory-2 picked up Glory-3 and dashed towards Reflex’s position.

Glory-2 had his red crystal armor covering his whole body. He was also producing red and blue lightning all over the armor because of the forcefield accelerating him.

He was very fast, so even though he was noticed, there was nothing much that could be done to stop him from reaching his goal.

He broke into the headquarters in less than a second and found Reflex with about 20 others within it. The headquarters was a large building with a single room.

It looked like an office floor. Everyone was working at different tables. There were large monitors hung on the walls and an array of computers lining the walls below the monitors.

The people in the room were junior heroes. Most of them were F-rank, so they were largely inconsequential. They didn’t even notice that he had entered the building.

When the shadows got within sight of Reflex, Glory-3 used Mind Domination on him and knocked him out instantly.

Without the assistance of the Count to shield him, he stood no chance at all. His eyes rolled, and he slumped to the ground.

Glory-2 rushed over to him and grabbed him even before he could fall over after being knocked out. Then he rushed out with him in the direction of the wilds.

By this time, Reflex’s protectors had noticed that someone was making a move on Reflex. It was their speedster that noticed Glory-2 first.

The young lady in a red costume shouted to the others, "It is happening. It is happening, people. Reflex has been had."

She was already chasing after Glory-2 as soon as she noticed him. Her warning had been through the communication link between them. She wasted no time at all.

Unfortunately, being quick to notice didn’t mean she could catch up to Glory-2. Glory-2 was carrying Reflex, which had a negligible effect on his speed. Glory-3 had no effect whatsoever since he was a shadow and had no weight.

Glory-2 was too fast for her, which is a good thing for her because if she had caught up to him, he would have killed her easily with one explosive punch.

But her warning was not in vain. The other supers were able to get into action.

The mark that one of them had put onto Reflex was activated. The super that put the mark on him used the mark to teleport beside him.

It was a lady that appeared. Her name is Sky. She had been tasked to protect Reflex from something like this.

She has a powerful Omega ability that helps her traverse vast distances instantly. With her mark on Reflex, she will always be able to find him.

But she can do more than that. She can also use her mark to bring others to her. As long as they are not held down by someone or something, she can bring them over to her location.

She used that ability now. Many Supers began to appear around Glory-2. He was going to be surrounded and captured.

Unfortunately, it took some time for her to use her mark to appear around Reflex and then use her mark to bring others to her location. That was enough time for the shadows to act.

Glory-3 stunned Sky and every super that appeared around him. Sky herself managed to resist the overwhelming pain due to most of her power being in her mind, but she became unable to use her ability.

She wasn’t knocked out, but she became useless. The rest of them didn’t fare any better. Only one other super managed to remain level-headed after the mental attack.

This super was also a lady. She was floating in the air with her ability. There was a faint green light around her that matched her green hair and green eyes.

This green light dimmed after she was struck by the mental attack, but it didn’t go out. She continued to float in the air.

Even before the mental attack was launched by Glory-3, Glory-2 was already attacking the lady that teleported people over to her position. With her preoccupied with dealing with the mental attack, she couldn’t defend herself from the attack.

He swung his fist at her. But then a green light appeared around her to block his attack.

His fist and the green barrier clashed. Red and blue lightning from his fist ignited and exploded.

Despite the powerful explosion, the green barrier didn’t cave in. It flickered but didn’t give in.

The lady that made the barrier is the green lady with telekinesis ability. She is very strong for her to be capable of resisting his mental attack. She showed that power again by resisting his punch.

But Glory-2 has other advantages other than strength. He also has a powerful defense and an extreme speed. His fist flashed with lightning, and he was able to punch the barrier with barely any time in between.

After the second punch, the explosion ripped through the green shield and engulfed Sky. His fist smashed into her and caused her to fly into the distance.

He had only injured her partially because the telekinetic super had pulled her back from him at the last moment. But he had injured her, and that was good enough for him.

He ignored her and continued to escape. Meanwhile, Glory-4 used Life Siphon on Sky. He ripped her life force from her injured body, which led to her death a few seconds later.

His attack was hidden. It couldn’t be detected or blocked.

His figure was also hidden. Since he didn’t need a sightline to use his ability on a target, he was hiding far away when he killed Sky.

There was barely any delay for Glory-2 because of the appearance of Sky and her reinforcements. He escaped outside of the city while the telekinetic supers and the speedster chased after him.

Their chase was futile since they couldn’t catch up to him. So they returned to bring a tracker to catch him. It was when they returned that they realized that Sky was dead.

Sky was just like Reflex and the Count. She was an Omega, so she was very important to her hero society.

They had concocted this scheme because a soothsayer had said that Reflex would be attacked by the Count’s killer. They wanted to protect Reflex and capture the killer if possible or kill him.

They didn’t expect that they would fail in achieving any of their objectives but also lose one of their most important assets.

The speedster began to fidget when they found Sky dead. She said, "What do we do now? The boss will be pissed."

The green telekinetic said, "It wasn’t our fault. The enemy was too strong, and he had a helper."

"As for what we do next, it is to track Reflex and his kidnapper immediately."

The supers around her agreed. Then they gathered around their tracker and followed him out into the wilds.

While they were doing this, Kelvin himself was standing on top of a skyscraper watching them.

He had witnessed the whole fight. Now that he has escaped with his prize, he has become greedy for more.

Specifically, he has become greedy for this telekinetic ability. He was contemplating if he should give hunting her a try while Glory-4 siphoned life force from them to test their resistance.

He discovered that three of them were not affected by Life Siphon. Glory-4 couldn’t siphon the life force of the speedster, the one that appeared to be a null, and the green super with telekinesis.

It made him rethink his chances of success. "She is the strongest and most dangerous. Not only is she immune to Life Siphon, but she is also resistant to Mind Domination and diamond blades."

"I should be able to take her eventually. Unfortunately, she has reinforcements, and we are right in the city."

"I should at least wait for them to leave the city. That way, the other heroes won’t interfere, and they won’t get reinforcements."

He can cut off their tracking by getting rid of Reflex, Glory-2, and Glory-3. But he wants to lead her to the wilds where she won’t be able to get reinforcement.

She is just too powerful to take down quickly, which means a fight with her can be interfered with. But he is unwilling to give up on her because of her strength.

Just the force field on her body alone is enough to nullify diamond blade, mental domination, and life siphon. It makes her a worthy opponent.

Then there is her ability to create barriers and move things with her mind. It makes her a difficult opponent.
