Cultivation Through Artifacts-Chapter 225 - Starting His Revenge!
Deep under the earth surface somewhere inside Shadow Woods, a man in a black uniform was slowly walking up and down in a wide and long white corridor, when suddenly another man in the same clothing as him appeared at the corner.
"Finally! I thought you will never come!" the guy seemed happy when he noticed his colleague, his mood taking a one hundred eighty turn in a flash.
"Hmph! Pathetic! Feeling so bored when you have such a huge responsibility to protect the Young Master... I still can't understand how you were selected, such a disgrace..." the man snorted coldly, causing the other man to smile bitterly.
"Haha, what can I say? Walking around the same place over and over again without anyone to talk to can be quite boring you know that, right?" said the man with a bitter smile, however his companion only sneered coldly once again, looking at him as though he was some kind of insect that was unpleasant to the eye.
"Anyways, now that you are here, its time for me to g-"
BOOM!
Though, just before he could have finished talking, a sudden explosion broke the walls on the sides, burying both of them under melted jam and huge pieces of debris in the very next second, unknown if they were alive or not.
Meanwhile, a figure clad in silver armor began to walk out slowly from the gap where the wall broke down, looking at the two men below the debris with a complexion that was hidden.
'...'
After staring at the two men in silence, Khal raised his arm that was already covered in blazing yellow fire, and without thinking about anything else, scorched the two bodies into nothing more but ash.
'Bunch of trashes. I can hardly believe that asshole really thought a few Sixth Stage Cultivators will save his life in this place.' thought Khal calmly, his gaze staring at the spot where the two men previously were a few moments ago.
"Found him! Over here!"
Suddenly a man appeared at the corner of the corridor in the same black uniform as the previous two, shouting in a loud voice that soon brought another two men that seemingly were looking for the source of the explosion too.
"Where are the Tom and Jeff? Shouldn't they suppose to be somewhere here?" one of the men asked in a confused expression, his gaze scanning the surroundings to find those two that no longer were among the living.
"Who cares where those two fools are! We have an intruder right here, so get ready to f-"
BOOM!
However, his sentence never came to an end as his, and the remaining two men's bodies evaporated into nothingness because of the fire that engulfed their bodies out of nowhere!
'This is really ridiculous... And they dare to claim themselves as guards? At least I have killed them or they would only bring shame on that title.' Khal shook his head slightly, his face showing discernable disgust as he looked in the direction where he just killed the three men known as 'guards'.
"WHO DARES TO CAUSE RUCKUS IN MY PLACE??!!" 𝒇𝗿𝙚ℯ𝑤ℯ𝑏𝒏𝑜ѵe𝙡.c𝐨m
Just as Khal was about to move to the place where Alde could be seen, suddenly a loud roar resounded in the air, shaking the walls on the sides before a man in a black robe with silver symbols on it appeared out of thin air, it's gaze fixed on Khal with visible killing intent.
"You? What the fuck do you want?" it seemed the man recognized Khal, which didn't surprise Khal at all as he kind of guessed he was seen the moment he descended into the Ghost Spider's nest three days ago.
Instead, he just turned to face the man, his brows furrowed deeply together behind his armor.
'Seventh Cultivation Stage? It will be troublesome to kill him.'
Khal knew that after the Fifth Cultivation Stage every Stage was like a separate realm, each exceptionally stronger than the previous one by several levels! Thus, killing someone that was above the other in Cultivation Stage was almost impossible, or at least until one had no heaven-defying Talent.
"I will ask this one more time. Who are you and why did you come here?"
'...'
Seeing as Khal just stared at him without saying a single word, the man furrowed its brows, seemingly annoyed by Khal's silence.
"I don't know who told you about this place, but once I find out the truth I swear not even God will be able to save you and the ones closest to you!" hissed the man coldly, his body leaking suffocating presence mixed with killing intent that Khal never seen nor felt before.
Yet, not even this seemed to work on Khal as he still remained silent and unmoved, almost as if he just fell unconscious on his very own feet!
The man snorted once he got no reply, even feeling kind of angry as he thought Khal looked down on him and took out a crimson dagger from his spatial ring and began to talk.
"Your quite the cocky one, but I don't really care at all as exactly this is what will lead to your death!"
WHOOSH!
In a single blink, the man appeared before Khal with his weapon raised high above his head, and with a powerful swing that drew a vertical crimson arc in the air, chopped at Khal's body with the desire to cut his body in half!
"Di-, huh?" f𝓇𝘦ℯ𝙬𝑒𝐛n𝐨νe𝙡.c𝑜𝗺
The man was ready to kill Khal with a single strike, however, just the instant his dagger could have reached its target, suddenly Khal's figure vanished into thin air and reappeared behind him almost like a ghost!
"Courting death!" the man spun around with top-notch speed and reaction speed once he noticed Khal behind him, but something he could hardly believe happened.
Just as he turned around, ready to swing his weapon and slice Khal's body from side to side into two, Khal has long ago stood before him, his palm that was covered with blue light, in direct contact with his chest.
"Wha-"
KA-BOOOM!!!
