Demi-human Girls Completion Manual-Chapter 1118 - 97: The Scam from Ten Thousand Years Ago (Part 4)
"The Gospel Relics commonly forged by Angels rely on forging materials imbued with the Reverberation of rules. These rules seem intrinsically linked to the powers of those unseen yet still existent Divine beings. Among them, there is a gospel called the Life Gospel, which, as its name suggests, involves incorporating living beings possessing Life Authority during forging. Such Gospel Relics are explicitly forbidden by the Holy Land..."
Chun still hadn’t quite grasped the key point, and asked in confusion,
"Life Gospel...but if it’s to infuse Lord Ramasitia’s Power, can’t ordinary animals suffice? Why include these sentient creatures?"
"... Uh, hold on, it seems that there are Gospel Relics that incorporate Reverberation creatures during forging. But in any case, Angels explicitly prohibit the inclusion of Humans or demi-humans in the forging process. I’m not entirely sure why; perhaps it’s because the god you believe in, something like Ra... Rasha prefers sentient beings?"
"Hold on, hold on, Lord Chun, Mikhail, you two are here to exchange forging techniques... Now, the issue is dealing with these Snake People; they’ve been deceived by Sorobato and didn’t have good intentions with your Ideal Country."
Hearing this, Chun was slightly taken aback. He glanced around at the captives around him, then at the trembling Kakaro and his Snake People on their knees, and couldn’t help but sigh. After pausing for a moment, he spoke,
"You’ve been deceived by Angels; not even the beings who created them can grant you the so-called legitimacy. This land belongs to another master whose name you don’t know. He despises any organized settlement and advocates for primal wildness and freedom. Your nation would face utter destruction on the day it is established... Release all the captives here. I intend to take them back to the Ideal Country."
It was Fisher’s first time learning about the ideology of the Fermat Baha Dragon God, explaining why the Dragon Continent had such a barbaric atmosphere and why there were so few regimes like the Ideal Country; it was because of the Dragon God. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
Yet if Moli were present, she would surely ridicule the Fermat Baha Dragon God, as she, who is always in the company of the God of Hundred Forms, knows full well the actions of the Dragon God. When his offspring, the Dragon-man Species are born, he seems to forget his advocacy for wildness and freedom, quietly helping them establish one of the world’s greatest empires, one that would carry his name through history—the Fermat Baha Dragon Court.
At this moment, Fisher did not know the specific reasons, but at least knew that among these three Demigods, only "Fermat Baha" remained known in his era.
As for Chun, he did not hold the Angels-deceived Snake People accountable, or rather, his benevolent nature had no desire to punish others for acting against his wishes.
In front of him, Kakaro looked at Chun, opened his mouth and flicked his tongue, then suddenly made a decision that went against his ancestors. He suddenly bowed his head and said devoutly to Chun,
"Great Lord, please forgive our previous ignorance. On behalf of myself and the Snake People here, I humbly seek your protection and request to join your nation. Even though we’ve realized Sorobato Angels have deceived us, we are powerless against it. We can’t even refuse to provide him materials without incurring punishment. I am willing to persuade my brother and request that our entire tribe merge into the Ideal Country.
"Sorobato Angel... there’s an unfinished Holy Object in our cave that he asked us to guard. Although we don’t know the exact method, he seems to value the Holy Object within the cave. I am willing to offer it, along with a vow never to eat humans again and to accept the punishment of becoming a slave, humbly hoping for your acceptance, just to protect my people."
Chun raised an eyebrow upon hearing this and looked at those around him who expressed no opinion. Only Mikhail replied, perhaps intentionally or unintentionally,
"Should we ask Margaret?"
"...No need, she will agree."
Chun replied speechlessly, then he glanced at the sun setting into the ocean, alongside the rising bright full moon in the distance, realizing his previous promise of a swift return now had to be scrapped.
He didn’t hesitate and addressed those around him,
"In that case, I would like to trouble you to help me handle things here. Mikhail, you and I will check on the captives; Hooked kiss, gather all the Snake People here, those flawed Gospel Relics... I’m planning to take them back to the Ideal Country for future use; Fisher, could you take care of the unfinished Holy Object?"
Chun’s words were seldom orders, and Fisher and the others were more than willing to follow his suggestions, especially since they had nothing better to do here.
Fisher patted the camel beneath him and followed a leading Snake Person into the cave, while Hooked kiss cheerfully clapped his hands, signaling Kakaro to gather all the Snake People. Chun, on the other hand, moved to the cages in the distance, which held no less than a hundred low-ranking demi-humans, many of whom were injured. He needed to free and heal them.
Only Mikhail stood in place, suddenly scratching his head, looking at the somber moonlight and pondering,
"Wait, something seems off... What was the original purpose of our outing again?"
