Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox-Chapter 405 – Demonic Foxes and Familiar Visitors
Chapter 405 – Demonic Foxes and Familiar Visitors
"You know how Evolutions work." Char shrugged. His own daughter went from lizard to almost completely genuine Dragon, so he understood there would be changes.
Aiko observed them for a bit as they chatted.
"What do you plan to do with those Foxes?" Char's wife asked.
What was strange for Aiko, was that she could only see her silhouette. She couldn't make out her face, body, colours, nothing!
It was strange, but she would ask about this later.
"Brave Passion will talk to them if they want to follow me around or not. Either way, I will report that there will be no Foxes in this Village, since the Fox Village will soon become one glorious mess." Aiko shrugged.
"Are you supposed to tell us that?" Char frowned.
"Probably not, but who cares. I definitely don't." Aiko chuckled softly.
"You-" Char could only sigh as he observed the daring little Fox.
"Where is this Fox?" Char's wife looked around.
"Do you allow me to contact the Foxes?" Aiko tilted her head.
"Sure. You are harmless, so we don't mind." She nodded gently.
"How would you know that?" Aiko was staring at her speechlessly.
"Who knows~" She hummed mischievously.
Aiko rolled her eyes, but ruffled her tails.
"What are you doing?" Char's wife was quite upset that the 'little' Fox was trying to seduce her husband. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"Trying to find Brave Passion, give me a moment." Aiko was grabbing the individual Demonic Foxes inside her Tails, trying to find out the Brave Passion.
"What kind of bulls-" Char's wife had almost a nasty outburst when the 'little' Fox suddenly pulled another Fox out of her Tails. "What-!?" She was shocked silly.
Meanwhile, Char almost coughed up blood. 'Is that even possible?!' He was doubting his eyes.
"Yes, Mistress?" The Brave Passion quickly adapted to her situation and didn't question it.
Aiko happily nodded as this was a perfect attitude. "There are Foxes outside, so contact them and explain the situation. If they want to stay, they can stay." She shooed the Brave Passion away from the room before paying more attention to them.
"What were you saying?" Aiko tilted her head. Neither of them spoke, since they were still shocked.
"I don't know where to start." Char's wife sighed.
"Don't ask me, I still can't cope with what just happened." Char shook his head.
...
They exchanged a few words here and there, while Aiko patiently waited for them to recover.
"What do you plan to do with the Foxes if they join you?" Char's wife suddenly asked.
"Train them so they can loot the Secret Realm with me." Aiko shrugged.
This time, not just Char, but even his wife coughed up blood.
"Are you a lunatic? Are you trying to ruin Secret Realms?!" Char's wife spat out.
"Who said anything about ruining?" Aiko tilted her head. "I said looting!" She pouted.
"That's not-" Char's wife didn't know how to communicate with this 'little' Fox.
"Mistress?" The Brave Passion was behind the doors.
"What is it?" Aiko spoke to her gently.
"They would like to join, but they are not in good shape. I would like to request reinforcements." The Brave Passion explained briefly.
"Already?" Aiko thought it would take a few days.
"I will explain later." The Brave Passion said.
"Okay." Aiko ruffled her Tails again.
''Don't tell me-'' The pair thought in unison as the 'little' Fox pulled out another Demonic Fox. They were shocked silly by the sight.
Aiko and the 'new' Demonic Fox exchanged glances.
'She will need more help...' Aiko didn't want to overwork her servants, so it was better to summon more of them.
She ruffled her Tails again, and the pair stiffened.
Two, three, four, five-
The pair coughed violently as they counted the newcomers. Moreover...
'How are they still sane?' Char's wife was bothered by this part, since Demonic Foxes were supposed to be quite feral. Yet these were obedient and submissive.
"Go help Brave Passion with her work." Aiko commanded.
"Yes, Mistress." They answered in unison while politely bowing.
Aiko nodded happily as they disappeared behind the door.
"What were we talking about?" Aiko innocently scratched her head.
"Nothing..." Char's wife was mentally exhausted and was not in the mood to engage in any conversation.
"Oh... Okay." Aiko nodded slowly. She believed that they still had some questions, but didn't ask them out of consideration.
...
The pair discussed things while Aiko kept observing them.
Char's wife sighed. "This is too exhausting for me." She stood up, leaving the room.
"What are your future plans?" Char hoped that the 'little' Fox would stay here for a while.
"I don't really know. I will report the mission and probably leave this place." Aiko shrugged.
"Want a safe place for the report?" Char invited her again.
"Nope, I will just do it here." Aiko shrugged and pulled out the Contact Talisman.
"Aiko?" The Peak Elder spoke.
"Yep. There are no Foxes here." Aiko said simply.
