Darla examined the symbols one by one with a nonchalant expression, but from just how serious her eyes looked it was obvious she was concentrating on everything she had.

Minutes ticked by as they slowly turned into hours, and after a bit more than an hour later Darla pointed at a symbol in the left and said, "That should be the right one." 𝘧𝘳𝐞𝚎𝑤ℯ𝘣𝗻𝘰ѵℯl.c𝐨𝚖

"Should be?" Khal raised a brow and said, "I hope you know that our lives are on the line here, right? Just a simple 'should be' alone won't be enough. We need a solid choice."

"Yeah, I know, but as I said, although my father is an expert when it comes to arrays, I am not. I can distinguish the difference between a few around us, but not all of them."

As a fact, it would be a complete miracle if she would be able to do it. Not only were the arrays complex to the point where Darla felt a headache when she tried to understand them, but they were carved into the symbols where the array became smaller and more jammed too!

Comprehending which one did what with her limited knowledge was simply asking for the impossible.

Khal seemed to realize this and could only sigh before asking, "Then how sure you are that is the correct one?"

"About 70 to 75 percent..." Darla replied once she thought over many things once again.

"75% at best, huh?" Khal didn't know how he should feel about it.

If it would have been anytime else without any risk involved, that 75% would make him happy without a question, but unfortunately, that was not the case currently. He knew that the remaining 25% in this situation was like buying a ticket to the afterlife; it was simply a wish of suicide.

Khal closed his eyes and began to ponder only to sigh after a few minutes.

'What a pity... If I would have an ability similar to that dog's, Andre, we could have easily found the traps and walked to the other side.'

Indeed, if Khal would have a power that let himself clone several times as Alde did, he could have easily sent them to stand on the symbols and see which one reacted and killed them and which one did not.

But alas, that was only a wish that was useless to grieve for as presently he could do nothing about it to obtain.

"Do you think we can activate the arrays with our powers if we attack them?" Khal asked suddenly.

"Unfortunately, we can't." Darla shook her head as she took thought about this possibility.

Although many arrays could be triggered by a simple attack or a toss of items, these arrays were created in a way where they would only activate when someone was standing on them directly.

"And how about if we travel through the air?"

"Through the air? You mean flying?" Darla asked.

"Well, I wouldn't say flying, but simply traveling through the air," Khal exclaimed his thoughts as he examined the sight above.

Darla did the same as him, but soon she shook her head and pointed at several points around to the hall, "It seems None has thought about this too and created several detection arrays. If you try to complete this tries by traveling through the air, I fear you won't be able to take even a second breath before you get yourself killed."

"What a pain in the ass..." Khal mumbled with irritation in his voice, thinking he could have used his World Devourer Physique to get themselves to the other side of the hall as his length would have been just long enough.

But seems this option was out of the question too.

"Then I guess we will have to go with your decision," Khal said, but just as he was about to take a step forward and put his feet onto the symbol, Darla shouted suddenly.

"Wait!"

"What did you find?" Khal asked calmly, feeling no annoyance that he was stopped. As a fact, he was slightly at relief as it seemed Darla figured out something and he didn't have to risk his life.

"Don't step on it yet. Maybe I have found something." Darla looked at several symbols before raising her gaze up and down several times and pointing her slender fingers toward the right. f𝔯𝒆𝚎𝚠𝑒𝚋𝓃૦νℯƖ.co𝘮

"There. That will be the right one, I am one hundred percent sure."

"So confident?" Khal was startled by the change of attitude in Darla, as she felt way more confident this time than previously, and couldn't help but ask, "Why the sudden change of mind? Didn't you say this is the right one?"

"Yeah, maybe I did, but that was before I noticed those." as she said that, Darla lifted her finger, pointing at the ceiling above.

"Noticed what? I can't see anything up there." Khal used his Heaven's Eyes to inspect the symbol, but even then he found nothing.

"That's because you have never seen a Mirror Array before."

"Mirror Array? What is that?" Khal frowned and concentrated several levels more to see what Darla was talking about. But of course, he saw nothing even after he pushed his Heaven's Eyes all to the very limit.

"Mirror Arrays or on their other name, Camouflage Arrays are capable of disguising other arrays in their proximity almost wholly, which in this case are..." Darla explained before leaping at the symbol she pointed at the last time, taking Khal by complete surprise.

"H-Hey!" Khal was about to act and pull her back, but watched with a startled expression as Darla's feet has already touched the symbol, but the anticipated death didn't come.

"Huh? S-She succeeded?" Khal was surprised to see this, but quickly became happy and asked, "How did you know that was the right choice?"

Darla glanced at Khal before pointing at him then upward and saying, "If you wouldn't have made me look up, I wouldn't have figured out that all this time the bad choice was the right choice because of that."

"Because of the Mirror Array?" Khal asked.

However, Darla shook her head and said, "No, not because of that, but instead the array it was trying to cloak, a Nullification Array."
