"Who are you scolding?" Bai Jingqing turns to him.

"I... I’m scolding myself, scolding myself." Huangfu Ye answers helplessly.

"Drink with me!" Bai Jingqing shoves a bottle of alcohol into his hand and Huangfu Ye takes a big gulp.

"That’s a good boy." Bai Jingqing lightly pats his face.

Huangfu Ye remains silent.

Looks like he’s really going to get drunk this time.

Huangfu Ye escorts the drunken Bai Jingqing to a nearby hotel. After tossing him onto the bed, he departs. He then drives to the Bai Family home and calls Bai Qianqian out.

Bai Qianqian steps out to meet him, frowning as she asks, "Why are you here?"

Could something have happened to Bai Jingqing? The thought deepens her frown.

"Come with me to see my second brother." Huangfu Ye pulls her into the car.

"I can’t go!" Bai Qianqian forcibly pulls her hand back. She can’t meet Bai Jingqing again.

"What happened to him?" Bai Qianqian is startled by Huangfu Ye’s words, her heart skipping a beat.

"You’ll know when you see him!" Huangfu Ye drives towards the hotel.

When they arrive at the hotel’s underground parking lot, Huangfu Ye drags Bai Qianqian up to the suite where Bai Jingqing is. He opens the door for her and says, "My second brother is in there. I’ll leave him in your care. I won’t let you two out until tomorrow morning!"

Bai Qianqian is pushed into the room. She turns to open the door but finds it has been locked by Huangfu Ye from the outside.

Behind her, Bai Jingqing is groaning in pain. Even though Bai Qianqian knows she shouldn’t see him, she just can’t help herself.

She keeps telling herself that it’s not her fault; it was Huangfu Ye who forced her to come. Surely, she can’t be blamed for that, right?

Turning around, Bai Qianqian sees Bai Jingqing lying on the large bed, surrounded by vomit and looking terribly pained.

Bai Qianqian quickly moves over to him. The bed sheets and floor are a mess and the smell is horrible. It’s filthy.

But Bai Qianqian doesn’t care. She embraces him, supporting him as she helps him get up from the bed, saying, "Ah Qing, let’s go to the bathroom."

"No...I want Qianqian...who are you? Why are you calling me Ah Qing? Only Qianqian can call me that." Bai Jingqing speaks angrily.

"Alright, I won’t call you that anymore." Bai Qianqian laughs. It’s the first genuine laughter she’s shared since learning about Gu Qingxin’s pregnancy. She never expected Bai Jingqing to be so adorable when drunk.

"You’re so well-behaved, just like my Qianqian." Bai Jingqing’s heavier than she thought, and he stumbles.

Bai Qianqian musters all her strength to steady him, leading him to the bathroom.

They stumble into the bathroom together and Bai Jingqing looks at her with a puzzled expression. Bai Qianqian starts filling up the tub.

He needs to take a bath first.

After the water is ready, Bai Qianqian goes back to help remove his soiled clothes. However, Bai Jingqing is extremely drunk and nurses a look of innocence, clueless about what he should do.
