Chapter 94: Chapter 94: Male Lover

Li Jain went to Moonstone Scholars Institute to pick his two boys up. As soon as Juanxin’s class came out, he ran to his father and threw himself into his arms.

Li Jain caught him and patted his head lightly: "Why are you running so fast?"

"Daddy, I went to find you during lunch break but the teacher said you were taking a nap. Were you too tired waiting for me?" Juanxin asked worriedly.

"Not quite. I’m alright, daddy just needed to rest for a while." Li Jain assured Juanxin.

Li Jain then gave a grateful look to the teacher who responded by shaking her head, saying no problem.

She just happens to see Li Jain leaving in a hurry by chance and thought he might have something urgent to attend to.

"How was school? Did you make any new friends?" Li Jain asked

"I made a new friend. Her name is Ai Xinyi." Juanxin replied.

"Ah," Li Jain was surprised: "That’s good. I thought that ginger haired kid was going to be your first friend."

"Xinyi is really nice, she helped me catch butterflies today. We ate lunch together. That ginger haired boy is annoying, he kept bothering me all day today. Dad, can I bring a lot of food tomorrow?" Juanxin asked with excitement.

"But you brought a lot today." Li Jain knows how much portion Juanxin can eat, and the food he brought this morning was triple that amount.

"Well, you see..." Juanxin said shyly: "Teacher Ye just wanted to taste my lunch when I told him that my Dad is the best cook in the world. But... he ended up eating it all. He ordered a takeout for me but it wasn’t as good..."

Li Jain chuckled: "It seems he doesn’t want to lose face so he ordered a replacement. But I guess it will be alright. If he really wants to try the food, I’ll add a small portion for him so he doesn’t eat yours."

"Really?!" Juanxin was delighted.

"Of course, let’s wait for your brother before heading back."

Not long after, Li Cheng came from the other side of the school and met up with them.

"Hello, Dad." Li Cheng bowed his head.

"Hey Chengzhi, How was your first day of school?" Li Jain greeted him.

Li Cheng shrugged: "The teachers are pretty nice. Everything else is OK. They said that lesson will truly begin the day after tomorrow."

"That’s go."

They got into the carriage and went to Azure Cloud Academy, where Li Yujian and Jingsheng were waiting.

"Daddy, why did you pass Vermillion Academy? Aren’t we picking you second, fourth and sixth brother up?" Li Juanxin asked puzzledly.

"Heheh." Li Jain chuckled: "Your brothers are already home."

"How come they get to go home early? That’s not fair, I wanted to go home too." Juanxin pouted and complained.

Li Jain shook his head and explained: "There was a little incident at their school today, I had no choice but to take them home."

"Father, what happened?" Li Yujian just entered the carriage when he heard talking, he immediately asked after he finished.

Li Jain gave a simple explanation, but he only said he taught madam Yan a lesson, not going into much detail.

"Tch!!" Li Yujian looked angry. He didn’t expect Yuhan to be so cowardly at such critical moments.

At the same time, Li Cheng also had similar anger: "Who is this Yan Zhenghao?"

"He is the youngest son of the current head of the Yan family in Qingyuan Town." Li Yujian said coldly: "I thought the reason why Yuhan used to let Zhenghao walk over him is because we were under another’s roof. I didn’t expect him to be even more cowardly now!"

When Li Jingsheng saw how pissed off his older brother was, he quickly tried to appease him: "Eldest boy, calm down. It’s not worth it. Maybe the second brother has his own reasons. It might be a misunderstanding."

"Misunderstanding?" Li Yujian interrupted: "Misunderstanding that enraged his younger brother to fight for him?..."

"Alright, alright, we are home." Li Jain cut off their heated argument and signaled them to get down.

Li Yujian opened the door of the carriage and climbed out. Li Jingsheng quickly followed him as the three of them went inside the house.

Juanxin looks at their hurried figures and decides to stay with his dad.

It was already late in the evening, Li Jain prepared dinner and set the table. He called the children downstairs to eat.

The Children had heavy faces as they came out. There was an extra person at the table.