"But my report says something else." The Peak Elder sounded suspicious.
"I should say that there are no longer any Foxes in this place." Aiko rolled her eyes.
"What does that mean?" The Peak Elder frowned.
"I took them." Aiko shrugged like it was not a big deal.
"There are more groups arriving soon, so try to defend them." The Peak Elder said.
"There is no need to defend them, since they won't be able to find them." Aiko shrugged.
"..." The Peak Elder understood why the Jade Fox had a headache.
"Don't worry about it, and tell me how many enemies I should dispose of?" Aiko nudged the Talisman.
"If possible, please don't kill them." The Peak Elder said. "If they act aggressively, you can give them 'your' treatment." She added.
"Gotcha." Aiko nodded. "Should I leave afterwards?"
"If you can keep the Demonic Foxes safe, yes." The Peak Elder said before cutting off the connection.
"Premature, but should be fine." Aiko nodded. She believed something was strong on the other side, but she wouldn't be able to deal with it.
It was better to focus on this situation rather than to deal with things out of her reach.
"I will go and reinforce the Village, just in case." Char stood up, and Aiko walked behind him.
"Sure, I will hide the Foxes, so that they have no reason to attack. If they attack, I will naturally help you." Aiko giggled.
"Thanks. This is where we part for the time being, but if a bell rings, please come to the Village's Gate." Char explained before leaving.
"Sure." Aiko waved before leaving towards the Demonic Foxes.
'There is a lot to do, but I just need to store them.' Aiko licked her lips.
"Can we get some food, Mistress?" The Brave Passion asked.
"Sure." Aiko pulled food out of her Tails and gave it to them. "Eat as much as you want, since this mission is almost over."
"Already?" The Brave Passion was quite shocked.
"Since there are no Demonic Foxes, we don't have anything else to do." Aiko shrugged disinterested.
"Oh." The Brave Passion blankly nodded. Her Mistress was too powerful!
...
The Demonic Foxes were recovering from their injuries and mental state.
They were quite cuddly, but since Aiko was in a good mood, she didn't mind being swarmed by them.
"Is this all of them?" Aiko asked her.
"Yes, Mistress." The Brave Passion answered softly. She found all of the Demonic Foxes, and once they saw her bubbly expression, everyone wanted to follow her.
It was all thanks to the soothing nature Aiko exuded. Those voices pretty much shut up immediately, which did cause issues, but it was better than them constantly ranting inside their minds.
The sudden quiet caused a lot of unease, and that's why they were so cuddly.
'I feel like I'm at some kind of Beast Shop.' Aiko pursed her lips.
...
Aiko accompanied the Demonic Foxes until the bell rang.
She then shoved all the Foxes inside her Tails before meeting Char by the gate.
"Everything is ready." Aiko gave him the 'okay' sign.
"On our end, too." Char nodded gently. "We can greet them."
They walked outside the Village.
There were 3 groups of Foxes waiting.
"So you finally walked out from your little Vill-" One haughty Fox proclaimed, but when he saw the Vicious Jade Fox... he immediately turned meek.
Aiko tilted her head, but didn't say anything.
"I already told you there are no Foxes inside." Char scoffed at them.
"Then there shouldn't be any issue for us to look inside, right?" The third team leader said.
"Sure." Char shrugged and invited them inside. He believed Aiko would be able to uphold her words.
The 3 teams were startled that he was so willing and followed him inside.
...
Their expressions changed drastically.
"Where are the Foxes?!"
"I know, right?! They are supposed to be in here!"
"You guys are delusional."
Only the second team didn't believe that questionable information, which caused quite a conflict between the groups.
"Finished?" Aiko tilted her head. "You know that you are supposed to clear the mission quickly. Yet you dilly-dally like that." She clicked her tongue.
The first and third team glared at the Vicious Jade Fox, but they were unwilling to openly diss her.
They treasured their backdoors, so they were quite defensive when it came to this.
"Then let's go. I have better things to do, than to follow meaningless missions." Aiko shook her head, making everyone into a fool.
Just then, a flying ship suddenly appeared, descending near the Village.
'More reinforcements.' Char thought that this was the first time these guys had come so quickly. He still worried that the Foxes had made a mess, so he called the Heavenly Treasure Pavilion for help.
A beautiful Fox with rough-looking Cultivators and a young girl descended from the ship.
"How are you doing, Char?" Her motherly expression startled Char.
"You look better than ever. Did something nice happen?" Char narrowed his eyes.
"I have a nice relationship, and with my daughter too." Fang Jie giggled.
"Hello, Char-" Fang Jia suddenly noticed Aiko. "Hello~!" She waved happily at her.
Fang Jie's expression stiffened, but she didn't comment on this situation...
