Demon CEO's Hidden Love: Mr Grayson Stole Me From My Abusive Husband-Chapter 327: A Gift I Prepared Specially For You
Luther’s ears stood up at the sound of the room pushed open, he reached for his empty food bowl on the table. He tried to pick up the glass of water, but ended up knocking it over, shattering it to pieces.
"I see starving you for two days had no effect, you’re still quite springy." Thane announced, as he walked into the room.
Luther’s heart skipped a beat. His grip on the bowl faltered, letting the round item roll miserably off the bed! "Shit! I didn’t mean to!" he panicked, and tried to pick it up, nearly falling over into the broken pieces on the ground.
Thane waved his hands, gesturing the men standing behind him to gather the broken pieces, and tuck Luther into bed.
"What? What is this?!" he cried as they strapped him to the bed, rendering him more immobile than before.
He diverted his teary gaze to the man who he assumed was the boss here, "Why are you doing this to me? Please! Let me go home!" he pleaded.
Once his men finished the clean up, he walked over to Luther, keeping a civil distance between them. "What home? The only place you’ll go to is prison, and that’s if your enemies don’t catch you first." he informed him.
"I don’t care! That will be better than being treated like an animal here!" Luther argued, shaking as violently as he could, but even then, he still could not put up much of a fight, not when he was parched and starved for two days.
Thane waited till he tired himself, over his pants, he asked, "Would you like to see what your darling daughter has gotten herself into over the past few months?" he baited him.
Luther sharply turned his head, "Show me! The people here won’t tell me anything! Please, what is happening to my family?"
"So, you’ve learned how to wag your tail with just a little training? You really are no different from a dog." The mockery in his tone should have made Luther flare up, but he was too much in a disadvantage to argue.
He looked up at Thane, "Please-"
Thane cut him off by smacking his head, "Keep your head down when speaking to me."
Luther nodded, his tears falling onto the dirtied sheets.
"Please, what is happening with my daughter?" he pleaded, his tone completely submissive.
Thane pulled his phone out, and played an interview Cassie had some months ago. Luther’s heart skipped a beat when he heard his daughter’s voice, a wave of relief washed over him. However, the next sentence out of her mouth made him sick to the stomach.
"Luther Crane? That man is a criminal, who does nothing but harm and deceive people. He even ended up tricking me into thinking I’m his daughter, it’s a good thing I learned the truth-"
"What the hell is this?! What are you people making her say?" he raged, but the interview kept playing.
"Please, I hope that everyone that man has hurt will find peace." she sighed over the phone, "I am so thankful to be able to find my actual father, he gave me strength to move on even after all I’ve been through." She went on, about to introduce him.
Luther looked truly tortured as he listen to his daughter not only deny him but name someone else as her father.
"Turn this shit off, please." his voice cracked, but Thane was far from done.
"Oh, you need to pay attention, this is the best part. A gift I prepared especially for you." he placed the phone closer, bringing his speaker to his ear.
A reporter asked her about her father, and in front of everyone there Cassie announced his identity, "My father, my real father who Luther took away from me is..."

Serena placed her palm over her cheek, her eyes widened in stun.
"C-Cassie?" she voiced out in stun.
She looked across the room, trying to find out what could be wrong, but her gaze returned to Cassie’s irritated gaze.
"Cassie, my love, what’s wrong-"
Cassie cut her off, "You slimy, two faced bitch! How dare you try and make a fool out of me?" she raised her voice, her words like daggers thrown at Serena’s heart.
"I would never try to deceive you! It’s this woman who-" once again, Cassie cut her off. She picked up her phone from the bed and played the recording she had been listening to.
Two Hours Ago
Cassie had been cleared by the doctor to go home, she messaged her assistant to have the car brought around, and instructed her to call her mother and uncle. However, after thirty minutes of waiting, not only did the car not arrive, but her assistant came into her room, a worried look on her face.
"What the hell? Where is my mother?" she demanded.
Her assistant, approached her, "There is something I have to show you, but I am afraid you’ll get mad at me."
"What is it? Don’t waste my time." she snapped at her, irritated.
Nervously, she took her phone out of her purse and turned on what seemed to be a live recording, she heard some background noise from the television, and the unmistakable sound of heels clacking against the flooring.
"What is this-" before she could finish speaking, she heard her mother cackling.
"Brooke’s finally going to get what’s coming to her. And that bitchy assistant is finally going to be out of our hair for good." she heard her say.
She looked to her assistant, "What is playing?"
"Wiretaps, I had some placed in your living room." she confessed.
"Why?!" she demanded.
She stuttered, "B-Because, I heard your mother and uncle speak behind your back the other day, but I didn’t know how to tell you."
Cassie shook her head, "That isn’t true, you really are trying to stir up trouble aren’t you?!" she got up.
She held her phone to her ear to call her mother, but Serena’s voice over the recording left her completely stunned.
"Cassie? Please! She’s the easiest broad to handle! I could hold a gun in one hand and convince her you were the one who pulled the trigger!" she said.
Cassie’s phone fell out of her loosened grip.
"W-What?" was all she could say.
The conversation took a turn for the worse, "That’s just how gullible my darling cash cow is."
Cassie’s jaw hit the floor, she nearly stumbled from the shock, but Hannah held her shoulders, "Ma’am! Are you okay? Please, contain yourself." she desperately pleaded, however the menacing grin on her face was a stark contrast to the tone of her voice.