"Uncle Liu, you’re back." Li Juanxin

immediately went forward. He gave LiuXiong a rare hug.

Liu Xiong was a bit confused about his excitement but he still hugged the kid back.

"Xinxin, I heard your mother is here." Liu Xiong smiled and said.

He wanted to test Juanxin’s reaction. Although the others said that the three children didn’t recognize the woman named Fan Ruyin as their mother, he still wanted to see it for himself.

"Oh, Yes." Li Juanxin nodded and looked toward the doorway, where Fan Ruyin stood: "She’ll soon be leaving."

"Really, when?" Liu Xiong asked curiously.

"I don’t know, but she has overdue her stay." Juanxin pauses and looked at Liu Xiong with bright eyes: "Uncle Xiong, are you my father’s lover?"

Liu Xiong froze in place for a moment, then he nodded.

"Then uncle Xiong should help me to protect daddy!" Juanxin hugged his uncle tightly and cried happily.

Liu Xiong couldn’t resist laughing and gave Juanxin a pat on his shoulder.

Fan Ruyin was stunned for a moment, she couldn’t believe that this so-called uncle Liu or Xiong would admit his relationship with Li Jain. But then again, she thought it was because the children didn’t even know what a lover is.

"Juanxin, your father is a man, how can another man be his lover?" She walked over angrily and gave a harsh gaze to Liu Xiong.

"Why not? I remember my brother said before that it’s not wrong for men to like each other. Besides, daddy is so pretty." Juanxin pouted as he recalled his conversation with his brother months ago.

Li Zhang immediately covered his face.

"It’s still wrong! As a child you shouldn’t encourage such behavior!" Fan Ruyin scolded loudly.

Li Xiong suddenly took a step forward and blocked Juanxin behind him: "What does this have to do with you?"

"It has everything to do with me! I am his children’s mother." Fan Ruyin snapped .

"Is that so? Then you should understand that you aren’t the one who decides how our father lives his life right?" Li Yujian raised his brow and said coldly.

"Huh, You!" Fan Ruyin was furious when she heard his response. The look in her eyes became dark.

Liu Xiong smiled, it seems like everyone is on his side this evening. If he doesn’t take advantage now, he’s going to miss such a good opportunity.

"As long as the children approve of the relationship between Li Jain and I, what can you do about it?"

"You-" Fan Ruyin pointed her finger at him: "How can you be this shameless? You’re also a man!"

Liu Xiong laughed:" Alright, alright, don’t make it difficult for yourself. I heard you came to visit your children, you and Li Jain won’t get back together so stop your wishful thinking."

"It’s because of obstacles like you! I can’t believe I ran into such a lowly and shameless man! you’re a disgrace to manhood." Fan Ruyin was fuming with rage, as she glared hatefully at Liu Xiong.

Liu Xiong’s gaze changed: "If you want your tongue to stay intact, you’d better watch your mouth!" His voice became extremely menacing as he said so.

Fan Ruyin was startled by his tone. She could tell that he wasn’t someone to mess with, but Li Jain is now wealthy and powerful. The fact that they had a past relationship and children has increased her chances of being with him.

How could she give that up now?

"What are you guys talking about?" Li Jain served the dishes and told them to sit.

"Li Jain, you’re already a man with seven children. How could you be in an ambitious relationship with a man?" Fan Ruyin couldn’t say anything to Liu Xiong so she turned to Li Jain instead.

"What ambitious relationship? The kids like Liu Xiong and they don’t seem to like you very much." Li Jain said indifferently.

"So because the children like him, you’re going to marry a man?" Fan Ruyin asked again.

This question made Li Jain hesitate a bit: "Marriage? I haven’t really thought about it."

Fan Ruyin who was fighting a losing battle suddenly saw a glimpse of hope. Of course, how could she have been so narrowed minded? Wealthy men like to play around and keep male concubines. But which family has a man as the main wife?

As long as she becomes the main wife, she wouldn’t mind putting up with Li Jain’s little habits.

But Li Jain’s next work poured cold water on her thoughts.

"But if Liu Xiong wants me to marry him, I won’t mind." Li Jain said calmly.
