Chapter 1019: Chapter 736 Olivia’s Four Questions_2

Morning.

Roger mingled with the crowd in the small border town of the Federation.

Compared to the kingdom opposite, the environment here was much worse, but relatively speaking, the law and order were better, the residents had higher happiness, and everything seemed to be heading in a better direction.

Occasionally, he could see some collapsed houses and hear snippets of supernatural events. Information exchange was not cut off. Although a large population had left, the situation was far from as bad as Roger imagined.

Soon, while wandering, Roger received a message from Ox. After meeting, the two set off together for the nearby Rock City.

"There are four people meeting Olivia this time. I don’t know the details of the other three, only that there are two men and one woman remaining, each skilled in different areas."

Ox sat in the front driving the carriage, talking to Roger about the information in his hands.

Roger was not worried about his own abilities. What he cared about was how to disguise himself. For this, he deliberately suppressed his soul fluctuation, trying to maintain himself at the Second Tier level.

It’s not that he couldn’t break through, but once you enter the Third Tier in this world, you will inevitably connect with the Soul Realm.

At this critical juncture, Roger didn’t want to invite trouble.

Aside from this trip’s information, along the way, Roger also pointed out many misconceptions in Ox’s cultivation.

When it came to combat skills and the development of physical potential, Roger was definitely at the peak, even just a few words greatly benefited Ox.

Their pace wasn’t fast, and it was near evening when they arrived at the gray city gate.

Rock City was built against the mountains, serving as the second line of defense inward from the border. Its geographical location made it easy to defend but hard to attack, and this very fact made the city rigid.

After entering the city, they were directly taken to the Lord’s Mansion and didn’t meet again until the next day when they were all taken to Harp Manor.

After entering the manor, Ox was left in the outer hall while Roger, led by guards, went deep inside the manor.

It’s said the manor’s previous owner was a musician renowned throughout the Federation before selling all his assets in pursuit of the Transcendent.

The entire manor was elegant and discreet, many decorations were perfectly tasteful. Walking along, Roger casually swept his gaze without seeing much defensive force.

"Please come in."

As the door opened, upon seeing the scene inside, Roger was slightly taken aback.

It wasn’t the expected roundtable meeting. The table was indeed round but filled with sumptuous food. Besides him, the other three were already present.

Facing Roger on the left were two men, one about 50 years old, with a kind face. His attire was somewhat similar to a suit from another world—clean and neat but not overly formal.

Next to the elder was a balding fat man, who seemed to have seen little sunshine; his pale skin appeared somewhat creepy.

Roger entered, and the sunlight streaming through the crack seemed too glaring, causing him to squirm impatiently, as if unable to bear staying still for even a moment.

The fat man was curled up, so Roger couldn’t see his face. With a casual glance, Roger began walking to the only vacant seat.

There were only five chairs at the table, with the head seat undoubtedly reserved for Olivia, while beside that empty chair sat the only woman present.

A voluptuous woman with green hair and a curvaceous figure.

"If I were you, I wouldn’t sit there."

Just as Roger approached, without lifting her head, the green-haired woman spoke. Hearing her, the two men opposite even subconsciously leaned back slightly.

But almost the instant she finished speaking, Roger calmly sat down and then scanned the three people at the table.

"My name is Roger, an Alchemist. What do you all go by?"

"Didn’t you hear what I said?"

A cold snort sounded beside him.

Roger turned slightly, flashed a grin, "I heard you, thanks for the reminder."

He then turned to look at the two men opposite, giving them an inquisitive glance.

"I’m Fellman, a doctor."

The elder replied, his voice unhurried.

"Werner... Shapeshifter." The fat man said hesitantly.

"Valanie, the top Pharmacist!"

The woman snorted coldly, "Alchemy, do you really think the so-called ancient ruins contain knowledge surpassing what we have now?"

Though unsure of the source of this woman’s hostility, being targeted repeatedly was unpleasant, and just as Roger was about to retort, his peripheral vision caught an unexpected figure on the main seat.

"When did that happen?"

Roger let out a small noise of surprise, this emotional upheaval drew the attention of the others, who then saw Olivia seated at the head.

"What, not interested in the lunch prepared for you by the kitchen?"

Hearing Olivia, besides Roger, the other two turned their gaze to the green-haired Valanie.

"Don’t look at me, I’m a Pharmacist. Although I’m better at concocting poisons, that doesn’t mean I’d really do anything."

She finished, giving Roger a fleeting glance, "Except certain fraudsters!"

"Since there’s no issue, let’s eat and chat."

Olivia showed no sign of host-like restraint, she began eating, but after a few bites, no one else touched the food.

"Since you don’t want to enjoy life, help me solve a problem."

Olivia lightly tapped the table, soon someone brought a tray, atop the shimmering metal tray lay an envelope for each, labeled with everyone’s name.

"I’ve encountered a dilemma and need your help to solve it."

The paper was pale yellow, sealed with a red wax stamp, clearly bearing Olivia’s family crest.

Roger opened the envelope and pulled out the paper, but before he could examine it, a suppressed yelp echoed beside him.

"What kind of question is this?"

Valanie stood up excitedly, waving her arms, the airborne papers rustling. As Roger was very close, he looked up but couldn’t see any text on the paper.

"What’s going on, pulled a Wordless Heavenly Scripture..."

"Or perhaps... the words are visible only to us?" Roger pondered in confusion.

But besides Valanie, the other two also didn’t look pleased, evidently, Olivia’s problem seemed quite challenging.

With curiosity, Roger unfolded his paper, and three seconds later, nearly spat blood in shock.

"Do you have a Fertility Potion?"

"The kind that can impregnate 10,000 women..."

Well, linking it to the earlier scene he saw, and the question on the note, Roger couldn’t guess the specific content on the other three notes:

But presumably, it all had something to do with Olivia’s so-called plan.

"Why, is the problem difficult?"

Olivia raised her head and paused, she seemed hungry, speaking while still chewing.

But just a calm glance, a simple question.

After a few seconds, Olivia’s superficial poise faded, leaving an undeniable air of leadership.

She slowly wiped her mouth, her tone became solemn, "Can’t do it?"

Valanie’s face flushed with embarrassment.

"Lady Olivia, it’s not about whether it can be done, but your question is too bizarre, lacking practical reference."

"Any unrealistic question is meaningless, it’s futile."

"You ask if I can make a creature more virile than a hundred oxen?!"

In her agitation, the veins bulged on Valanie’s face, "Respected Lady Olivia, tell me, what’s the point of such a hypothesis?"

"Alright."

After taking a few deep breaths, Valanie spread her hands, "Even if I could, then what?"

"In heat, you’ll have to deal with it, right?"

While maintaining a serious demeanor, Roger, who was nearly cracking up inside, was intensely curious about the other two questions Olivia had posed.

Looks like this woman is really playing for keeps!
