Dark Evolution Begins with Marrying an SSS-CLASS Blind Monster-Chapter 150: Devilius
In an old, dimly lit, basement, was nothing more than an empty room with a few crates scattered around. However, hidden in the shadows was a figure of a young man, carrying a silver-haired young girl.
The figure was none other than the devil boy, and he had Elven Princess Alisa in his arms. He carefully put the princess down on the floor, her body was still unconscious, and her breathing was steady, and the dark aura was still surrounding her.
’Hah... Finally, we are alone.’ He had escaped from the knight boy, and he had finally managed to bring the princess to the meeting point. ’And that guard who was following me must have crashed into the tower looking at how he hasn’t appeared yet. Good.’
"Hey boss, where are you? I’m here." The devil boy called out to the muscular man, the leader of the group. But, he got no response.
’Huh? Why is boss not responding? Is he not here yet?’ He looked around the room, searching for any signs of the muscular man, but there was none. ’Maybe, he is still busy with the guards? Tch, how troublesome.’
"Hah... I should just wait for him to come here." And with that, he sat on the floor and rested his back on the wall, his gaze focused on the sleeping princess.
’Hmm... She is so cute. I bet her family will pay a huge amount of money for her.’ As he stared at the sleeping princess, he started to think about the reward he was going to get from the muscular man.
’I will be rich! I will finally be able to leave the orphanage and live my own life.’ He smiled, his expression filled with anticipation. But it wasn’t long before his smile faded, his gaze turning somber.
’I wonder, why am I doing this? Am I really doing the right thing?’ For a brief moment, the devil boy wondered if he was doing the right thing, if kidnapping the princess was the right choice.
’But then, maybe, I will be able to have friends and a good life if I’m rich.’ He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. ’No, this is the right thing to do. It’s for the greater good.’
He continued to sit there, his gaze fixed on the princess. ’Sorry! I just want to have a better life. Please, forgive me.’ And with that, the devil boy remained seated on the cold, hard floor, his thoughts drifting away, lost in the darkness of his mind.
’I want to have my revenge, I want to have friends, and I want to feel love. So, please forgive me for this.’ ’Please... forgive me...’
Meanwhile, the Elven princess was having a strange dream.
In Alisa’s dream, everything was awash in shades of vibrant green. She stood beneath a lush canopy of trees, their leaves rustling gently in the breeze.
Pink petals, as delicate as silk, descended like confetti from the emerald branches above. Her master, a figure of grace and elegance, stood before her, one hand extended to caress her cheek.
As she gazed into his eyes, the sound of the wind’s gentle whisper mixed with the rhythmic cadence of a heartbeat. The world around her seemed to pulsate with life, and she could feel her own heart racing with emotions.
"Master," she murmured, her voice filled with a deep adoration that resonated like a melodious tune in the forest.
"I know," her beloved master replied, his smile as warm as the sun’s rays filtering through the leaves.
"Then, why did you abandon me?" Alisa’s voice quivered with sorrow, and suddenly, a sharp pain pierced her chest. She crumpled to the ground, clutching her heart, her breath ragged and labored.
"What... What is this?" Her eyes widened in terror as she gasped for air.
"Alisa," her master’s gentle voice echoed through her mind.
"Master," she murmured longingly, her voice trembling. "Don’t you love me anymore?" she asked, her voice desperate.
"What? No, of course, I do... not." Her master’s voice turned icy, filled with disdain.
"M-Master?"
"I’m sorry, but there is only one person I love, and it’s not you," he said, his voice heavy with regret.
"W-What do you mean, Master?"
"I’m sorry, Alisa, but I never loved you. It was all just a lie."
"No, you’re lying."
"I’m sorry," her master’s voice was tinged with sorrow.
"No, it can’t be. It’s just a dream. I’ll wake up, and everything will be fine," Alisa muttered, her voice laced with despair.
"Ok, then. I will be going." Her master said as he moved away from Alisa and stsrted to walk.
"Master NO!!!"
Then, abruptly, her eyes shot open, and she found herself in a dimly lit basement.
’Where am I? What is this place?’ She said to move her hands and legs, but they were paralyzed. ’Wait, what is this? Why can’t I move?’
Then she noticed a dark aura surrounding her body, keeping her in place. ’Ha...’ A sigh escaped her lips, ’Seems like I have been kidnapped by some bad people.’ She was disappointed in herself.
’I can’t believe I got captured. Well, I was dreaming about master so I think it is fine. But, where am I?’ Her eyes scanned the room, trying to find a way to escape.
Suddenly, her gaze fell on a young boy, sitting on the floor and leaning his back on the wall. ’Who is he? Is he the one who kidnapped me? He looks like a kid.’
The young boy, Devillius, was looking at his palms, a look of sadness in his eyes. "Boss, are you still not here?" He sighed, his tone filled with impatience. "Dammit! Why isn’t he coming yet?"
"So, you’re the one who kidnapped me?" Princess Alisa asked, her voice tinged with hostility.
"Huh?" Devillius turned to look at her, his expression startled.
"Ah, so you’re awake," the devil boy remarked, his tone neutral.
"Why did you kidnap me?" The Princess asked.
"Well, I need to earn money and I figured your family will pay a lot of money to save you."
’He kidnapped me for money? Does he not know who he is messing with? Should I kill him?... Or maybe...’
The princess’ gaze narrowed, her expression turning cold. "Are you sure about that? If you release me, I promise to give you a reward. A large one."
The devil boy looked at her, his gaze filled with skepticism. "Are you kidding me? Do you think I am stupid? You’re just saying this so that you can escape."
’I gave you a chance but you refused. Well, I guess I have no choice.’ A smile appeared on her face, a sinister glint in her eyes. ’I will just kill you without a trace.’ Suddenly, Princess Alisa’s eyes turned green and a green aur—
Kwachak!
The door of the basement opened, revealing the guard boy, who was following the devil.
"So this is where you were hiding, you little thief!" The boy’s gaze locked onto the devil, his eyes burning with anger.
’Ren?’ Princess Alisa recognized the guard. ’Did he come here for me?’
The devil boy turned around and his gaze landed on the boy, Ren, a look of surprise in his eyes. "You have to be f*cking kidding me. How the hell did you find me?"
"I was able to track your presence," Ren explained, his expression fierce. "And now, you’re going to pay for what you’ve done."
"Oh, is that so? I would like to see how you will do that." The devil boy grinned, his gaze challenging.
"You have underestimated me, little thief," Ren said, his tone firm. "I have something special, and I am going to use it against you."
"Special? Hah, what are you talking about?" The devil boy sneered, his expression mocking. "You will see," Ren replied, a hint of confidence in his tone.
