Dark Magus Returns-Chapter 1783: The End and Start of Another World

Raze had made a promise to himself, that he would do whatever he could to protect Alterian and Pagna, his two homes. Any enemy he faced, anything that he came across, he would protect it from the dangers that threatened it.

After having become the strongest in the Divine realm, Raze's job, as well as his research, didn't stop there. He continued to look for ways to enhance his magic, and as if the world wanted to throw challenges his way, he had to continue to face them.

The portals opening up on Pagna would send a constant stream of enemies for him to face. Those powerful from other worlds tested Raze with everything he had, forcing him to give his all each time in order to protect it.

Sometimes it wasn't just beings, but there were also giant beasts of unimaginable power that would enter, and the only person with the strength to defend against them was Raze himself.

At first, one of the main issues was that even he was limited by its restrictions. If an enemy came to Pagna, it meant he would have to fight while being weaker than he originally was.

But eventually, Raze had found a way to still utilise his full power, and he didn't share that method with anyone in the Divine realm, because it was a danger, a danger to them all if these beings found out how it was possible to descend.

So the secret was kept with him, and since Raze had become the strongest, not a single person was able to do anything about him keeping that secret to himself.

Years went past, and those he cared about still lived, so he continued to protect everything, even if the name Dark Magus would become lesser known amongst them all as time went on.

The world moved forward, people lived their lives, and while stories of the past faded, Raze remained where he was, continuing to do what he had set out to do.

Inside the Divine realm, in the largest manor, there was a large giant globe that was almost metallic. It allowed for Raze to use his magic to look through and see everything that was happening on Pagna, including disturbances that were taking place.

It was through this that he could keep watch over everything, making sure nothing slipped past him.

And that's when he felt something.

As he looked through, he could see that two people had arrived. Immediately he could tell that these were not warriors of Pagna, they were outsiders and one had even changed his appearance. One thing he did know, was that these would be some of the toughest enemies that he would have to face, but he had bested everyone that had come for him, and come for Pagna so far.

"There has been a lot of trouble recently, and those after my life for no reason I know of… are these part of them as well?" Raze thought. "I guess I should make an appearance. They feel dangerous."

There was no hesitation in his actions.

When Raze entered the area, he froze time all around them, as he went to meet the two of them.

Everything stood still.

The air, the movement, even the smallest details had come to a complete halt.

'I promised to protect Pagna, no matter who I face. That is my will, that is my goal. I am Raze Cromwell, and even if I vanish from this world, I promise, I will return.'

His resolve had never changed.

Not from the moment he had made that promise, and not even now, when he would be needed the Dark Magus would always Return.

Thank you for reading the end of Dark Magus. It's always sad when a story ends, and I can't imagine never being able to visit or write about these characters again. Sometimes I wish these stories could continue on forever, but they have to have an end.

Some people have asked if I will write another Dark Magus, and currently I have no plans, but I won't say never. You might have wondered why I didn't go through the Divine realm, and the truth is I had never planned to.

This was a story about Raze's main quest for revenge, and how he had grown as a character through it, learning that now he wished to protect, and the end of the story showed that he had managed to accomplish both of those things.

However, I have several works that I will now be putting my full focus on.
