Daoism Revival System: Start with fighting against Debunker Streamer-Chapter 355 - 354: Manjushri in Panic: It’s a Misunderstanding, I’m Not the Culprit! [Part 1]
Both were Bodhisattvas who ascended in the Post-West Heaven Era.
Naturally, there were conflicts of interest among them.
As one of the outstanding new Bodhisattvas, Manjushri had always looked down on the people of Jambudvipa Continent.
He believed that in a one-on-one battle, none like Zang Qing or Minyin were a match for him!
However, they had close ties with people in the Buddha Country and banded together, leading them to not only establish a Dao Field in Jambudvipa Continent but also forcibly insert a Great Xuan Kong Mountain into the barren Southern Heaven Continent!
Such was the scramble for followers and believers.
Naturally, there was mutual animosity between the two sides.
Thus, Manjushri was not surprised by the wary looks from these three, but instead, he sneered inwardly, as he alone made them so tense.
Truly a band of useless people!
"Gentlemen, I have heard that the culprit who destroyed the Great Xuan Kong Mountain has fled to this realm."
"Could it be that the culprit is already within the Golden Alms Bowl?"
Manjushri asked tentatively, his gaze directly on the Golden Alms Bowl nearby.
Earlier, he was too far away.
He only vaguely sensed the presence of battle here, so he left Venerable Sumeru and rushed over by himself.
But he was still a step too late.
The battle had ended, leaving only these three and a Golden Alms Bowl behind.
The outcome of the battle was self-evident.
"So, you’re here to mock us?"
Minyin said gloomily.
The mention of the Great Xuan Kong Mountain felt antagonistic to them.
"Not necessarily."
Manjushri smiled faintly: "I just think you’re making too much of a fuss."
"To deal with one Celestial Immortal, three Bodhisattvas had to join forces, even resorting to using Wuzong Bodhisattva’s Infinite Golden Alms Bowl."
"It seems all of you still have quite a bit of cultivation to do."
Though he said he wasn’t ridiculing them, his tone was filled with mockery.
This made the three’s chests rise and fall, feeling deeply insulted.
Manjushri didn’t care about this at all; although he couldn’t face them three-on-one,
he also didn’t have significant enmity with them.
As people of the Buddhist Sect, they wouldn’t break the rules and lay hands on him over some teasing words, right?
"Gentlemen, who exactly is the culprit within the Golden Alms Bowl?"
Asking knowingly with a smile on his face, Manjushri hadn’t noticed the strange atmosphere.
Zang Qing said in annoyance: "Who the culprit is, don’t you, Manjushri Bodhisattva, already know? Why ask knowingly!"
"Uh..."
Manjushri nodded with a smile upon hearing this.
"Indeed, among smart people, asking knowingly really doesn’t do much good."
"Since that’s the case, I shall ask directly."
"Would you be willing to do me a favor and hand this person over to me?"
Back then, he set up a plan for a disciple to descend, hoping they could produce another Bodhisattva in the Dao Field.
Unfortunately,
just as the world ascended and success was in sight,
it was ruined by a Daoist from the human world.
Venerable Sumeru was full of hatred.
And wasn’t he the same?
After all, such an opportunity only existed when the rule of ascension of one world was broken, and he set up a plan in that world because he had learned in advance that the Underworld would descend there!
With the Underworld’s arrival, rules were broken, reducing the difficulty of collective ascension by millions of times.
It can be said that.
Such an opportunity is extremely rare throughout the ages.
Once missed, it’s hard to have another chance.
He painstakingly set up the plan, only for it to be completely destroyed.
The anger in his heart was imaginable!
Now, with the culprit inside the Golden Alms Bowl, of course, he hoped to take them back and torture them for millennia to vent his anger!
But how could those three know of these things?
They only assumed he was trying to save his disciple.
This made the anger in the hearts of these three the more intense!
"This is outrageous!"
The three exchanged glances, killing intent flashing in their eyes, though their expressions remained calm, they said:
"Since Manjushri Bodhisattva has spoken."
"Very well."
"You may take this person back."
Manjushri was taken aback, looking at the three in surprise.
Evidently, he hadn’t expected that these three would be so easygoing today?
"Are they truly that afraid of me?"
Thinking of this, he felt a bit proud and pleased within, and with palms joined, he smiled:
"In that case, I thank the three Bodhisattvas."
The three smirked without smiling, Wuzong Bodhisattva said:
"However, from the earlier great battle, I suffered some injury, so you’ll have to open the Golden Alms Bowl yourself, Manjushri Bodhisattva."
"I’ve long heard of Manjushri Bodhisattva’s profound cultivation, this shouldn’t be difficult, right?"
Wuzong’s lips carried a hint of provocation.
Manjushri’s eyes slightly narrowed, knowing they wouldn’t be so agreeable, now it seemed they were deliberately setting a stage for him to make a fool of himself publicly!
"But..."
Manjushri glanced around at the observing Immortals below, then at the Golden Alms Bowl, and sneered inwardly with pride.
"If I were inside, perhaps I couldn’t open it, but from out here, what’s difficult about it?"
He calmly approached the Golden Alms Bowl, raising his palm, countless palm lines spread out like threads.
Terrifying Buddha Light instantly burst forth in brilliant colors.
The Golden Alms Bowl hummed.
Then trembled.
Then shook violently.
Finally, a crack appeared.
The moment the crack appeared, a figure shot out like flowing light.
Manjushri was stunned for a moment: "Sumeru?"
As he was wondering.
A terrifying aura exploded behind him.
With a clang!
A Glazed Cloud Pestle suddenly smashed onto the back of his head.
Though he reacted quickly, conjuring a Merit Golden Wheel in the blink of an eye to block.
Yet he still suffered a heavy blow!
The Merit Golden Wheel shattered.
He, as a whole, plummeted like a meteor.
"You!!"
He was stunned and furious, incredulous.
Before he could question,
a sea of Celestial Fire engulfed him.
His head spun, his Divine Soul muddled, he barely managed to form a Dharma Seal, attempting to escape.
But Zang Qing Bodhisattva had long been prepared, and a Ten Thousand Feet Ice Pillar fell from the sky.
With a clang.
Directly cracked Manjushri’s body like a spiderweb.
"Bastards, bastards!!"
"You dare strike against a fellow Bodhisattva?"
Manjushri was dumbfounded.
Completely dumbfounded.
At the same time, his heart was filled with extreme fear.
Even if he didn’t want to believe it, he realized they truly intended to kill him!
Seeing the fire surrounding him.
With furious hatred, he roared internally.
He knew these three were despicable, otherwise, they wouldn’t have forcibly supported Venerable Tianxuan, establishing a Dao Field in Southern Heaven Continent, competing for incense with him!
But even internal strife should have limits!
Just like him, even though he was angry over the years, he hadn’t done anything too difficult against the Great Xuan Kong Mountain.
And yet these beasts!
Want to kill him?
"Aren’t you afraid of this being reported back to the Buddha Country and incurring the wrath of the Buddhas?"
Manjushri yelled in rage.
Unexpectedly, the three roared even louder in reproach.
"You bastard, when you destroyed the Great Xuan Kong Mountain, did you ever consider the limits?"
Upon hearing this, Manjushri paused, suddenly realizing something, hurriedly explaining:
"The Great Xuan Kong Mountain wasn’t destroyed by me, it was the doing of a Daoist who ascended just a month ago!"
"You misunderstood!!"
