Chapter 1070: Chapter 275: East Splendor Sects

The Yuan Yang Sect, among the Great Xuanmen Sects, ranks only behind three major sects. When their swordfight disciples arrive, thousands of cultivators along the banks of Chengyuan Gorge step out of their palaces, craning their necks to catch a glimpse of the newcomers.

Pei Luofu also hurried out quickly. Though he is an outer disciple of the Yuan Yang Sect and comes from the same line as Yang Bi and Zhu Xin, he gazes up at the two soaring figures admired by thousands with both envy and aspiration, thinking to himself, "When will I achieve such prestige, without it being a life wasted?"

A cluster of golden light suddenly rises above the peak of Lishan Sect, speeding towards the two True Masters of the Yuan Yang Sect.

With a twist of her charming eyes, Zhu Xin already recognizes the approaching figure. She releases her husband’s hand, meets the newcomer proactively with a sweet smile, and says, "Miss Cao, what brings you here? It should be me visiting you."

The visitor is a beautiful woman appearing to be about thirty, adorned with a hairpin, jade earrings, alluring figure, dressed in Feather Robe, with a Gang Cloud on her head like a jade flower.

Her face is full of gentle smiles, and she lightly grasped Zhu Xin’s hand, saying, "It’s been too long. You seem distant now, sister."

Yang Bi tidies his robe slightly and steps up to greet the woman. This Cao Minrou, True Master, hails from the Da Wei Royal Family, has a close friendship with his wife, and is also a Direct Disciple of the Lishan Sect Ancestor, thus he must treat her with all due respect.

The two women meet, exchanging warm words. Zhu Xin, having not seen Cao Minrou for a long time, feels there is endless conversation to be shared, and therefore shakes her jade hand, saying, "Why don’t you come and rest at my peak, Miss Cao?"

Cao Minrou indeed intended to do so and agrees pleasantly.

Though the Lishan Sect has an Ancestor master overseeing the mountain gate, their power pales in comparison to Great Xuanmen Sects like Shaoqing, Yuxiao, and Mingcang Sect; even Yuan Yang Sect surpasses them. She attends the Sword Fighting Conference without the notion of competing against these sects.

This time is different; the dispute involves Xuanmen and Demon Sect, leaving no room for hesitation. She must find some allies, so they can look out for each other.

Yang Bi and Zhu Xin arrive with two Nascent Soul Elders each for escort, plus Cao Minrou, making a total of seven. They weave through the Gang Wind, part the clouds, and descend upon a mountain range filled with pavilion-like structures to the west.

They land down in front of a temple, Yang Bi’s eyes suddenly flash, turning his head back. The two women seem to sense something too and turn around to look.

Currently, a small mountain-like green jade gourd flies from the sky, covered in talismans that shine dazzlingly. Those with discerning eyes can easily see that this item is not just a simple Flying Device.

A handsome young Daoist in Daoist clothes stands confidently atop the gourd, looking around fifteen or sixteen years old, his hairband and cloak flutter in the wind. Two clusters of Gang Cloud whirl above him, with two calm old men, white-haired and bearded, accompanying him on either side. Moreover, over a dozen Hua Dan Disciples follow distantly behind on flying lotuses.

About a hundred yards away from this Daoist youth, another Daoist of about forty arrives, dressed similarly, indicating they are of the same sect.

Yet, this Daoist is rotund and plump, squint-eyed, unfamiliar to all. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

He stands upon a Flying Bamboo Raft, accompanied by only one Nascent Soul Elder, which pales against the presence of the Daoist youth.

Despite being overshadowed by his fellow sect member’s glory, he doesn’t show any displeasure and instead wears a full smile, cupping his hands to the cultivators on the banks.

Yang Bi’s gaze remains fixed on the head of that Daoist youth, solemnly saying, "This Tong Yingyuan’s Daoist Cultivation is indeed profound, a formidable opponent."

Cao Minrou replies, "It’s not surprising; though he appears youthful, he is of our generation and has been in the path of Enlightenment a hundred years earlier than us. The previous swordfight saw him already enter the Nascent Soul Realm; however, his master had recently passed, with no one to support him, preventing him from participating."

As if sensing everyone’s gaze, Tong Yingyuan suddenly lifts his head, sweeping his eyes over the trio’s faces, snorts softly, and then turns away, extremely arrogant, as if disregarding them.

Zhu Xin, upset, says, "How rude is this person!"

Yang Bi shakes his head with a smile, "My lady, this person is not so shallow. He does so deliberately to provoke us; ignore him. We’ll see what skills he truly has during the swordfight."

Cao Minrou, at this time, lightly stretches her neck, glancing around. Zhu Xin, curiously asks, "Sister, what are you looking for?"

Cao Minrou replies, "The Nanhua Sect and Taihao Sect have always been close. Now that Taihao Sect’s disciples are here, the Nanhua Sect should also have arrived."
